So today we are doing the iconic King Kali makeup and it's been a while since I
posted it, so I'm very excited for you guys to see this video!
First, let's start with the eyebrows. I have already applied the primer.
Also, I'm going to reveal the new posters that I've put up on my wall, but since I
broke my tripod, I'm filming with a stack of books, so the
angle is a bit different today! For the eyebrows, we have a new product
today. I'm using this black shade for the eyebrows. If you have less hairy
eyebrows, go for like a brown shade in this palette or
like any eyeshadow palette you have. Don't go super dark in the front, it'll
and soft in the front. And since I have thin eyebrows while making this video,
I'll be making them thick. This can be helpful for y'all who have
less hairy eyebrows. This sounds weird when I say it like that, but we're all
girls here, so it's good! Okay, so mentioning the elephant in the room,
let's talk about my hair! Guys, this is not a wig, just kidding! I
would never dye my hair because I'm not built to have one aesthetic for more
than one week! Okay, so for the eyebrows, do it like
this. You have to make the curve a bit pointy, so you look like an evil
Please leave the front part of your eyebrows alone when doing this.
This is how you're supposed to do it. I've spent my off time from YouTube and
social media into putting all the effort finding the tutorials from Ariel.
If you don't know this diva, he is the makeup artist that works for Kylie
Jenner and has been doing her makeup for a long while.
So all these King Kylie looks that we have been eating up is actually his
skills. He takes a good enough time on the
eyebrows, that's why I am doing it too. Now, use this brush and move them upwards
so it looks more natural. All these brushes are from MISSHO. I'll
link them below. It's like 300 rupees, so I've got you covered for most of your
makeup brushes. Now, you're gonna line them in shape. This is how it's gonna look
natural. Use a spoolie if you have one. So last time when I said this in a video
like a name for you guys, someone said it sounds stupid but I still feel like it's
the best name I could have given you guys. If any of you don't know what I'm
talking about, Jellies was a name I gave you guys so we could feel more connected
because I love you all baddies. See, I still get an itch when someone calls
them my fan. So just say you're a jelly because that would sound more sane to me
and I love jellyfishes so that's where this came from.
Now, I'm going to start with the foundation. Ariel said in one of his
videos that he uses foundation to cover the eyebrows instead of
concealer and I kind of agree with that because concealer gets separated after a
while in such an area. Now, you have to listen to me. If you're a beginner, matte
foundations are a big no because I have seen that matte foundations are much
harder to work with. So leave that thing alone to a professional or to your
future self when you get better with practice. See, I'm dragging the front part
a bit further than usual. We are going to do that. If you want,
join the foundation with both sides of the eyebrow outline. Honestly, this is the
best part. This kind of pays off your hard work or it can ruin the upper part.
Do it carefully. Apply the rest on the eyelids. Don't use
extra product. Also, as I've said in my previous video, a lot of product is a big
no because it can crease. For more product to hold onto your eyelids, you
need like those expensive type of ---- like, you know,
an eye primer. But I've seen celebrity makeup artists say not to use a lot of
concealer on the eyelids. It creases. Now, apply the foundation while you take
the product on your hand. Don't try to be fancy and apply that thing
directly to your face, especially if you have acne or an active breakout. Use a
brush if you want more coverage. This time, my blender was found. Now, my
brush is missing. I don't know how to keep up with this thing at this point.
Apply the product on the skin, then use the blender because when you take the
product from the blender to the face, it takes all the product and this thing
is expensive. Also, tell me why I just found out like a lot of people have two
shades. Like one that matches the face and the other that matches the neck. Like
my cheek is obviously a shade lighter than my neck and this foundation is like
in the middle of it. And I'm wearing a tube top, by the way, so just to let your
mom know if she watches this video. Obviously, I looked in the mirror and
still couldn't see the foundation on my neck. Also, the reason the base looks so
good today is because I used a rice mask right before applying moisturizer. And
special shout out to all the haters that I've been seeing on my comments recently.
It's okay to do some reflection and inner work and then we can all be nice to
each other. For contour, I'm using a light brown eyeshadow. Kai doesn't do a lot of
contour. Instead, she does a bronze look. Now, let's do the baking. I'm using a
powder puff and if you're not thinking of baking, which could be an insult to
2016 makeup, but if you prefer it that way, make sure you dab the puff on your
hand before applying it. So, you know, you can get that minimum look. If you're
wondering where my thumbnail went, you know, I just, I just don't know. These are
croissants. I've applied the product all the way to the area of the eyeshadow
under area, so the face looks sculpted. This part is what Kylie used to do a lot
and I've seen that she takes all the way to the corner of the mouth. This really
defines your cheekbones, so you don't need all that contouring to look sculpted.
Now, use a powder contour. Use an eyeshadow if you don't have one. I'm
literally using a thing used for eyebrows. For blush, I'm using a coral
shade. Ariel said that he doesn't use like one blush. He loves layering makeup,
which I love too. The shade Winter Kiss, which is like a blue tone of blush from
Kylie Cosmetics, is one of her most loved products because she uses that one a lot
as well. She applies the blush on the apples of the cheeks, so it looks good
when you smile. After brushing the setting powder off, I'm applying it on
the eyes as a base shade. Now, I'm using a light brown shade on the upper side of
the eyelids, which is like the first layer of shadow. Take your time blending
it out as much as possible, so it doesn't look muddy and well blended. For this, I'm
using a fluffy brush because this is a lighter shade. Now, with the same fluffy
brush, I'm taking a darker shade, but I don't want to directly apply the product.
I'm going to use less product and slowly build up that darker shade on the eyelid.
This trick is really good since it gives you more control on how much product you
want to use, and also it looks well blended. So, when you see it close up, it
looks well blended. Now, I'm using a smaller brush, but it's slightly fluffy,
and in this area, apply some base shade, but if you don't have that, just use a
setting powder. Also, if you guys use that Innisfree Sebum Control Powder or any
product that is too drying, I think the texture is the same as the Innisfree one.
Those products have this certain ingredient that looks only like, it shows
up only when you have like a flash peck. So, it looks like an unbranded powder, and
it looks good without the flash. So, if you're using it at night, I don't
recommend this one. Now, I'm taking a very precise brush and applying it like this.
This is a very much beginner friendly for you guys. You can add more product on
the outside of the outline, if you want. If you want a more blur effect on certain
areas, just apply some powder on that area. Now, I'm using this eyeshadow pot
from Mars. First, I'm going to smudge it a bit on the outline, how I want to apply
the shimmer. I'm definitely going to do a specific 2016 makeup, because this seems
too light for a 2016 makeup, but that's just how Kali used to do her makeup. She
focused more on the lips and bronzing. Okay, so while I do this, let me tell you
how I almost had this pink wig from Taobao, like four months ago. I've been
plotting on this, this whole time, and I did go through like a whole process of
finding Taobao agents that buy stuff for you, and then you pay shipping. But the
thing is, India has like around 30 to 45 dollars like as tariffs, because this is
a wig, so it comes under like a special category. So, I had already paid around
$45 for this, but it was costing me around 8k rupees for all the shipping
and everything total, when the product is like 1k. And this was like two products,
so it wasn't even like all one product. For eyeliner, we are doing a cat wing. A
cat wing is much straight than tilted, which gives you that siren-like eyes. The
reason I wanted to buy a wig so desperately, is because I want to try
different styles, and my hair needs a break from all the straightening I did
when my hair were long. And so, I'm gonna give them a break and let them grow,
while you can use this. For the lip liner, I'm not using a dark lip liner. Use
an eyeshadow like a brown shade, and outline slowly. Apply tiny bit foundation
or concealer. I have such a prominent cupid's bow, so I'm emphasizing it. If you
really want that big lip effect, try making a cupid's bow instead of hiding
it. You guys can give me suggestions for certain types of makeup you want me to
try. Slavic makeup and animal pretty is already planned, so send me your inspos
on Instagram, as she does makeup too. For the matte lip, I'm using this matte mousse
from Mars. So, I'm not applying the lashes normally. Apply at the end on the eyeliner.
For lashes and lash glue, I have linked them in my Instagram highlights. It's
like two slides, you can find them easily. For highlighter, just go all over the top.
This is the makeup up close, but I've seen celebrity makeup artists say no to
a lot of using conceal...Bakri!
