🔔 Stay tuned for our Bali Day 4 adventure!
Good morning! Welcome to a new video. We are very excited to share with you our day three in Bali.
A tiring, exciting and yet relaxing day here in Ubud.
Watch until the end of the video to find out why. Let's go!
We started our Bali zoo adventure as the gates opened.
They're open daily from 9am to 5pm.
As soon as we walked through the entrance,
we met some of the friendliest deer and you can actually feed them.
The birds here are super friendly and playful,
showing off their vibrant and colorful feathers, perfect for up-close selfies and photo ops.
Beyond the animal attractions, Bali Zoo Park features a child-friendly playground called
Jungle Splash Waterplay with no additional fee and it's included in the entrance ticket.
And because we were here early, there's no line.
They have a shuttle service to drop the visitors off at the next stop in the zoo.
Now, here's something interesting.
Bali Zoo was built in 2002 and spans over 12 hectares of lush tropical greenery.
The zoo is actually really well designed,
with lush tropical vibes and plenty of shade to walk under, which is a lifesaver in Bali's heat.
Most people go here for breakfast with the orangutans, but we decided to feed the elephants.
They sell a basket full of fruits and veggies which is 100,000 rupiah,
about 10 AUD or 350 in peso.
Each elephant has its own handler that will guide you how you do it.
Their trunks are surprisingly gentle and being this close is honestly unforgettable.
Bali Zoo has such a wide range of animals.
We loved how close you could actually get to see them.
It felt more personal, more interactive and just really fun.
So after all that walking at Bali Zoo, it's the perfect time to grab some lunch.
Welcome to Semar Kuning Resto, one of Ubud's hidden gems for local Balinese food.
The moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nature.
It's honestly so peaceful here.
You get to enjoy your lunch with a stunning view of the rice fields right next to your table.
So it's now 1pm guys and after lunch we're now here at the Satria Luwak Coffee Plantation.
We're gonna do coffee and tea tasting and try Bali's famous Kopi Luwak,
a coffee made from coffee cherries that have been eaten and it's treated by the Asian palm civet.
So here guys, they're showing us how it is being made before they sell it out to the market.
Yeah, that's good for relaxation.
And then we have mochaccino, coffee and chocolate for calm the nerves.
Coconut coffee, good for skin and type treatment.
Ginseng coffee for energy and memory.
And regular Bali coffee, it's good for headache.
That's all it's Kopi, yeah?
Now we start for tea.
Mangosteen tea for antioxidant.
Saffron tea for immune system.
Rosella tea, good for prevent cancer and blood circulation.
Ginger tea, good for digestion, flu and sunstroke.
Rice tea for bones because high in calcium.
Lemongrass tea, good for flu and refreshing your body.
The last one, hot chocolate for happiness.
Happiness, I think I like that.
For the Luwak coffee, a special one.
It's not in here because we cannot serve you Kopi.
If you want to try, you have to pay only Rp 55,000 per month.
This one, mangosteen.
But maybe you need to wait for a few seconds because it's too hot.
And we'll set the Luwak coffee.
Luwak coffee.
It's the best coffee in the world, but not exactly.
We're gonna get the ginseng coffee.
Put that in there and then you finish it.
So they pick from the tree, they pick by themselves.
Because they're picky.
Okay, please have a look.
We can start from here.
Mangosteen with sugar in here.
470 and plus one cup of Luwak coffee at the table.
470 plus one cup of Luwak coffee, Rp 55,000.
The total is going to be Rp 525,000.
You will pay cash or by card.
So here we go, guys.
We are finally here at Fun ATV in Ubud.
If you're coming to Bali and want pure adrenaline,
this ATV ride in Ubud is a must.
If you love adventure, you're gonna love this park.
See you later.
No later, tomorrow.
So our friendly driver, Kadek,
booked us in for a tandem ATV tour package for a discounted price.
We paid Rp 1.4 million for the tandem ATV,
while a single ATV costs Rp 1.3 million.
You can check their website, Fun ATV Bali,
and book online or you can just go there directly.
So according to the locals,
the optimal season for ATV riding in Bali is during the dry season,
which typically runs from April to October.
Bali has two main seasons,
the dry season, which is from April to October,
and the rainy season, which runs from November to March.
Each season offers a unique experience for ATV riders.
Before the ride, they gave us boots, helmets,
and a quick demo on how to drive the ATV.
It's beginner-friendly, so even if you've never tried this before,
you'll be fine.
So the ride takes you out through the streets with a guide.
We started off nice and chill, driving through flat tracks.
It's a great warm-up before things get messy.
There are a few rough rocky sections on even ground
and mild downhill stumps where you'll need to control your speed.
Nothing too scary, it's all manageable even for beginners,
and it does give you that thrill of real off-road riding.
Some parts of the ride open up to wide paths
with lush green rice fields on both sides.
It's such an incredible view to enjoy Bali's amazing countryside.
So this is where the fun begins.
The road quickly turns into mud trails and water-filled fields.
And yes, you will splash through them.
Expect your clothes and shoes to be soaked and splattered with mud.
You'll get dirty, but honestly, that's the point.
That's what makes it fun.
One of the best things about traveling is the people you meet along the way.
We weren't just riding an ATV.
We were sharing laughter with people from different countries,
different backgrounds, all chasing the same interests and thrill.
There's something really special about riding side by side with strangers
who quickly start to feel like friends.
Splashing through water, sliding through muddy trails,
all of us laughing every time someone gets stuck or drenched.
It's those unexpected connections from the people you don't know.
They cheer with you, the shared laughter,
those proud moments after conquering a tough track.
This reminds us that travel isn't just about the places you see,
but the people you meet and the joy you share.
Our tour guide is amazing too.
Super friendly, encouraging, and made sure everyone felt safe and included.
Hi, friend!
So we are now heading to a tunnel carved into rock.
Our guide let us take our time through here so we could really soak in the moment.
We'll also ride straight through a man-made waterfall.
Round and round the world we'll go
Putting on the greatest show
So make sure that you don't miss out, just be there
We're taking our shot, bring what you've got
We're going all the way to the top
We will hear the sound of one million people
Screaming our names when we're backstage
We'll play loud, surfing the crowd
Everybody's jumping around
Yeah, that's the place where I wanna be
Going on stage and live on a Saturday night
I'm gonna quit my job
Never wanna have no vibes
I just wanna play my rock and roll
Like they do on the radio
Tommy's got brand new drums
And I still have my old guitar
And John said this next song's gonna be real good
If you know what I mean
Round and round the world we'll go
Putting on the greatest show
So make sure that you don't miss out, just be there
We're taking our shot, bring what you've got
We're going all the way to the top
We will hear the sound of one million people
Screaming our names when we're backstage
We'll play loud, surfing the crowd
Everybody's jumping around
Yeah, that's the place where I wanna be
Going on stage and live on a Saturday night
Oh, oh, oh, Saturday night
I don't know how to do it, but I'm going to try it anyway.
You're in Ubud, Fun ATV!
If you're looking for something different, fun, and full of energy, this is it.
Add Fun ATV in Ubud to your Bali must do list.
Go for it, Owei!
Go for it!
So after about an hour and a half, we're heading back now to the site to wash our boots and
clean up.
And honestly, this is one of the most exciting outdoor activities we did in Bali.
Would you do this ride?
Let us know in the comments.
So after our Fun ATV ride, it's already 4 p.m. and we're going to chill at Sari Timbul
in Ubud.
This is our last activity for the day.
As soon as we walked in, we were surrounded by misty ponds and incredible sculptures made
from wood and glass.
There's a massive root carving that frames the entrance, perfect for those magical Instagram
shots.
Sari Timbul offers a sanctuary for those looking to explore, relax, and get inspired by Bali's
rich heritage.
It's a perfect mix of Bali culture, creativity, and sustainability.
They are open daily from 7 to 6 p.m.
An entry fee starts at around 50,000 rupiah, ideal for families, couples, and anyone looking
to enjoy Bali's creative side in a serene setting.
Very Instagrammable, guys.
It's very nice here, see, look at that.
Having a dip into the pool is kind of the best way to end our day.
So if you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush gardens and stunning landscapes,
make sure to include Sarit Timbul in Ubud on your Bali bucket list.
There's a lot of snow this night.
We're after this night.
So this may be the most tiring, exciting, and yet relaxing day of our stay in Bali.
From its wildlife and local food to adrenaline-pumping adventure and rich culture.
A perfect mix of energy and calm, making it the most memorable one yet.
It honestly felt like the most well-rounded day of our trip here in Bali.
That's it for Day 3, guys.
