I've already stopped talking about property altogether on the vlog.
We do want to quickly talk about our situation that we were going through.
Behind the scenes, I think Lucy and I are just kind of fed up with property in general at the moment.
There's some updates and some things we should share with you.
Hello guys, welcome back to a new vlog.
You join me far far away from home.
We have driven about six hours today
and we're completely the other side of the country,
which was a very ambitious thing to do considering we have Koda in the car who's three and a half,
we have Remy in the car who's four months old,
we have Lucy in the car who's 28 years old.
Comment below who you think's been the most hard work on this journey.
Or is it me needing to stop for coffee every two hours?
But anyway, welcome back to the channel, welcome to the vlog.
You join us currently, I mean we're very nearly there.
We're not quite there, this is hopefully our final stop.
We are close to Cornwall.
We are on a little family trip.
We'll bring you along, it's so fun.
Once again picking the camera up on one of these trips.
We've had a really nice few weeks at home.
If you saw the last vlog, we were out on a trip as well.
We're starting the vlog mate.
Koda's wondering what I'm up to.
How's the trip been so far guys?
It's been good, hasn't it?
We've had some lunch.
We've stopped once for petrol and your toilet.
Yes.
Second time for food, we've got a drive-through so we can keep going.
We did get a cheeky drive-through.
Third time for your coffee.
It's all been pretty much the same.
Third time for your coffee and then this time for any needs of food.
So there is the answer to the question that I asked at the start of this video.
I said, who do you think has been the most trouble on this journey?
Out of everyone in the car.
Potentially it is myself.
Because he necks a bottle of water before a five and a half hour drive.
I do have a habit of doing that and then half an hour in needing to stop.
But it's a, what day is it?
It's a Wednesday.
The traffic's been good.
Oh yeah.
Oh cool.
Koda's found a new game he loves.
We have about, I would say, another half an hour driving to where we're getting to.
So thanks for clicking on the video.
I hope you enjoyed the vlog today.
Hope you're doing well.
If you enjoyed today, please leave a thumbs up.

And if you have commented before, please comment again because I love reading the comments.
End of vlog club on the last vlog was strong.
One of the strongest ever.
Saw all those coming in.
So if you make it to the end of the vlog or I've just given it away,
that defeats the whole point of end of vlog club.
Ignore everything I've just said.
So road trip stacks of joy.
And this, which is absolutely delicious.
Oh my God.
Where are we going to go here?
They need to slow down.
Oh dear.
You're gonna have to reverse into that.
Why is he putting his hands up?
He can be a bit more patient, can't he?
He's actually following you.
Angry lorry drivers aside, we are nearly there.
Somehow this one has gone the entire way.
I'm zoomed in without sleeping and I don't understand.
The pink tree.
Nice.
Bless him.
The first three hours he didn't have any screens.
Just sat eating snacks and chatting to us.
Then we had lunch and I thought this is going to be the time he falls asleep.
Didn't fall asleep.
Still awake.
Don't know how he's been up since five.
So he's doing a bit of his new Paw Patrol game on the iPad, which is quite good.
He bought kids.
It's quite a cool game by the looks of things.
He's enjoying it.
I mean, the weather's completely turned.
It's all like grey and misty.
It's quite crazy.
You can do a different game if you want to.
And Remy, bless him, has just fallen asleep again.
I've given myself carpal tunnel from shaking the shaker.
But he's asleep, which is great.
And yeah, I can't believe we've got 11 minutes to go.
I was really kind of dreading this journey, to be honest, because
five and a half hours with two young kids.
Two hours is often a struggle.
One hour is often like driving 10 minutes up the road to my mum's house.
Sometimes it's hard work when timings don't work out well.
But he's been amazing.
He's only been out of the car seat twice.
He's just like smashed it.
It's been a bit of crying and stuff.
I've just been entertaining him with toys and stuff,
and it's kind of worked between him feeding and doing nappy changes and stuff.
It's gone really well.
He has just smashed it.
I don't know.
He's become easier at the age he's at for journeys.
He can just sort of entertain himself and do things
instead of getting upset that he's in the car.
Like, I don't know, when they're like two,
it's really hard because they just cry and just want to get out.
But he's quite happy in the car now, so that's good.
And yeah, now we're just going down.
It's like a single track road with hedges either side.
The scenery is very nice when you can see it.
It's just a bit misty.
But yeah, 10 minutes to go.
Can't wait to get there now.
Who has seen one of these before?
It's a mobile phone, smartphone.
You might spend a little bit of time on it like I do.
We all spend so much time on our phones.
And a company recently got in touch with Lucy and I
who are able to make time spent on your phone a little bit more productive
and a little bit more beneficial to you
instead of just constantly scrolling on social media.
So today's video is sponsored by FreeCash.
And FreeCash is an app.
It's a fun and easy way to earn real money
just by doing some simple things whilst you're already on your phone.
Like playing mobile games or completing surveys.
I've personally been having a look at Monopoly Go.
Loved Monopoly, played it as a kid.
As you can see, there's $112 to be earned here.
$20 if you reach board 101 within eight days.
So I'm going to be working my way through games and tasks.
You're basically able to turn your spare time
that you probably would be spent on your phone
into earning a little bit of extra money.
If you want to try this out, there's a link in the description.
If you use our link, then you will receive a $5 bonus
after completing your first offer.
It is incredibly fast and easy to cash out.
You can extract your funds whenever you want.
And there's a variety of ways you can do that,
whether it's PayPal, even Bitcoin, gift cards,
and some other options as well.
FreeCash has a 4.8 Trust Pilot rating.
So you can feel confident in trying this out.
You can scan the QR code, use the link in the description,
whatever you want, it takes you to the same place.
Make sure you get that $5 bonus.
And yeah, with all the time we spend on these things,
why not be making some money at the same time?
So we haven't actually mentioned where we're going.
We're going to a place in Cornwall called Foey, F-O-W-E-Y.
And we're staying at a hotel called Foey Hall.
Foey Hall, who have kindly invited us
for a couple of nights to stay.
Oh, look, it's so warm.
That's amazing.
Oh yeah, that's cool.
And actually, we've, instead of just doing this
massive journey for two nights,
we've actually ended up adding on
two other trips onto the back of this.
So we're actually out of the house
for like almost two weeks.
We've got like a bit of a road trip coming up
around this part of the country,
which is really exciting.
And it does mean that today's long drive,
we're not doing that again.
We're breaking up the journey on the way back home
with two other stops on the way, if that makes sense.
So the worst of the driving is done.
And I'm so pleased to say that.
But yeah, the hotel looks amazing.
We're staying there.
We've got dinner there tonight.
It's a really nice area.
So we've got a beach and stuff.
Hopefully if the weather's, I mean, to be fair,
we'll still go out in the rain.
But go for a nice day out tomorrow at the beach.
They've got two swimming pools.
We're going to do some swimming.
And it's really like kid centered, the hotel.
They seem to have thought of everything for kids.
So I'm excited to show you around.
Excited to show you the room soon.
I'm not sure what to expect for the room.
I don't know what we're getting or being given.
But yeah, very excited.
This reminds me of Scotland a bit, actually.
Some of the scenery, all the little lay-bys and stuff.
Do you know what it's reminding me of?
What?
One of the Daniel Craig Bond movies.
Oh, really?
Where he drives up.
In Cornwall?
You know, in Scotland.
But it looks kind of like similar when it opened up.
Jordan had a haircut, as you can see.
All bald here now.
He's really gone for the mullet this time.
We freshened up the mullet.
And he's also considering shaving his beard and just having a moustache.
We'll put a photo in here of the AI version.
Comment below if he should go for it or not.
I think I like it.
But I don't think you realize how small your chin is underneath your beard.
You're used to having a big beard.
And you've given yourself the illusion of a long face.
I think you've got a short face with a bum chin.
I do want to do it.
But I may be filled with instant regret.
Yeah, I know.
I'm kind of nervous for you.
I really want to see it.
But I also don't know.
I can't figure it out.
So comment below, guys.
Should he go for it?
Coda, we're here.
Look.
Look out the window, mate.
We've got this big hill.
No way.
Oh, wow.
Coda.
Buck beds.
You can do the tour.
Let's look around first.
Wow, this looks nice.
Don't take your shoes off.
Is it all right, buddy?
Yeah.
Let's get your shoes off.
What's that?
That's biscuits.
Lift up, lift up, lift up.
It was already there, wasn't it?
Yeah, that's for snacks for the coffee machine.
How cool is that?
Here you go.
Thank you, mate.
Oh, do you put them in?
Yeah.
Oh, do you put them in?
This is nice.
Oh, look, it's black and white.
I like that one.
I like it because it's a cool colour.
It is a cool colour.
Yeah, it's nearly practically the same.
It does, doesn't it?
Always good when the toilet seat is the most exciting thing.
Wow.
So we have just checked into our room,
bless me,
and it's so cool.
So I'm going to show you now.
I love the whole vibe of it.
It's super cosy and all kind of like wooden and a bit beachy themes.
We've got like the oyster pictures.
The bathroom in here is amazing.
We've got this huge freestanding bath.
I'm obsessed with this stool.
I would love this sort of thing in my house one day.
And we've also got a separate shower, which is great.
I love this kind of, it's got a name, this kind of tap and stuff.
Beautiful mirror, loads of nice little products and stuff.
And they even provide things like a baby bath,
a nappy bin and a changing mat, which is just so handy.
We've got a nice big sort of old fashioned wardrobe.
So if we say it never looks Instagramable anymore
because we put our chaos in here, but...
He's already figured out YouTube on his TV.
He's got his TV.
He's got his own TV.
He's got his own...
Daddy's going to the car to get it now, darling.
He's got his own bathroom.
He's very excited.
He's going now, darling.
He went for a windsor.
I'm going to get it now.
Got our TV here, little seating area, nice big bed.
And then in here, it's really cool.
It's like a separate playroom.
It's like its own little play, like den in here.
Loads of books.
Darling!
A view out here to some of the grounds, another TV
and another view of the swimming pool, which looks amazing.
They've got a heated outdoor pool here.
Okay, I'm now in a robe.
Things have escalated.
I don't know what happened.
I feel like I had to stop filming
because something chaotic happened
and then I forgot to carry on.
We've kind of unpacked,
but because we're only here for a couple of nights,
we're not fully unpacking.
I wanted to quickly show you Coda's room.
So sweet.
They've written a little note here for Remy and Coda.
So nice.
Like we said before, he's got his...
Oh, what's he put on here?
Oh my goodness.
Some interesting stuff here.
He's got a bunk bed and they also provided a bed guard.
So that's really handy.
So he's very safe in there.
He's always wanting to sleep on the top,
but I think he's a bit too young.
So he can play on the top bunk, sleep on the bottom bunk.
And he's also got his very own,
very nice ensuite bathroom, which...
Oh, and another bath.
So cool.
So the plan for us now is to go for a quick swim.
And then they've got something called the den,
which is kind of like a nursery type thing.
Let me pick you up, Remy.
Hello matey.
Can I pick you up with one hand or not?
Let's try this.
It's like a nursery and they,
with every night you stay,
they give you two hours of free childcare.
I don't know if we're going to do that or not,
because to be honest with you,
we just love like all being together when we're away.
But I think between five and seven,
you're allowed to use it without,
like with the parents.
So we might go and explore that.
And then we've got dinner booked for six.
We might do swim four till five,
the den five till six,
and then dinner at six is the plan,
but we'll see.
Because things sometimes take a bit longer than you expect.
But anyway, we're ready for swimming now.
We're going to go and have a little tour of the hotel
and then head to the swimming pool.
We have dropped all the bags,
arranged the rooms,
and now changed into swimming gear.
And we are off for a pre-dinner swim.
This property, this house is unbelievable.
It's just always a telescope there.
It's just so stunning.
We feel peaceful.
Again, on our last trip, we felt peaceful.
It's kind of been nice lately.
Look at the size of this mirror.
Sorry.
You want a picture?
There you go.
That's a nice face.
Family mirror photo.
Nice.
This mirror is huge.
I mean, this whole house is huge.
And to be perfectly honest,
as much as we love our house,
you may have noticed that we have been away from home
a bit more than usual lately.
And...
Look at this here.
I know, it's so stunning.
And kind of behind the scenes, subconsciously,
I think Lucy and I are just kind of fed up with
property in general at the moment.
And I'll go more into that later on.
Because, yeah, there's some updates
and some things we should share with you.
Because that's what we do here on the vlog.
But quickly behind me,
look at this detail here.
And the size and the scale of this massive, massive ship.
And this staircase.
It's a mix between...
I don't know, I'm getting like Hogwarts vibes,
but of more of a grand English Buckingham Palace,
Buckingham Palace kind of thing.
He just went out the window and went,
yeah, that's really nice for you.
He appreciates the things, doesn't he?
Oh, that looks so nice, doesn't it?
Now I'm sitting there.
Do you know what?
I'm not even mad about the weather
because it's kind of,
it's so atmospheric and idyllic.
We could go for a walk.
Yeah.
Maybe that's the way to the beach.
Maybe, yeah, that looks like a beach.
Yeah.
I've just spotted a little bar here.
Not that we kind of drink anymore,
but maybe a little,
little, what do they call it?
What do they call it?
Mocktail.
I was like virgin cocktail.
Mocktail, that's the one.
This is chess,
but you probably want to wait a few years
so you know how to play that mate.
Yeah, the weather's just making it look extra kind of atmospheric.
We are currently heading for an indoor swim.
They've also got this garden area here
and the manager just showed us around.
Beautiful place, stunning place,
kind of wedding venue kind of vibe
or like a very, very special family event
or something like that.
Or you just want to come somewhere beautiful
and stay for a few nights,
kind of like we are.
Oh, there's the indoor pool.
Okay, we've had a shower.
Wait, when did we last film swimming?
So firstly, lovely experience swimming.
It's going to sound not lovely as I say this,
George went off with my flip flops.
So I was shoeless and I had to go back across a gravel path
and go back to the hotel
because I was with Remy, George had coda.
Shall we?
Tomorrow we can.
He's asleep now.
We can come back tomorrow and do that.
A really nice lady came into the changing room.
She was like, can I do anything for you?
And I was like, you know what?
Yes, my other half has taken my shoes.
She was like, that's fine.
I'll get you some slippers.
She got me some slippers.
She got me a towel.
She took my wet clothes and put it in a plastic bag.
She worked here by the way.
She worked in the spa area
and she was just so nice.
And then another mum came over to me and was like,
do you want me to hold your baby?
I can give my kid to my husband while you have a shower.
And it was like all these kind people around me suddenly.
It was very, very nice.
So anyway, I had a shower.
We're all sorted, ready for dinner.
We quickly come around the corner to the den,
which is like a kid's club where you can leave your kids
at selected times during the day,
but you can use it between like 7 or 9 a.m and 5 and 7 p.m supervised.
So that's what we've done.
We've come here before dinner,
but dinner is in a couple of minutes.
So we're going to head there in a sec.
But having such a nice time,
but obviously George touched on it earlier.
We do want to quickly talk about our situation
that we were going through with our property.
Oh God, yeah.
Property, what's the B word?
Property problem.
Property problems.
Potential property problems.
Prominent property problems.
And while we stopped talking about property
all together on the vlog for the last few months
after talking about it quite a lot.
And the reason we're away on these trips quite a lot lately
is we're a little bit over it, I think the phrase is.
Very frustrating.
So essentially we came on the vlog a couple of months ago,
I don't know when it was,
one of the vlogs I spoke about it
saying that we were selling our property in the UK.
Our house, the house you guys see us living in the vlogs
for the last, I don't know, we've been in there like two,
over two years I would say now in that house.
Basically what we could class as our dream house came up.
It was about an hour away from where we currently live.
It was unbelievable.
It was the dream.
The garden was like a field.
It was over half an acre.
Like it was land.
Yeah.
Our building, it had...
Like massive double garage.
It had like forever home potential.
Which we never say.
No, we never say that.
We always say we're going to keep moving, keep moving
and we can't ever imagine ourselves settling down,
but that felt real.
That would, yeah.
In the middle of the countryside with fields around us.
It was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful setting.
It was our dream.
Um, loads of bedrooms like we could have all friends and family to stay
and we got excited.
So we got talking to like the team that Lucy and I work with
in terms of financial advice, accountants, all of this stuff.
Worked out what we could do.
Wealth management, all that kind of stuff.
And they were like, yeah, you can do it.
We were like, we can get that house.
They're like, yeah, everything looks good.
Here's my buddy.
It's been a while.
They were like, there's like no issues with you getting this house.
If you can just sell your house, put an offer in
and go through that whole process.
So we were like, cool.
Last time we sold a property in the UK, it flew.
It sold in three days.
Um, which was our, if you've been watching a while,
it was the flat we were in that we also renovated
when we first moved back to the UK from Asia.
That property sold so quickly.
So we just, we were like, okay, that'll probably happen again.
We've also renovated this house.
We've added value.
We've put, we've made money on it.
There's no way this house won't sell.
Turns out guys, currently a little bit difficult to sell property in the UK.
We went on the market.
We tried to sell.
We had about three people over the span of around two months
come and look at the house.
Oh, we got it ready.
Like every time it took hours and hours of our time,
time away from work,
time away from like taking Koda out for fun stuff
and just time that we didn't have to make the house look really nice.
Every single time we had a viewing, no one was interested.
No one wanted our house.
It's just a sign of the market in the UK right now.
It's frustrating.
We waited, we waited, we waited, nothing.
We were checking the other house, the dream property.
We were checking that every single day.
It was still there for ages and ages.
Equally, that wasn't selling.
So we were kind of like, okay, look, we can wait.
We can be patient.
We then check again a few weeks later, sold.
The dream house had sold.
And we were surprisingly by that point, kind of over it.
We were disappointed, but we weren't upset.
We had got our heads around the fact that like this house isn't selling.
It's going to be a lot of hassle to try and actually make this work.
We've just had Remy actually packing up, moving house,
moving like over an hour away from family.
Equally comes with difficulties because we're really close to our family.
They really help us out a lot with kids and not as far as childcare.
We don't have like a set day a week
that like our parents have Coda or Remy or anything like that.
But just being around family or saying,
hey, we need to go and do this.
Can we drop Coda with you for an hour?
Yes, mate.
Mate, I would love some dinner.
It's actually, it's five minutes past our dinner slot.
So we do need to go.
So I'm rambling on yet again.
Vlogs.
Is this going to be a 47 minute vlog again?
Oh, thank you very much.
I feel like I'm in, I thought I was a spoon.
Definitely thought I was a spoon, it's a baguette.
I thought I was in Goldilocks.
So yeah, guys, that is kind of the update.
So sorry for not following up because we got all excited.
Like we're selling the house and we were, good boy.
We were speaking about it loads and getting excited
and then we were like, we'll tell you everything.
And then we just stopped talking about it because of this waiting period.
But we can now tell you that essentially nothing has happened
and nothing is happening.
So I thought we're going to have a huge announcement
like the new house and all the renovating on that.
Not that it needed much, but I was thinking home gym.
I was thinking music studio.
I was thinking a huge like carport for like the cars
and building stuff for Koda in the garden,
like tree house, trampoline, whatever he wants.
Like a massive obstacle course.
We had like space and land to do all these crazy ideas
and it would have been epic, but it will happen.
If things don't go your way the first time, just know
what's meant for you will come.
There's a phrase I heard and it was something like that.
I think it was, what is meant for you will not pass you by.
So it's just not our time right now.
Yeah, just wanted to update in the vlog.
If anyone has been in a similar situation, let us know.
You know, if things don't go the way often,
it means better things are coming
and that was not the path you were supposed to go down.
So never worry about it.
What I am worried about now is that we're now seven minutes past our dinner slot.
So we're going to go get some food.
Struggling to get Koda out of here because he loves it so much.
Bless him.
Just quickly whilst we wait for him.
Doesn't this just look like something?
Oh yeah!
Doesn't this just look like something out of a movie?
Or like a Netflix series or something?
It's just stunning.
Koda's agreed to leave if he can ride to the door on this.
So I thought that's fair enough.
Oh dear.
Koda, this is lovely for dinner.
And you've got a special one over there.
Oh, you've got a chair here.
Do you want a high chair or do you want a normal chair?
I don't know if you'll fit in there actually now.
Yeah, that'll be great.
So this pot comes off.
Let's let the man do it.
That's a good idea.
Cheeseburger.
Yeah!
So the menu looks incredible.
I'm already eyeing up the sourdough and salted butter.
And the soup of the day maybe.
I'm then looking down to the burger.
Because oh man, I mean, oh potentially the steak.
Oh or the chicken souvlaki.
Koda's burger has arrived.
And this is potentially the best kids burger I've ever seen.
No, I'll take one.
I'm not taking it mate, don't worry.
He's like daddy, daddy likes to look at that.
I'm in danger here.
No mate, that is all yours.
You enjoy.
Excuse me.
Oh yeah, nice chips.
Are they good?
I'll just try a small one instead.
Nice?
Yeah.
Should we call this Koda's food review?
And you have to try something and tell us if it's yummy or yucky.
Thank you very much.
Yeah, amazing, thank you.
Wow, thank you.
Nice, do your special kids one mate.
Not fizzy.
You can take that bit off mate.
Take off if you want.
Not spicy, good.
Maybe the icy bit.
We have mocktails all around here.
Lucy and I really do not drink anymore.
So even when we're like offered it, we just don't have alcohol.
But having like a mocktail in a nice glass that kind of looks like a cocktail is really nice.
So starters have arrived.
I've got the cheese souffle here.
Ow, bloody hell that's hot.
We've got some sourdough with butter.
And then we've got the cod cheeks.
And it all looks great.
Dessert has arrived.
We've got a massive tiramisu.
A delicious looking chocolate orange tart.
And Koda over there has a...
Try some of this.
It's really dry.
Really dry.
It is isn't it?
I know what you mean.
But he means that.
It's like light.
Yeah, yeah, I know what he means.
Nice mate.
He's got the banana split.
Okay, that was a horrendous night, wasn't it?
Koda woke up at 4.40 having been asleep at 9.
Yeah, yeah.
So he's had like no sleep.
That's interesting.
Remy woke up every hour.
We're feeling a bit worse for worse this morning.
This gives me like that feeling of when we'd be...
Up for a boat trip.
Some...
Yeah, just bring a story.
Sorry, sorry.
Yeah, back in the day.
You can explain it if you want.
At El Nido.
Yeah.
Up at 4am for a boat trip.
Never was 4am, it was probably about 7am.
We met at 1am after editing the vlog.
It was probably about 7am.
It felt like 4am.
I know because we didn't...
Yeah.
Yeah, but anyway, we're here in the beautiful restaurant.
I don't want to like film other people and their kids and stuff.
I can hear that baby.
Can you hear the baby?
Yeah.
This is such a good place to stay as a family.
Lucy and I were saying this is the kind of place that like you come to and it's posh,
it's high-end, it's lovely.
And usually if you have kids you're kind of like,
oh I hope that they're not too noisy or like disrupt people.
The kind of place we wouldn't come for that reason
because we don't like to try and quieten down our kids.
Oh, oh.
What was that?
It was a piece of butter but I rolled it by accident.
Oh my god, rolling butter.
But because this is actually...
The purpose of it is set up for families.
Everyone here is a family, it's parents, it's kids, it's...
We were in this like really like posh swimming pool yesterday
and there's just kids splashing about so you don't worry.
Normally you'd be like, oh gosh, sorry, my child's splashing.
Why is she like...
Yeah.
That's why I just said we just wouldn't go.
Yeah, you wouldn't go or you'd just like feel a bit awkward.
Yeah, so for parents looking for that, of course you can.
Well, we're gonna get some toast again.
So for parents looking for like a higher-end stay or getaway,
like dinner last night, just a super beautiful setting.
Really, it's like borderline fine dining
but all the tables around, there's parents with kids.
So you feel super at home, you feel very relaxed being a parent
and you're not worried about your kids making noise and stuff like that.
Continental breakfast and then you can order like stuff if you want.
It's on Eggs Benedict and full English.
They've got pastries, jam, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt.
Yeah, Lucy has requested that some more sourdough comes out
because that is what we need this morning.
And quickly just to clarify because I think it's important
when you're watching a vlog like this
because we said yesterday we have been invited here
but they have not told us or asked us to say anything.
Everything we're saying is our own opinion.
They don't invite us and say like,
make sure you say how good it is for families.
I just wanted to get that across.
Everything you hear us talk about has come from us.
Here you go.
Oh, thanks.
You've ruined my joke.
That was, I was going to take it and put...
Do you know what I actually could do with that?
Yeah.
Just joking.
No, no, no, you've had one already.
You've already eaten a whole butter
which we're fine with because butter is healthy.
Unlike the pepper pink thing, isn't it?
Yeah, there was this Peppa Pig game
and it was like, choose the healthy food
and it put butter as unhealthy.
We disagree with.
Oh, you!
Are you trying to purposely get me?
I think you are.
Yeah, so we are now in the garden.
We finished up our breakfast.
Koda!
Don't you think you're supposed to throw it in the bush?
And they've got this really nice garden here.
They had some archery up there
which Lucy was just terrible at.
It's the worst.
I've just got a bullseye.
Oh, on your fourth go.
Second go and I'm only a baby.
Okay, fair enough.
That wasn't actually too bad.
Head in.
That's a beach.
The beach is just down here after the garden.
Okay, go on then.
Okay, very good.
Okay, we're just wandering down from the house
on our way to the beach
and we've just come across this amazing park.
Oh yeah, there's a zipline over there.
Treasure chest!
Careful, that might be slippy, mate.
Just take it easy.
Okay, yeah, very slippy.
There's a slide over there.
Wow.
It's only just dawned on us that what goes down must go up
if you're staying where we're staying.
We've come right down now
and it's going to be a very interesting walk up later with these two.
But anyway, that's a future George and Lucy problem.
But look at this, we've come to this cove.
Is it a cove?
Which one?
Ready Money Cove.
And it's stunning.
Well, this isn't actually it.
The next one's the other corner.
Oh, okay.
So apparently this isn't it, but I will show you anyway
because it looks pretty cool.
And we were just saying,
would we rather be here a couple of months ago in the summer
with the sun and stuff?
Potentially, yes.
But I think it would be a completely different experience.
We're actually really enjoying this weather,
this kind of atmosphere,
this, I don't know, it's got a certain feel to it.
It is very much giving ITV, drama, Broadchurch kind of vibes.
Yeah, getting our steps in.
According to my Garmin, four and a half thousand steps already.
Looks pretty good for the day.
It's nearly halfway for the whole day
and it's only 11am, so that's really good.
Getting some exercise, getting Coda some exercise.
He really needs it more than ever at the moment.
We're noticing like his age and stuff.
Oh no, not like he needs it.
He needs it, the amount he eats,
which is also true actually.
He's a great eater.
And speaking of food,
we are probably going to try and get lunch down at the beach as well.
This is very nice.
It's a bit weird being on a sandy beach in big boots and rain gear.
However, it's never not nice being on a beach any time of year
in any kind of conditions really, I think.
You get the fresh air.
You get the sound, yeah, you get the sound of the waves.
You get some peace and tranquility, I find.
Don't know about you.
Very good, mate.
Okay, so we had a really nice time in the town.
I don't think we filmed anything
because it was basically trying to stop Coda from stealing things and shots.
But it was really nice.
We bought him a jumper that says...
Oh, so we're saying it wrong.
It's obviously about the exercise, so sorry about that.
If we're going forwards, we'll say it properly.
So it had that on the top.
It said a four-year Cornwall, a bag that had the same,
and an old scarf, really nice to take, with some meat and cheese.
I got the boys their own bed.
George and I can have a little nibbly dinner.
And oh, they got a brownie and a carrot cake
from the Ringless Cornish Bakery.
Beautiful little town.
I've really enjoyed it.
So hilly.
We've done like 10,000 steps all up the hill.
I had Remi, my boy, stuck to me the whole time.
And now we've got the swimming pool completely to ourselves.
So we're going to take it and turn swimming with the boys.
And one of us is going to go into the steam room, which is just amazing.
Yeah, so nice.
Remi's very excited for another swim.
Good morning, guys.
Just obviously set the camera up, hit record,
ran back out and walked back in to do that.
A little bit of vlogging magic there for you.
We are on our last morning.
I'm just doing my hair, which is the final thing to do.
We are pretty much all packed up.
And sadly, we're leaving this amazing place.
It has been the best stay.
It has been amazing.
It's been autumnal.
It's been relaxing.
It's been, I don't know, it's made us feel good.
This place is a really nice place to spend time here, the round the grounds.
We went into the small town, the actual town yesterday.
And we actually didn't film much, mainly because we couldn't hold the camera.
We had so many bags.
We did some shopping.
I ended up having to carry Coda because he got really tired.
It was uphill a lot of the way.
Lucy had Remi for the whole morning in the baby carrier.
And then with all our other bags and stuff that we had to carry, we just could not vlog.
See, in the mirror, my hair looks kind of okay.
And then I've just looked in this screen and it looks like a bird's nest again.
The way my barber did it at the end of my haircut the other day was so good.
He was putting all this bit out.
I'm trying to recreate that, but you can never really see the back of your own hair.
But I don't know, maybe something like that we'll have to do.
But our plan now is we're leaving here and then we're driving a couple of hours.
We're going to go and spend a couple of nights with some friends just to chill,
just to relax off camera.
Lucy will show you a couple of the things we bought in the town yesterday.
Because it was one of those small towns that is kind of like all small independent shops,
which we just love.
And we would way rather spend money in those kind of shops than like high street stores.
Because you're kind of supporting someone's business.
I mean, we literally met the owner and her son.
They moved here six years ago and started a business.
This is how long it takes me to get my hair right, by the way.
I've been chatting this whole time and still playing around with my hair.
Never satisfied.
But eventually you get to the point where you're just like,
you'll have to do, just have to leave it there.
I think that's all right.
Oh, I've got one of these mirrors.
I've got one of these mirrors.
So maybe I can try and do my little, you know, like at the end of a haircut when they...
Yes, I can actually see the back.
This is what I need to get home then.
I can now see the back of my head.
It's hard to get the right angle.
Lucy just said, George, stop vlogging.
This is so boring.
So dull.
Dull means boring.
Lucy, it's not dull.
Okay, nothing.
What is dull about having a mullet?
Nothing.
Right.
There you are.
You can see yourselves now.
All these years of YouTube and we're still using shaving foam today as the tripod.
So we've got this bag, which is so nice.
It's like a chuck everything in bag.
It's massive.
It has the tan we're staying on and like the quality is just lovely.
It's massive.
Oh, Koda.
This was Koda's choice.
He wanted to get this.
I think this looks like the Acne Studios scarf, which is just crazy expensive.
This was like £25.
Amazing.
And Koda was like, it's a blanket.
And I was like, no, it's a scarf.
And he was like, oh, I want it.
And I was like, well, we don't really need it.
But he was like, no, I want to get it for mummy as a surprise.
He was so sweet.
Wanted to get his mummy a present.
So George was like, do you want it actually?
Because George had to check me that I actually liked it.
And I was like, yeah, I do like it.
Yeah.
And then the final thing we bought was Koda's jumper, which he is wearing.
And this is the jumper.
This is the jumper we got Koda.
Really nice.
Says the town on it.
2025.
You like the colour, don't you?
Tuck you back in.
All right.
Sorry, you were busy, weren't you?
And just like that, it is the next day again.
We are at our friend's house now.
And I'm going to switch off the camera here.
Going to enjoy some quality time with some good friends that we haven't seen for a very long time.
And just thank you all for watching today's vlog.
So if you enjoyed it, please give it a thumbs up.
If you're in the UK, check out...
We've been saying it wrong, by the way.
It's not Foie.
It's spelt Foie.
But you're supposed to say Foie.
Apologies to anyone watching the vlog who's from that area.
And they're like, you've been saying our town wrong this whole time.
We just didn't know.
But there we go.
So check out Foie Hall.
Definitely will leave it linked in the description.
Especially if you're a family.
We'll pick up the camera again for another vlog very, very soon.
But until then, hope you have a good rest of the week, rest of the weekend.
It's Saturday for us now.
So whatever you're up to, hope you have a good one.
And we'll see in the next video.
Bye.
