Ousmin Apple CarPlay Head Unit

but now [Music] what's good you two minutes your boy you're on duff coming at y'all with another video here man uh finally got around to doing an update with the uh i believe it's called osuman uh car stereo here uh obviously we have the car multimedia player uh kid kind of did the revealing of the radio back when i was out in chicago uh i kept saying it was a little bit too dark for me to go in depth on it uh so i wanted to wait till i got back here in the studio to give it true justice uh so no more beating around the bush let's go ahead and take a look at it uh looks like this is the wireless version ox d8 pro uh clearly it has apple carplay on it [Music] and yeah it looks like oxd8 pro man so let's see what we got going when we open up this box [Music] all right so we open up the box matter of fact i guess i'll do it like this uh so y'all can see what i'm seeing what do we get out here i believe this is the harness to the stereo itself all right let's grab something else out of there i believe this is the backup camera because i see some av cables in there and if i'm not mistaken this does come up with a reverse camera and yep that's exactly what it is we got a little reverse camera in there if you're not familiar with this equipment my man hi-fi vega he did do uh a test on his stereo uh i'm gonna do some testing with it as well but that is the reverse camera uh it's not high definition based on the test that high five vega did with it man but uh does come through pretty nice uh if you're looking for a backup camera goes right in here with the stereo which we're gonna go ahead and pull out now if i can get her out of there all right so got the user user's manual and let's get the head so clearly it's a short chassis radio and i believe these are the mounting brackets i don't want to get too rough with her there we go so it looks like yeah so they got uh the metal uh mounting brackets that come with it but let's get to that stereo man so that is a pretty huge freaking screen man uh but like i said it is a short chassis so that's a plus there uh let's go ahead and get it out the plastic all right so like i said man i'm gonna do my like i said uh high five vega he did do a review on this uh but you know how i got to go down man for me i got to do my own testing as well uh see how i like the screen personally and there i am all my christmas lights and everything so there's the screen uh looks like it got the mic built in um i believe that's probably a reset button power home back uh value plus and minus so looks to be an android based radio man and y'all can see i'm doing this on my iphone uh but yeah so we'll see what we got going here um we get the screen powered up whole heck of a lot of inputs on the back of this joker so this would be where your power harness goes what is that down there hold on let me do this off screen i don't ah maybe just for the steering i think it says wire i don't know i'm gonna have to do this more in debt when i get time but obviously for your radio antenna right there uh it's got a i believe probably a av input right there um so it looks like sub channel here audio out it says down here so you kind of have to do like i said man you're gonna have to give me a break your boy might need glasses i can't really see that stuff too well maybe y'all can now on the camera down there it says audio out and then video out what the heck does that want to say video out right here and then something right there what the hell does that say oh avn uh so yeah it's kind of hard to see that uh once again that could be me personally with my own eyes and whatnot but so yeah uh pretty decent screen right here a nice screen size uh we'll see what we get into with this man so i get just doing a quick little video on the phone here so we can get this joker going so we got the unboxing going that way and uh this here yeah this is so this is the power harness once we'll take that off the packaging i don't know can i don't know what all that is but clearly this is your speaker harness power harness for the head unit itself and over here i believe this is probably a microphone got the mounting hardware and yep one huge microphone man so uh just like i said just doing a quick little unboxing on this stereo wanted to get it done uh since i did a quote-unquote preview of it out in chicago and this owner's manual is about as long as my wolfram audio ant man but like i said man we'll get around to uh getting this thing tested and whatnot man i believe it has a pretty decent screen on it short chassis if you're into that so that'll give you a lot of real estate to mount things and whatnot man so um like i said i'm gonna go ahead and get this thing up and rolling sooner or later i just wanted to hurry up and get the unboxing video done because it's been quite a while uh since i've done one or it's not since i've done an unboxing video but since i got around to actually doing this man so put that over there i wanted to see if the box had anything no the manufacturer is something that i the manufacturer address and whatever i can't pronounce none of that it's all um you know chinese manufacturing and whatnot doesn't have any specs or anything like that once i get into actually looking at the owner's manual we'll see what's um what it's supposed to put out i believe it's 14 by four at four ohms i want to say uh for the built-in amplifier and whatnot obviously apple carplay i believe it does have android auto as well uh but once i get around now that might be well down the line uh but once i get around to hooking this thing up and seeing if you know sound quality is there and all that jazz man we might go ahead and give it a thumbs up man so i'll probably put a link
