🔴Live: 360° VR Magic Kingdom Live Stream - Testing new 360° Camera!

Well, hey everybody, it's Josh with WolfsburgTV1, and I am live today at the Magic Kingdom 360 livestream today. One of our first ones ever at the Magic Kingdom, so so excited to have you guys join us today for a 360 livestream around right here in our favorite place. I'm gonna grab the chat here in just a second, I gotta read that off another phone because of the way this particular stream works, but definitely be sure to subscribe if you haven't already done so. We're always trying to do new things like this, and also be sure to hit the notification bell to be notified every time we go live or have a new video. Jenna just posted a new video there, so check that out as soon as you can. Also, this is a 360 video, so if you're watching this on a TV, it's probably not going to work. It's probably going to look really crazy. It's probably going to look like me all distorted right in the middle of a really distorted image. So if you're watching this on a TV and going, what's going on? It didn't work. Don't watch this on a TV unless it's a brand new TV that does 360. Watch this on a smartphone, a laptop, or a tablet, well or a desktop. So a smartphone, a laptop, sorry let me say it again, smartphone, computer, or tablet because it does not work on TVs. So at least most TVs it doesn't work on. Anyway, definitely do that. Check it out. I'm going to grab the chat here real quick so I can see what you guys are saying, but I hope this looks good. Swipe around in all directions if you're on a device and you should be able to see in every direction possible. You can even look up and down, left, right, wherever you want. If you're just seeing me or if you're just seeing the ground, swipe around or tilt your device and you'll see more. Hopefully it's not too jittery. Hold on just a second guys. So if you're watching on a phone, turn it into landscape mode and that will make it a lot sharper. Otherwise it's going to look very distorted. So again, turn it into landscape mode and that'll help quite a bit everybody. And also again, make sure you're on a smartphone, a computer, or a tablet. Looks like we're gonna have a spinning in your hand. Yeah, so if that's the case, you need to swipe around or tilt your device. If you tilt your device, you're going to see in all different directions. A little fuzzy, but it is 360. Yeah, Brad, it's going to be fuzzy. We're actually at a super high bit rate, but it is going to be fuzzy. So stay tuned. And like I said, this is just a test. We're not going to do this for our regular streams, but it is kind of fun to try something new that nobody's done before. So kind of cool. You sound far away. It just got super hot. There we go. That's cool. Hey, Caroline. Yeah, picture's going to look a little fuzzier because of all the data that has to be going through. Remember, this is not just a flat picture like a regular live stream. It's actually 360, so it has to process a lot more data. So I had to lower the bit rate just a little bit. Yeah, no, it's not going to look good on your TV. It's going to look very, very distorted on the TV. So that's TVs. This is pretty cutting edge stuff. The TV not going to work, but your phone is going to look pretty good on your tablet, too. So yeah, just something fun. Again, this is not our regular streaming app, or this is not our regular streaming method. It's just going to be something we try for fun sometimes. So let's walk through the park a little bit and see what we can do. So I'm going to keep staying in the shade here so I can stay cool. It's hard to read the chat, even on my iPhone. It's so warm. Oh, some TVs it might work on. Okay. So if it looks weird on your TV, depending on how old it is, like I have an older TV, it won't work. But if you have a newer one, it might work. I may not be able to read very much chat because it is just so bright out here. I'm not sure what the deal is with the phone. But anyway, you guys are enjoying it. And the sound might not be as good as normal because, again, it's a different app, different camera that we're using. So it's a 360 camera connected to a phone. So make sure you're swiping around your device and looking around all directions. So give me just a minute. If you need help, just look at the pinned comment. But here you go, guys. We're almost to the entrance to the ride. This is so cool. I'm so glad you guys like it. Hey, everybody. Well, if you think this looks bad, just wait until tonight, because we are going to be having a 4K regular live stream. It's going to be the clearest thing you've ever seen, but this is just something for fun. A short one. Tonight's stream is going to be longer, starting at 6 PM, and I'll be streaming the fireworks as well. And we'll be using a modified version of our regular app that will stream in 4K. So pretty cool. So don't miss it tonight at 6. But the reason this one looks so fuzzy is because there's just no way to put all that data into a 360 picture without having a little bit of fuzz. All right. If the stream stops for some reason, it probably means something overheated. So we'll see you guys tonight at 6, but hopefully it stays on for the ride. But this is the test. I tested it by myself yesterday, but I need to be able to test it with people watching. A lot of people think it's really cool. I'm glad. I wish I could get rid of the stuttering, but I don't know how. Could you make a Happily Ever After 360? Yes. Yes, we could. Yep, for sure. And also, I'm going to make lots of different Happily Ever After angle videos, so don't miss that. Lots of different videos. Weird, but I like it. Post-captioning feature. We love when you try new stuff, shows your dedication. Thanks, Mike. Yeah, you know, like I said, I knew it wasn't going to be perfect, but I wanted to try it anyway. If you don't try new things, you never know what works and what doesn't. Yeah. Any one of those little, one of those little fan things. I think it's getting better now because I'm in the shade. Here's the Catch-22. Probably would work better at night as far as staying cool, but 360 is not good in the dark because it's trying to capture so much so there's that. I'm on 1080S and the image looks clear. I haven't had a lag in a few minutes. Good. Good, good. Well, it's not a case of source codes of breaking what wasn't broken. It's a case of trying something new. And like I said before, we're always going to keep our main streaming app because it's the best and, you know, refine that. But this is just for fun. We can only do this for about 45 minutes or an hour at a time anyway. So this could never replace our regular streams. But if you don't try new things, then you're just stuck. I appreciate all the positive comments and all the constructive feedback as well. Oh, face mask. Yep, yep, yep. Thank you. I almost forgot my mask. So if you look at our channel, there are two streams scheduled. We're going to be doing a regular stream later tonight with our regular app, but we'll modify version of it in 4K, but it'll be a regular picture, not 360. So yeah. So if you don't like the 360, just wait till later. Yeah, I remember 2400 baud mode and the 300 baud too. All right, guys, enjoy the ride. Try it on your phone if you haven't already. Swipe around on your phone or your tablet and you can turn the camera yourself. If you don't see anything except for my lap or my other phone or my face, swipe around or tilt your phone around. And again, if you're on a smart TV, get off of that and use a tablet or a computer or a phone. You have to use the official YouTube app on the phone or the tablet. It might lag in here, I don't know. I better put on Do Not Disturb so I don't get any weird text or anything. That'd be bad if I get a top people text or something. Well, I can't now it's on Do Not Disturb. I did lower the quality a little bit. I'll bring it back after we get through the tunnel up here. In fact, when I get to main street, I may try the highest quality setting. We'll see because main streets usually got the best signal. That's not a secret. Most people know that. So cool to do this.
