That was for Birdie at 16. Same hole, Jason Kokrak, who remains with Brooks Koepke's team.
Smash, he's one under par. El Camaleon here in Mallorca.
Smash GC's Jason Kokrak. This is for Birdie at 16.
Nicely done. His four aces teammate all alone in second on eight under.
Niemann still leading the way. Brooks Koepke teeing off at eight.
He likes it. Yeah, he does.
Oh, that's why.
Brooks Koepke on the 13th. This is his third shot.
The par five.
Clipped that one nicely off the top. It should spin. Yep.
Beautiful shot.
A moment to go. Brooks Koepke for Birdie at 10.
Oh, yes.
Taylor Gooch is our defending individual champion after a scintillating 20-23 season.
And this is a Birdie for him at eight.
Going medaille. Let's check in with him for the first time today.
He is two over par today now with team Smash led by Brooks Koepke as well.
Where's that going? Into the hole.
Residents were born in this state for St. Nevada.
So I'm going to say Nevada.
Oh, Brooks.
Rescues the situation.
To the Las Vegas Valley.
Good. Nice.
Wow.
Magnificent by Brooks Koepke.
Went the other way. Range goes to Smash for Birdie at eight.
And that drops in.
68-2 under par yesterday.
This is his second shot at 10.
The Smash GC captain.
We're looking for a podium finish or better today.
They are currently down in fourth place and 13 under.
But Brooks looking to make his move.
Here's Greg McDowell on the eighth tee.
Find that back platform.
It's the Oasis. That's the key.
Here is Taylor Gooch for Birdie at seven.
Oh, yes. And that's a share of the lead for Taylor Gooch.
Rackled that one in.
Gooch.
Win.
Climbing the pylon on Championship Saturday in Las Vegas.
He is six under par.
Not out of it by any means, but he's going to go super low today.
And that'll do nicely for Brooks.
That's a birdie.
Three at six.
Brooks Koepke is the captain of Smash GC.
They've only won one team event.
That was in Jeddah in our first season, 2022.
That is just brilliant by the PGA champion.
Back to fourteen.
This is Jason Kokrak.
Off the green for Birdie.
Oh, it's brilliant.
Jason Kokrak is nine under three back of Matthew Wolfe and Smash
are into a one stroke lead in the team competition.
This is Taylor Gooch to save par.
Short par for tenth.
Oh, hello.
In Mayakova in the first event.
And that looks good for Birdie.
Graeme McDowell gets it back to one over par.
He was MVP for Smash.
The one holding the effects microphone.
Mm-hmm.
That was Brooks just a second ago.
Oh, yes.
Gives him one under for the day.
Generates such power.
You see Smash in a tie for second place.
Our winners in Las Vegas.
MVP on the final day was Graeme McDowell with his 65.
And he's contributing again.
Oh, get down.
Get down.
He's asking me to get down, but it looks pretty good.
I'm just victorious in the international series.
Not too far away in Oman last weekend.
Graeme McDowell, he was MVP for Smash GC
when they took the title in Vegas a couple of weeks ago.
Taylor Gooch for Birdie at ten for Smash.
Good job.
His third team in three years.
Brooks Koepka's second shot at 11.
Brooks with his second shot in to 16.
Nice.
Brooks Koepka with a 65 today.
This is for Birdie at one.
So he started the season with ten straight browns.
One behind the fireballs.
Koepka.
Pitching wedge.
It's looking pretty good.
Yep.
Pete Greens he's played this week.
Hmm.
Not bad.
No.
T-Mac cruising along at six under.
This was earlier to get him to six.
Smelly six at the first.
The kibosh on him.
There's a beautiful shot.
In fifth, that was for Birdie at eight.
Graeme McDowell flying once again on Championship Sunday.
That was for Birdie at nine.
It was his 65 which is the real game changer.
A few nerves I'm sure for Abe Anser.
Graeme McDowell, he's within two of the lead.
This was for Eagle.
T-Mac, 11 under par.
Giving it a really good go.
Front hole location.
Koepka with it nicely.
That is courtesy of an Eagle for our reigning individual
Live Golf League champion.
He rolls that in.
This can go dead left if you're not careful.
He played for it and what a beautiful shot.
That's an amazing shot from such a difficult position.
Elsewhere, Jason Kokrak at Smash GC.
Brooks Koepka is the captain.
This is his tee shot at 15 for Jason.
It's the par three and that is an excellent Birdie opportunity.
Taylor Gooch is right there as he always seems to be.
Jason Kokrak is helping Smash GC to climb the pylon.
Currently in fifth place.
They're three under par so far today.
That's Brooks Koepka's quartet of players.
That's his second shot at the par 512 and he would make Eagle
for himself and for his team.
Not leaning on this one either.
He is so good with his outside serve.
Brooks playing his second at two and I think he might come into this week
after a disappointing Masters feeling like he has.
He has something he wants to accomplish.
Taylor Gooch all of a sudden is eight under par.
The defending Adelaide champion.
This is second shot into the par 510.
Remember he opened last year with a pair of 62's.
Over the fourth Brooks Koepka with his second shot.
Brooks Koepka's fourth at 17 and look already we have a three-way tie
at the top of the team competition.
Brooks.
Way to save par.
At 17 Taylor Gooch for Birdie.
Seen up at 16.
Birdied that.
He opens with two Birdies.
17 and Jason Koprak for Birdie.
Just needs to roll some putts in to get some confidence going.
Pretty good.
Koprak on the second tee.
All four smash players in the early stages are under par.
They lead by one.
Defending champion here in Singapore.
Taylor Gooch for his Birdie at 17.
There's a start.
Elsewhere at Sentosa Golf Club.
With a four hour 45 minute delay.
But we're well underway here on Super Saturday.
Jason Koprak for Birdie.
Excuse me his tee shot at the par 3 eighth.
He made Birdie.
This was Taylor Gooch for his Birdie at five.
He's three under for his round.
Jason Koprak.
This at 13 to make it consecutive Birdies for him.
That's nicely done.
Smashed 28 under par.
This is going to be slippery.
What a response.
Fabulous from the defending Singapore champion Taylor Gooch.
You know there is just a big segment of the golf population that roots for a story like Landy.
And he's awesome.
That was some trophy he won as well.
Three and a half feet tall.
The Bourne trophy for the senior PGA champion.
Beautifully done by Brooks Kaepka.
Lower reaches of the Live Golf League at the halfway stage last year.
And then just went on an absolute tear.
And finished 20th in the end.
And that guaranteed his spot for this year.
How about that?
Time out in the Live Golf League.
He's one under par for his competition so far.
That was his second shot into the 11th of par 4.
Gray McDowell has driven it to here at 12.
How's this for Eagle?
Here's Brooks Kaepka at 1.
What has he been up to?
He was the joint lowest scorer yesterday with a 66.
End this round well.
And that is fabulous.
From Jason Kokrak.
Taylor Gooch off the 5th.
The longest of the par 3s here at the Grove.
225 yards.
Until you smash or wait a minute.
Taylor Gooch.
Our reigning Live Golf League champion at the party hall.
Teeing off for 15.
Already hit the stick once on a par 3 today.
Here he do it again.
Almost chased Kaepka in.
Whilst we wait.
We're going to take you back to the party hall.
As you can tell by the excessive noise.
And this is Brooks' birdie putt.
I'm pretty sure Brooks switched back to his old putter this week.
You know the thing with Hudson's career is he can snap out of it overnight.
The problem is he's only got a few more chances this season.
Kokrak.
Brooks Kaepka.
Checked in on him for the first time today.
This was a third shot out of the par 5.
Number 7.
Gets him to even par on the round.
One under total.
Taylor Gooch.
Victorious here last year.
An excellent birdie on the 18th.
To see off the challenge of Bryson DeChambeau.
And that's a beautiful shot by Taylor.
This is a moment to go at the tee at 3.
Graeme McDowell.
Of Smash GC.
3-0.
Good for his round so far.
Jason Kokrak.
His second at the par 3.
Third.
So that got him back to 3 over.
But Smash Brooks Kaepka.
For birdie at 3.
It's another guy that is going to be pleasantly surprised.
I think that he's as close as he is.
So Brooks is 3 in the par today.
His second shot at 13.
It's a par 4.
Not been his week so far.
Nor has it been Smash's week.
There's 16 over par down in 12th place.
Taylor Gooch.
His second at 8.
He had a good workout earlier on this morning.
He ran the last mile and a half to get into the course.
He got here in time.
Outside with all the crowds trying to get in.
A couple of players walked to Taylor Gooch.
Well exercised this morning.
Warmed up.
With a mile and a half jog to get through traffic to the course on time.
In fact it is ironclad.
This is Brooks Kaepka.
His second shot at 11.
We did hear a distant roar a few moments ago.
And that's why.
Bucket.
Eagle for Brooks.
Brooks made his birdie at 14.
Before that his teammate, Graeme McDowell, for birdie.
And we showed the live standings where G-Mac had just dropped out of the...
Taylor Gooch at 9.
Familiar sawed-off finish.
Never looks like he's going after an iron shot.
Full out.
And perfect distance.
Four feet away.
Determination.
He battles his current medical situation.
Going for more treatment this Tuesday.
Absolutely an inspiration to us all.
Brooks at 16 for birdie.
Back to the party hole.
The 14th tee.
And our reigning Lindolf League champion, Taylor Gooch.
Likes it.
Lovely shot there from Taylor Gooch.
Chance for Smash to level it up with Legion 13.
To the party hole.
And Jason Kokrak is four over par today.
So Smash has slipped down the pylon.
The overnight co-leaders into a tie for fifth.
He'll be feeling a lot better after that.
Graham McDowell on the fifth tee.
One shot off the podium.
That's a beautiful ring.
That's a very good looking shot.
Yes, it is.
The fairways feel pretty dry underfoot.
Now that's got to spin really hard.
It did.
It did both.
Taylor Gooch has got it to four under.
And he's got Smash GC into the team lead.
This is his second shot at the par four fifth.
Oh, hello.
Brilliant.
That'll do nicely for Taylor Gooch.
John Cavan, stubby little chip here at 13.
The flag out and for good reason.
To Taylor's.
Excellent bounce back birdie for Jason Kokrak.
Who is back at seven under par.
One of five players leading the way.
John Cavan.
From Hogsback fairway at number two.
Oh, he looks impressive.
He could manage somehow to beat this field and get a win.
That put him in the low 50s in points.
And that would pretty much guarantee him a locked zone spot for next year.
That's a big ask, but he's not guaranteed any more starts.
Beautiful shot.
Magnificent shot.
It's just a moment to go.
Jason Kokrak is within two of John Rahm and Smash.
And within one still of Ripper GC.
Brooks' ball is really sitting down.
It's almost like I see the hole.
Get up, get up, get up.
Almost hold it here yesterday.
That's a great shot from a dodgy lie.
I think it won't jump on him.
The tree's not in his way.
It'll just go a little bit.
Another great shot.
Still absolutely no reaction from him.
Get in.
He birdied the ninth.
And that was a second straight birdie at the tenth.
This is Brooks Koepke at the fourth.
Victorious for the fifth time in the Liverpool League.
I'm sorry, David.
Sure.
It would have been a try.
GMAC back to level par.
And they have one hole to play, of course, the 18th.
Grant McDowell is three over.
But has this for birdie at 17.
Or 14, rather.
He made birdie.
He's three in a tie for second.
Taylor Gooch, his final full day as reigning Liverpool League champion.
He's trying to undo some of that damage.
That was his birdie put at 15.
This is for birdie at 18.
So he's clawed his way back up to 30th place here in Chicago.
Eventually losing out by a shot to Carlos Ortiz.
Here's GMAC at the second for birdie.
He's level par today.
Inching towards the points positions in 28th.
