A medalist from two years ago, Nicholas Paul, former world record holder.
That new world record from Matthew Richardson was Nicholas Paul's time of 10.1.
He lowered, incredibly, down to 8.857 seconds.
Nicholas Paul is still very, very fast indeed.
He's a good tactical rider, but he is up against the master in aerial racing.
Probably absolutely one of the most intense days for him in the world.
Halfway point down the back straight now.
Very slow from Nicholas Paul.
Not trying to stop though, not absolutely trying to force the basin into the lead position.
Now, the track getting too steep at those speeds.
He'll roll down.
Nicholas Paul, up and down, ducking and weaving, aerial racing, trying to force the point here.
And now the pressure has to go on for Nicholas Paul.
Larry LeBlasin, again, climbing the banking, he's come down to the final lap here.
LeBlasin wins here and he's into the final against Matthew Richardson.
Nicholas Paul trying to hold him off down the back straight, but he's got past the shoulders as they got into the final bend.
That's normally the signal that you've done enough to come through and get the win.
So both semifinals, pretty comfortably won, LeBlasin and Richardson.
So they'll go into race for gold and silver.
Larry LeBlasin chasing his 20th World Championship gold medal.
Have to get over the top of...
