St Lucia - we try a day at the Windjammers Resort

today in St Luci here again and we're going to take you on a special trip today because we've done the volcano we've done Diamond botanical gardens we've even been up in the rainforest on the zip lines you can do a lot of things here but we're going to a special Beach the nearest beach is the other side of this Runway the airports right next to the port stop starts there at the sea and it goes into the town area so the airport is between us and the beach you need to walk into town over the bridge and around the airport then down the roadside until you get to about the Hut area then enter the beach but today we're going to a special Beach so first of all we went through the resort through the resort car park and up the road to one of the taxis who hadn't paid the premium to be inside the car park we used the last bus we came to this is Glenn he always parks at the back if you want to coach ride come down and see him there's his Co so how you guys doing good how are you enjoying it you guess what that meansa no before been here a few times oh we've come to wind jamers it cost us $15 and um he's just dropped us off and he's going to pick us up again that we have to be escorted down to the public beach so many of these Resorts built on a Caribbean Island have to let the public in because the beach is free to everyone this is hey and he has come down to help us for the day and uh told us what what we can do where we can be um and this is a Lovely Hotel hey what's the name of this hotel this is wiama f and residencies right it's a Open resort basically in terms of of different clients so can the inclusive packages you can do a B&B package the Ambiance is great you know the drinks are good the food is good so and sta very friendly the St I wanted to save the best for last it's the first thing he the staff are friendly yes yes yes yeah and it's nice that people like you come over and gain some interest in US yeah excellent thank you when you walk into Resort you get a feeling instantly get a feeling and here at wind jamers it's just a really friendly nice but easy going result this is a resort beach one that charges $175 a person to use the beach with the towers and the sunbeds as much food as you want as much drink as you want we decided to pay on account and at the end of the day five of us wouldd spend about $75 each and we'd eaten and had cocktails all day we used the slide and their sea in fact we generally had a great day even watched Tottenham beat Manchester City on the Ban's phone so a good time was had by all I think we even went through their whole cocktail list between us the wedding well it wasn't a wedding they were actually preparing for a proposal which happened just after we left a very nice result I would recommend it I don't think for what we had consider we had a suned a towel and all those drinks and food $75 each was expensive and when we went to go home they called our cap Glenn came back and we were allowed out of the front door which was absolutely wonderful so we didn't get to use the swimming pool or any of that area because we weren't day visitors we were on account but Wind Jammers is worth going second day in St Lucia it was on an off rain and we decided to enjoy the pool at the ship and why not it's a great pool and the sun's the same anywhere chzn was with us see our film on [Music] Gren excuse me is your name Doris um this is a pop star beer deliveries that's very kind is this for you is it Doris cuz I can't give it to you unless you yeah it's Doris okay for you my lady that is very very welcome anytime thank you thanks for watching Doris visits do join us again please subscribe to our Channel and if you get a chance read cruise ship Heist [Music]
