I knew would probably prefer to happen
um in a win but go ahead and talk about
having what is now the longest play in
XFL history so far oh I didn't even know
that was the thing but uh it's pretty
cool
um felt good to get some explosive plays
out there and get them all to our
Playmakers down the field but
obviously didn't do enough to win you
I guess it's Alan from the Allen and
Aaron sports radio show
can you talk about you were able to move
the ball at a lot of points and you did
some a lot of positive things plus
you've got a lot of playing time can you
talk about that positive note yeah it
felt good
um you know when our offense is clicking
I feel like we're hard to stop we have a
lot of Playmakers who can do stuff when
they get the ball in their hands but the
problem is it's been getting the ball to
them so I feel like we need when we're
clicking like I said working on all
cylinders and moving the ball we're able
to uh rest our defense so they can come
out and get a 300 with the ball back to
us but you know when we just kind of hit
those balls in the middle of the game
that's what really really hurts us
hey samsley um how do you game plan and
did you guys know that Houston was going
to come out and throw it in the entire
first half and not test them right you
guys have been pretty strong against the
run this year they just didn't try to
fix it oh
you know just to be honest with you guys
we knew Williams was gonna do uh we know
who they are
they nobody else I mean Who We Are
tough because you know
when we when we were playing hard
you know
and just
seeing the posing team and you know get
all
you know the calls I should say uh you
know it's hard on us especially in the
front setting the
this was supposed to be Army this was
supposed to be
you know our time to go uh but when we
are getting healed hands in the face
grabbed all of the head and the rest
literally looking at you and just
smiling and
you know telling me off stop
living
you know that's
you know that that has happened all
season long and I mean it's something he
got to stop and I mean we all trying to
you know just play a fair game out there
and when we are not getting you know
calls as well that's a problem
so
today to the point of using a referee
actually
told you and those not so nice words to
knock it off yes basically the Warner
Brothers
y'all go Washington downstairs hands in
the face a whole freaking time
ever since
and you know I'm getting my you know New
Deal you know go to the river labor you
know
city of God he keep grabbing put his
hands in my face you know that come on
I'm trying to play you know the right
way the way how the game is supposed to
be played but when we get grabbed I'll
let him looks getting turned
and I mean it is happening this past
couple games all games literally go
watch the family y'all see what I'm
talking about and uh at some point it
has to stop I mean somebody else taking
accountability you know we are trying to
do our jobs you know and uh which is one
fair chance to as well and when the Reps
you know literally you know basically
telling me to stop b i t c h you know
yeah
I can only take so much
uh anything else from these guys
that's what was going through your mind
let's go back to something a little bit
of the positive here but what was going
through your mind when you threw the
bomb and I got that 81 yard touchdown
going through your head it was exciting
um we haven't really hit many big plays
like that this season so we would we
were able to catch him in a look that we
had practiced for where we had two plays
called and if they gave us the look to
go the ball deep then we can get to the
play where we can throw the ball deeper
and they gave us that opportunity and we
were able to protect it and score one
touchdown that's just
as an offense like a big sigh of relief
where you don't have to just drive the
ball down the field to get one big place
or a touchdown you're on the sideline
your defense can go to work so it's
always nice to hit those big plays as an
offense and as a team it kind of Sparks
you
time for one more about it okay sure
you're playing like you try
a lot of the miscues you're having in
games are happening in practice so
where's the discount
oh Miss Hughes just in terms of
penalties oh
yeah I mean I don't know obviously
emotions are different in the game than
they are in practice
um we got a lot of new guys out there
too who are rolling through
um who I who I don't necessarily get a
lot of restaurants in practice I'll get
a couple throws of them but
um you know there's guys out there who
I've got a lot of spend a lot of time
with my Cody and lanceling more too like
I played with Lance in the US as well so
I had a lot of time
Kodiak spent a lot of time though too so
um I think I got here at the end of
training camp too so it's just hard to
build that
um chemistry with those guys when you
don't have a long period of time with
them and I think we're just still trying
to build on it but obviously you're in
the middle of the season and there's no
excuse to not win there's no excuse to
not go out there and score a point so
that's what we'd have to do
thank you thanks guys thank you guys
appreciate it
