Italy was my last European country before I headed to the Middle East and then Africa. This time I only explored the South of Italy. Alberobello was like walking around in a fairy-tale, in Naples I had a service done on Chillie, in Salerno I witnessed the Le Luci d'Artista light show and installations and just before my departure on a ship to Israel I explored the legendary Amalfi Coast. There were lots of places to go and lots of people to meet during these 7 days!
It was a little bit unplanned, but I'm so glad I stopped in this little village.
How cool is this?
My European journey nearly has come to an end.
Italy is the last country I'll be visiting.
In a few days I'll be catching a ferry from Italy to Israel and then I'll head to Africa.
Here's a little bit of Naples for you.
Chili and a feather.
Okay, it's not a chili, it's actually a horn, but it looks like chili, so I'll take it as my chili.
I can't even explain to you how stressful and full-on last four in Naples were.
Just drama after drama after drama after drama.
I'm not even going there.
Anyway, it doesn't matter.
Hello.
So the person behind me in the previous shot was Antonio.
Antonio is from Salerno and he invited me to his B&B.
Look at this.
I also got a new jumper from the club.
How's that?
Getting spoiled tonight.
Walking to the restaurant, yeah, your restaurant.
It's one of the main roads here in Salerno, which is famous for its lights.
Christmas lights are on now, so.
It's beautiful.
Very impressive.
Some people from all over South and all over Italy.
After a little walk, now we're catching up in the restaurant with all the club guys from the club.
How do you say it?
Chin-chin?
Thank you for having me.
I still have a couple of hours to my ship.
So I met up with guys this morning.
And they're going to show me Amalfi Coast, which is apparently the most epic ride here
in the region in southern Italy.
So yeah, I'm excited.
Let's have a look.
And we made it to Amalfi.
So
this is vlogging behind the scenes.
Sorry, so what's your channel?
Polo?
Yeah.
That's it?
Awesome.
Good stuff.
This is how vloggers look like.
My camera is better than yours.
You've got, can I have a look from here?
Wow.
Lots of cables.
But very good quality sound.
You've got inside mic.
That one.
Yeah.
And you've got power bank here.
Look at these guys.
Really complicated.
Time for selfie.
You guys ready?
Yeah.
So
Look after yourself.
Hope you're going to get a bike soon.
Goodbye.
It was nice to meet you.
Good luck with your vlogging.
Thank you.
I made it to port.
I'm not sure which one is mine.
So this is what I'm going to do.
I'm going to spend seven days on one of those.
You want one?
It's from Albania.
Albania.
Yeah.
This is so cool.
And also, if you like, you can visit the bridge inside when we are navigation.
But with the permission of the master.
You can ask all the officers.
So I'm allowed here, yeah?
Show me your moves.
Nice.
Ta-da!
This is my little room.
Actually, it's not that little.
Let's have a look.
Three people could sleep here.
But this is going to be my bed.
I've got my bathroom.
How good is this?
I've got a desk and chair.
My working space.
I'll be doing lots of writing.
Lots of writing during the seven days.
So yeah.
Apparently, there's only two passengers on board.
I already met a chef and a captain.
And there's some of the crew.
So what volcano is it?
What's the name?
It's Stromboli.
Stromboli?
Is it still...
It's active.
It's not working.
Not working?
Working?
Wow, look at this.
Volcano.
Sicily.
This is how my days on the ship look like.
Lots of coffee.
Lots of vlogging.
I'm so behind.
It's scary.
I need probably three more weeks to catch up on my vlogging.
We are pushed by this little boat.
Bye.
So long, Greece.
Our ship is bigger than yours.
Turkey.
Again.
Thank you.
Yes, perfect.
Thank you.
Oh, wow.
Pasta again.
And pasta again.
I had to get a special permission to enter the bridge.
Autopilot.
So everyone is having lunch.
We made it to Israel.
What's the day?
I don't even know.
Every day is the same.
I wake up, have breakfast and then I do a little bit of work.
And then I have lunch and I have dinner and I go to bed every day.
It feels like I've been here forever but I think it's only been five nights.
I'm so ready to get out of here.
Look at my hair.
It went crazy.
See?
Yeah, that went crazy.
