The Perfect Tiny House Under 500sqft! // Inside look!

Today we're going to be touring this brand new tiny house right here behind me. I really like the floor plan of this one. It's bright, it's open, it's airy. This place is really cool. Let's check it out. Welcome back to the channel, everybody. This is the fourth cabin by Everwoods that I have featured on this channel. I've loved all of them. They've gotten smaller and smaller with each cabin I featured, and the last one is just next door. But this one is the timber house. It's just under 500 square foot of living space, beautiful interior design, the layout I really love. We'll be exploring that later in this video. Pulling up onto the property, beautiful parking area here in the field, really close by to all the Hawking Hills attractions that you want to visit, and it's really easy access all around this cabin. We're not tucked in the woods somewhere, difficult to get to, nice open area, and this cabin has a cool look to it. I love the Scandinavian element of it with the vertical wood cladding here on the exterior, nice black metal roof, and of course we're all looking at this huge triangular window here in the front. This cabin is pretty long, so you can see the walkway here on the left side. We'll walk up these steps, the door is here on the right side, and we'll walk in and check out the space. We've made it inside the timber house, and immediately, this is one of my favorite floor plans I've featured in a while. That's for a few reasons. Number one, this is under 500 square feet of living space. I love tiny houses, I love small spaces. This one is not too small. We're not making any sacrifices with our living arrangements, we're not combining rooms together. It's still under that 500 square foot mark, so I consider this a tiny house, but it is the perfect, most comfortable size if you're asking me. The living room, the kitchen, the bedroom, it's all very spacious. And number two, this floor plan is elongated. Huge fan of that because it's nice to be able to walk up and down your home, it's nice having your rooms separated. Like I said, we're not combining anything, and I think it makes the space feel larger when it's elongated. There's several other reasons why I like this floor plan, which we'll get into now as we explore the space. When we walk in, we're immediately in the kitchen in your living room space. Very open in here. I love the interior design of the space and all of the other Everwoods cabins. The host is a professional interior designer and I've been a huge fan of all of them. Typically, I don't like everything being white, but the way she does it, it just feels correct. It's light and airy in here. Sometimes you can walk in Airbnbs and it's dark and heavy feeling. This space is very bright and it's very clean, which is very important as well. This kitchen is very large. It's an L-shaped kitchen. Your refrigerator here is on the left side. I love the color cabinetry they chose with the top cabinets and the ones below. Brass fixtures and knobs in here. The sink is on this wall in front of this window and the window's letting in such nice natural light. Very contrasty in here with the light rays coming in. I love it all. It's a very bright kitchen. Nice countertop and backsplash tiling they have in here. Next to the refrigerator, they have a built-in cooktop with a range hood above. If you need to bake anything, they have a portable oven and one of these cabinets you can take out and do a quick bake if you want. They also have several other appliances in these cabinets. It's really, really handy having all of this. Overall, a very clean, bright kitchen space and it's inspiring. It makes me want to cook whenever things are so bright and I can see everything. I might just be saying this because my home is kind of dark, but I'm a huge fan of it. Next to this kitchen is your dining nook slash workspace area. Two beautiful chairs here and I like how it's seamlessly off the kitchen. Eat your breakfast here, eat your dinner, do a little work or something on your computer. Very good space for that. Overall, this kitchen is great and it's connected to your living room. Now, this is the unique shape that we saw out front. This triangular window in this living room takes up this entire wall, so whenever the sun is setting, the sun actually comes in through this window, lets in a lot of great light. We're looking out into the field here and it's just a unique shape for a I have sat in. It is by Pottery Barn. The fabric is ivory. I'm not exactly sure what model it is. Huge fan of that couch, though, if you're looking for a love seat. Highly suggest that. Nice wooden coffee table that takes up the majority of the space in here. It fills in the space really well and your TV is mounted, of course, in front of this. The TV height is absolutely perfect with this couch. You are sitting there looking straight at the TV. Couldn't get any better than that. Overall, this living room is beautiful. It's bright and it's about 10 foot wide, I believe, in here and the kitchen is about 13 foot wide, so that kind of gives you an idea of how wide and spacious this place really is. So, walking out of here now, we have the back half of this floor plan and this hallway on the left side takes us back there. We have an AC unit in here and one in the bedroom. The first door on the right, though, is our full bathroom. The interior design is beautiful in here, as well, with the tiling and the shower, the shower fixtures, the glass wall, the toilet in the middle, and then we have the vanity here on the right side. I love the arched cabinet they have for your toiletries. Always good to see nice arches inside of spaces. So, this is the bathroom space. We'll walk out of this now. The last room is a very spacious bedroom. King-size bed in here, and you can see how much space there is to walk around this king-size bed. So, lots of space in this bedroom and there's two closets. Believe it or not, it's rare to find one closet in a tiny house. Well, there's two in here. One is locked, probably utility closet. The other one has the washer and dryer. So, really great to have a washer and dryer in here, as well. Clever to put it in the closet space in the bedroom. They fit room for everything in here. There's also a water filter and everything in this closet, as well. So, nice to have filtered water here. I love the light fixtures above, and then we have a cool triangular window in here, as well, that lets you look out into your back outdoor space. So, overall, this is over 40 feet long. Some spaces are 10 foot wide, some are about 12 or 13. That's just from my calculations. I could be a little off. So, it's a very comfortable floor plan in here. It is bright, it is airy. Let's walk outside, though, and see what you'd get if you're staying here. Walking out of the timber house, on the back end, we have a small sitting area. This is the window right outside of your bedroom, and up here, we overlook your backyard outdoor space. The backyard space is tucked against this tree line, the meadow all around. You can hear the crickets going right now. It's evening, it's the perfect time to have a bonfire with some s'mores. They leave some wood here for you at the fire pit, and of course, jump in the hot tub. It's up here on the platform, string lights around it, and it's just right behind the cabin. And looking back up at it, it's really cool, even on the backside. There's also a grill out here, I forgot to mention. So, lots of outdoor space to explore, easy access. This is the Timber House by Everwoods. I want to say, you might be familiar with this style of cabin and the manufacturer. Well, this one was custom built, so if you do decide to purchase a pre-built model, it's going to be different than this one. This floor plan is different, the dimensions are different, so I just wanted to mention that. This is a totally custom built one, and I loved it.
