Braves vs. Guardians Game Highlights (8_15_25) _ MLB Highlights

It is players weekend in Major League Baseball. It's an opportunity for the players to show some of their personality get to know them players weekend all weekend long as the Guardians open up a three game weekend series interleague style against the Atlanta Braves. Now let's take a look at Joey Cantillo's numbers. Joey is two and two in his seventh start since entering the rotation and Cleveland has won four of those seven starts. So he's done his job and he's coming off a win and we are underway in the first pitch popped up on the infield. Jose Ramirez calls for one pitch one out. You've got to like that. And Matt Olsen with a one out walk. Now he has to face Ronald Acuna Junior out the last 15 games with that right calf strain. Ronald suffered that July 29th in Kansas City but off the I.L. And back in the lineup here tonight. Swing and a miss. He struck him out with the changeup to down on the first starts as a strike. By the time it gets there it is Marcel Osuna he's the D.H. tonight batting clean up the pitch check swing strike three called what a curveball. He has been excellent since he has been back to talk a lot about how things have changed for him and what is going on with this new repertoire. Cajun's moving over has to die and he makes a tremendous catch for out number one. You can see him shake his head. I think that ball might have pulled him off the bat. He wasn't sure how much it was slicing and he had to get after there at the end lays out for it makes a beautiful catch. I think what you saw from Roccio altered kind of what he was doing to get to the baseball. I think when he threw that glove up a little bit the way that he did that sold the umpire on interference. Well who knows if he feels the ball differently. But I think that would have been ruled a hit. Now it turns into a fielder's choice. That's going to happen here. They both belong to Steven Kwan and bring up Daniel Schneeman. And now Schneeman broken back to second. They will get Kwan the lead runner and that will be at one away. Frankly two down for Manzano the cleanup hitter who's been swinging a really hot bat here over the last month. He struck him out seven strikeouts six scoreless a masterpiece tonight for Hurston Waldrop. And what a night it was for Hurston Waldron six inning seven strikeout scoreless baseball. It looks fantastic right. Think about the couple of hits outside of the hard base hit the right field was still a ground ball. The one to left field was not. And that is excellent work. And the confidence just continues to go in the right direction for Hurston Waldron. I'm optimistic right now surrounding that young right hander one out for Matt Olsen one one of the ground ball finds a hole up the middle in the right center field.
