Welcome everyone. We're going to do a tropical arrangement today. We have this oasis that's
already soaked in here and we're going to tape it down using this ball tape and secure it.
And we're adding an aralia leaf in a 90 degree angle on the side here.
Add some tea leaves, fold them in backward and staple them so they will stay in place.
And the second one also the same way. We're going to just add it.
Take out excess leaf sizes and cut it to the size and as you see the formation of the design.
Then add the bird of paradise. The first one and let's add the second one. Cut it
to the right size and it's pretty much like a zigzag shape. Cut the third one.
And I will turn this arrangement around so you can see the look of it in a second. There you go.
And let's add a few more birds of paradise.
And one more and this is the last bird we're going to add.
So let's just cut it to the size and just put it there and then we're going to add liatris.
It's going to go right behind the bird, the tallest one and the second liatris.
And we're going to add one more. So let's add this last one.
Okay let's add some orchids. We have this purple dendrobium orchids.
And take the excess blooms off the bottom so we have enough
stem to insert into the oasis. Add a few more.
So we have approximately about 10 stems of these
orchids inserted into the just one side of the design opposite to liatris.
And just add a few more.
So now we're going to add a safari sunset. We cut them kind of I would say about 10 inches or so
tall and insert them right in the opening right between the birds and the front of the design.
So add a few more.
Coloring added and we're adding some more and then we're going to add the pincushions.
So we're going to add two more pincushions on the very front kind of facing right straight to us.
So kind of short and the next step is to add
dianthus. So let's add a few more dianthus to cover up the very front of the design
and cover any kind of mechanics of the design so it will look very natural.
So as we add these one final one I guess we're going to add one more here.
And that's it. It's done and let's just add one more. I think it needs one more.
And we're going to add some hypericum. It's like a pink hypericum.
Just a few here and there. Let's take out the excess leaves on the stem that's going to be
inserted into the oasis but leave the stem leave the leaves on the top so you kind of have that
natural look. So we have some lily grass. So you can grab three four stems of those
and even out the heads and then do a little tie. Like a tie in a knot and just cut the
even them up at the bottom and cut them so we can insert it on the side that the actress
is designed at.
Now we do we're going to do this like a few times like maybe four of these
lily grass ties. This is the second one. One more.
As you see just tie them like a knot and just pull on both sides and kind of secure it
and insert it into the oasis. Okay now we're going to fill out the back of the design
and the empty and also on the front if there's any kind of gaps that we can fill. We're going
to use salal to do this and just first start from the front and fill all those little gaps
on the front so we don't see the oasis and the foam and after that we turn around and
we fill out the gaps in the back. Okay and this salal also called lemon leaf. It's one of my
favorite greens. Very long lasting. Very easy to work with and this is the final product.
I hope you like this. Have a great day!
