Went out for a fish and to soak some pots with a good mate… got a few crabs and fish and saved a boat that had waved us down!! Always happy to help out!! Enjoy the video legends!!
G'day, g'day, g'day. Welcome back to another episode of NQ Fishing with Curry.
Oh, a bit of a bust up in the mangroves over there. Today we've got the special guest,
old Jackie boys back. Just going to chuck some pots in, got the dirty old mullet heads,
got a couple of cod frames and whatnot to chuck in them later, but there we go. We'll go chuck
these in, get some bait and go get some bosh. So here's what we're doing today.
We're going to chuck four pots up along here, but there's a couple of pots already that beat us to
it. Early bird gets the worm, yeah, hoik him over Jacko. We'll sneak over these flats. Oh,
straight to croppy. Yeah. Bombs away. Tied, tied. Crocodile Creek is that away. Let's get it.
Again, the hat on this bloke, eh? He pulls it off. Oh, where he used to play. I'll show you
the get up he rocked up at my place at five o'clock. I'll show you a bit later on. It's a
******* show. Party's in the water. We have done our wilderness taming for the day,
so we had to come back here and collect. Look at this. Just love going into tiger country,
what do you reckon about it, Jack? Good stuff or what? I'd like to talk to you,
but my eyes are poked out. But we'll get the dog. That's why it's starting off.
I wouldn't bring a painted boat up here. Wouldn't be much paint left once you got out of here.
All right, let's go get some bait and get some lines in the water.
Like getting a conversation out of two tampons,
mate, you'll get nothing because they're both tucked up, can't say.
Coming to a little string of trees, get some bait, plenty of herring out on the flats,
but I want to get some moolah, got to get the baits, get the good fish. So we've got Jacko
on the cast net, the cunk and throw one, but I'm just recalling, just hoping he's going to get
that banana just for the views, you know, it's way more fun. Banana it right up. In between these
two trees on the left there, Jacko, just throw it over the small mangrove bits. Yeah, after this
bigger tree and before the other bigger tree, just throw in the middle of them. He's still got it.
Please be a salmon though, that'll be all right. Maybe just get that net ready just in case, Jacko.
Good fish.
Huck it's heavy, might be a shark.
Sure is, don't worry about the net. Yeah, bring him around this way, get away from them lines.
That's the last fish we catch here, bud. We're pulling anchor. Can you just grab pliers,
blue handle, it might be in that bucket, but it's the blue handle pliers, I'm not even bringing them in the boat.
Oh, big one.
In three bungs, with old Jacko, and it's beer o'clock. Cheers, butter. It's only
eight o'clock in the ******* morning, but we thirsty.
Oh yeah, I know you did. Rocked up in my place in, actually I'm not going to tell you,
I'll get up, I'll show you, I'll show you, you'll see it. Let's see some action, hey?
Just caught another big bloody dirty shark. Caught a few trumpeters.
Hey, hey, here's some big turtles up here. I know there's some big women that rock her through
but there is some big turtles rocking through. We're just on the weed beds
at the Mona Coco and Crocky, gonna make a move shortly, go check one of the pots and we'll see.
A little bit of go, a bit of bit of tea leaf, you watch, tea leaf trooper.
Come back around that motor, please. Thank you, sir.
Thanks for your help, Jack. Appreciate that.
Oh, tell you what, it's not a bad Trevor. It's definitely a Trevor.
There he is.
Little tea leaf for you. Break the boredom. Think we might make another move to one of the old
finger mark spots.
More out here for the crabbing though, that's a little tea leaf. Catch up, see you later.
What do you reckon, Captain?
We're over catching trumpeters and sharks, going to check the pots.
We might head back to Alligator and have a fish there. Have a few coldies.
Have a bit of a hydration session, if you will. See you there, eh?
Have a go on this.
That's not even the full get up I got this morning. It's close.
That's why I tell you what, twenty dollars is twenty dollars.
Oh, it's lovely. It's lovely.
We got there in the end.
I reckon there'll be a cod in it.
Any decent? Not even here.
Get there.
You see some boys in need, you ******* give them a hand, eh?
Straight up the bloke offered me a crab for fifty bucks.
So long as they do it when they see some cunning need, that's all you want.
What do you reckon, boys?
The boys here, they run out of fuel.
Just getting them back to the boat ramp now, up here.
Drop them off.
Might be getting towed back ourselves. See how we go.
Yeah, too easy. You'll still be there.
We got them back all sweet. Nailed it on the entry.
See you next time.
A look at this ----.
Let's go, Fushun.
What do we got? Head shakes?
What is it?
Oh, salmon.
Little bluey.
Bring him around the back of the motor here if you can.
Lovely.
Oh, Darvin Mouth, what a bloke.
He is the bloke of blokes.
It'd be legal to bring him over here.
Feed for you if you want him, bud.
They're good friends.
Hammerhead.
Is it?
Yeah.
Got a lion too.
Got two ******* lions.
That's around it.
This cunt was on for a while, bud.
They put up a fight.
Old nighty loves these things.
Pretty small, that polar, though.
All right, last check of the pots.
We're out of here. We're going for a swim and a beer.
Hopefully, there is some rusty ******* mussels in here, eh?
Yeah, too slow.
Rubbish.
Yeah, I think it is.
Easy.
Um, where are we?
Yeah, yeah.
Nothing.
Wow, this is ******* dismal crabbing.
Third pot, last pull of the day, and we've got one crab in the esky.
Three pots left to pull.
But they ain't been in long, so I don't have much hope.
We'll see.
Second last pot of the day.
Let's see if it is going to be fruitful.
Yes, that's a keeper.
Get in, boys.
Lovely.
Oh, we had a bit of a fist.
Just a few salmon, sharks and trevally more than anything, eh?
Kyle, curry.
No, I don't.
Oh, you did me.
Did you do a service on that for me?
No, no, that wasn't you.
Yeah, no.
Peter, is it?
Yeah, right, yep.
Yeah, not too bad, eh?
Yeah.
I'll make a bit of a dismal one out of today, but better than nothing, I suppose.
Yeah, go.
Pete's sitting at home.
You're not going to catch them at home, are you?
Taking the young ones out, eh?
Yeah, man.
Yeah.
Yeah, well, they're not really around where I put them.
Well, I had them at, oh, well, I had what?
Three over Crockie and then two out the front here.
But then I moved the three from Crockie up the creeks here.
And we only got two all day, eh?
What the **** is that rumbling about?
Yeah, well, I thought the rain and that as well, but yeah, nothing.
