Parma Adventures: Haunted Homes, Burger Wars, Horse Ranch and Winery

[Music] Welcome back to Alo Adic Adventures. Today I'm in a small town called Parma, Parma, Idaho. Uh right next to Wilder. I did I did a video uh during the summer on uh Wilder. So this is right next door. And there's about 2100 people that live here. And currently downtown right now, downtown Parma. And what I'm going to do is show you some of the some of the things that we do in Parma since we've been back in Idaho. Enjoy. Okay. So, right here is called the Vault, Beans and Brews. And this is a cafe that I like to go. It's an old bank. That's why it's called the vault. And you can see it looks like a drive-thru teller right there. Um, and here it is. Coffee Beastro. And I'll just go in here and show you real quick. Oh, it's closed. Oh, okay. They just closed. Okay. Sorry about that. Okay. So, next door there's a a country western outlet store, retail store. It's called Bar 20, and you can buy cowboy hats, uh, cowboy boots, apparel. So, let's go in then check it out. Hello. >> Hello. It's the only one we actually go to every once in a while. And uh tell you, sure. store there. >> And it's kind of high prices in there, but sometimes you have no choice. Okay, next up. And look, you get pumpkins. So, it's 39 39 cents a pound. I'd say this is like this is probably 10 lb. So that would be about four bucks. It's not bad. Some of them are like this one here. Oh yeah, that's about 30 or 40 lb right there. Okay. Okay. Next up, you have a a hardware store called True Value. So, if you need to fix something for your home, some repairs or yard work, this is where you go. True Value Hardware store in Parma. Got a pizza place over there. Never been there actually. Chiropractor, chiropractic. And then we got the one gas station in town. It's called Chevron. And we're looking at $349 for gas and Parma for unled selfs serve. Diesel $375. If you get a car wash, 339 for gas. It's not bad. You got to wash your car anyways. Okay, there you go. Okay, next up, uh they have two hamburger stands in the town of Parma. Uh one is called Appalooy's Diner up there and then the other one is called I think it's called the Burger Joint right over there. So, let's go check it out. Um, Lucy, the owner, I think it's a familyun operation. Super nice. About as friendly as you can get. So, we I come here all the time. Sorry. [Music] So, here's the inside. There's usually a line to get in. >> Yeah, it's really good prices. Usually for a hamburger, you can get it for like $9. It's really good. And it comes with fries. Okay, next up we're going to go we're going to go next door. Okay, so we're at the burger joint and I think it's equally popular. I I think Lucy's might be a little bit more popular, but there's always a lot of cars here. And uh I've never gone here because my parents said they don't like the burgers. So, but they do have hot pastrarami, which I love. And they have a bison burger. So it's home of the bison burger. Here's the Indian. So how much would a bison burger? Okay. So cheeseburger $10. 12 for a double. Strawi sandwich $15. $13. Okay. So, good prices. But, you know, honestly, Lucy's a little bit less expensive, but they might here. It might be more meat, but let's go look inside. >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Yeah. Where's Where's your bison burger? >> Well, we just have bison. You can get any burger as bison. Um, the bison burger is $14 and I don't know if it's bigger, but the Lucy's for a burger is $8.95. So, they're charging like another dollar or two and then another $4 for the bison meat. So, I'm going to actually try it. Not right now, but I will try it. I'm I'm uh very curious. Okay, so next up, we're not actually supposed to be here. So, no no no trespassing. We're at a uh Gatya doesn't want to go. She's she's too scared. Supposedly, there's a haunted house right across the street here. um like three different couples or families had purchased the home and moved in and within a month or two they moved out and sold it. And so now the house is uh vacant and it says no trespassing and I'm very very curious. I'm going to let's go in. I want to check it out. >> Wait, wait, wait. >> I want to check it out. >> Okay, let's do this. So that's the house there. there. It's a very nice house. Looks like that's their mailbox. You can see says no trespassing. Kind of an old sign. I don't know how long it's been here, but let's go in check go. We'll check through the windows and see what it looks like. Supposedly, it's haunted. At least that's what my mother says. There used to be a tree there. nice door windows. Yeah. And a nice fireplace. Looks like the hardwood floors are made out of oak. They have a nice chandelier there. That's nice in here. Wow. Let's go. Let's go around the other side. Let's go check it out. Yeah, it's two stories. It's probably has at least three or four bedrooms. It has a basement down below. Nice yard. You can't really see inside there, but the windows are brand new. Double pane windows. I mean, it's a nice home. Probably close to 3,000 square meters. But nobody wants to live here. Nobody. If anybody watching this that's from Parma and they know what's know what's going on with this house, reach out to me. I'm very curious. Yeah. Looks like there's probably the master bedroom up there. You got an attic. Yeah. Yeah. Nice porch. Put a couple trees here. here for a lawn. This will be very, very nice. Well, there you go, guys. It's the haunted house. At least that's what my mother thinks cuz nobody wants to live here. Once they move in, they move right out. All right, let's go. Let's go on to something else. Okay, we're still we're still in Parma. Um, and I came across a well, it's called Treetop Ranches right there. Treetop Ranches. And from what I figure it's they breed the horse breeders. This is huge. It goes actually way down. And I I think those houses be on there part of the property and you come over here. There's horses. Not not many horses, but there's some horses right in there. It's a nice nice little pond here. I mean, this is multi-million dollar estate. This is probably worth $20 million if I if I had to get maybe more. Maybe more. But uh let's let's go down. I'm going to go down farther and I'll show you another part of the ranch. Heat. Heat. front front of the uh the raft. Can't go inside. Okay. I hope you guys uh appreciated that. It's an amazing estate. So, I had to I had to like try to show that to you guys. Uh, next up, and it'll be the last stop, we're going to go to Parma Wine, Parma Ridge Winery, and uh, we can go in there with with Obie the dog, and you can either get a glass of wine or you can get a beer cuz it's a brewery as well. So, let's do this. Okay, so now we're at Parma Ridge Winery. It's up on top of the hill. Not a big hill, but look at the view. We also have a vineyard. Small vineyard here. Look how beautiful that is. Okay. All right. Let's go. Okay. Palmer Ridge. Looks like they live here. Whoever owns it. Um, here we got the Palmer Ridge uh craft beer. It's a brewing company as well.
