It's just a jump to the left, and a step to the right.
Put your hands on your hips, and bring your knees in tight.
And it's a pelvic thrust, that really drives you insane.
Let's do the time warp again.
Hi, I'm Brad.
Hi, I'm John.
It wouldn't be any kind of Halloween season if we didn't do something from Rocky Horror.
Of course.
So, courtesy this time around, the middle-aged dad jam band,
because they happen to this year have done something from Rocky Horror.
In fact, they did Time Warp.
Hey, can I do some?
Yeah.
Or occasionally, The Time Warp.
Most of the materials, the singles and stuff from back in 1975,
when it was released as a single, say Time Warp.
But then in some countries, it was actually marketed as The Time Warp,
because continuity.
It's a thing.
Anyway, Time Warp is a song which is featured in the 1973 rock musical,
The Rocky Horror Show.
It's a 1975 film adaptation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show,
and the terrible 2016 TV production movie thing,
which was part remake, part homage to, and you know.
I don't think I ever saw that.
Anyway, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, let's do The Time Warp again.
It was half remake, movie, half.
Now it's 2016.
They were taking bits from how, if you go see it in the theaters
and stuff these days, they have what they call shadow characters
acting out the scenes.
Handle on the audience, too.
And mouthing the lines and stuff along with it.
Anyway.
So it was kind of a mixture of those two things.
It wasn't very good.
The movie itself just had its 50th anniversary,
because it's still around.
It's also a little record-breaking,
because it's still in a limited release today, 2025.
It was released in 1975, making it the longest-running
theatrical movie release in film history,
because it is still in theaters.
It has never not been in theaters.
It was actually panned when it originally came out,
and it was when they started doing midnight showings
was when it really started taking off.
Yeah, well, yeah.
It became a cult classic.
And people started interacting with it very early on, too.
And here we are 50 years later.
Here we are 50 years later.
You never know.
Hey, look at the Halloween Michael Myers.
That started out as a B-budget film,
and here we are probably close to 50 years later.
It probably would be better if it still was a B-budget.
Anyway.
Well, yeah, some of the remakes and some of the parts
Yeah.
Season of the Witch for starters.
Anyway.
Yeah.
That one don't count.
Unfortunately, it does count.
We wish it didn't.
Yeah.
All right.

Okay.
Everybody ready?
You good?
Okay, good.
David, you ready?
I'm on a call, but I understand.
But, Dave, we've got to do this song,
because YouTubers are not going to wait.
I know, but the YouTubers are not going to wait.
Let's just play the song.
Okay.
One, two, three, four.
It's astounding.
Time is fleeting.
Madness takes its toll.
But listen closely.
Not for very much longer.
I've got to keep control.
I remember doing a time warp.
Drinking.
Those moments when the blackness would hit me.
And the voice would be calling.
Let's do the time warp again.
Weirdly enough,
use this piece of trivia according to the internet anyway,
the name of the song, Time Warp,
is actually named after the dance.
The dance, which features in parts of the song,
and before the song, if you're watching the movie and stuff,
is actually called Time Warp.
So...
The more you know.
Yeah.
The song was actually named after the dance,
rather than the dance being named after the song.
Or the whole thing just being made up.
It was...
Yeah.
The song was named because the dance is called Time Warp.
Anyway.
Let's do the time warp again.
It's just a jump to the left.
And a step to the right.
Put your hands on your hips.
And bring your knees in tight.
And raise the pelvic rise.
And really drive to insane.
Let's do the time warp again.
It's so dreamy.
A fantasy dreamy.
So you can't see me.
No, not at all.
In another dimension.
With voyeuristic intention.
Well secluded.
I see all.
With a bit of a mind flair.
You're into the time slip.
And nothing could ever be the same.
You're spaced out on sensation.
Like you're under sedation.
Let's do the time warp again.
YouTube pause.
Because it pauses.
Yeah.
I meant to look up.
And completely forgot.
I actually have no idea if the stage show is still around.
I mean, like I said.
I know the movie is still in limited release.
But I actually have no idea if the stage production.
The musical itself.
Yeah.
Possibly.
It might be one of those that comes and goes a lot.
Yeah.
Too.
But yeah.
I'd be kind of curious to know if the stage production is still in production.
I guess.
Kind of like cats which has hung around forever.
On and off Broadway.
Associated places.
But.
Yeah.
Max is on the postcard.
Please.
Like you're under sedation.
Let's do the time warp again.
When I was walking down the street just to have an effect.
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink.
He shook me up and took me by surprise.
He had a pickup truck and the devil's eyes.
He stared at me and I felt the change.
Time and nothing ever would again.
Let's do the time warp again.
It's just a jump to the left.
Then a step to the right.
Put your hands on your hips.
And bring your knees in tight.
When it's a pelvic thrust.
Let's do the time warp again.
See, I like them because, you know, it's very good.
You know, we just did Tommy, you know.
Yeah.
The day before.
That's what comes out.
I mean, just, you know, out having fun and making videos.
Well, it's one of those, it's a completely unlikely band as well.
Yeah.
I mean, literally, it really is a garage band.
They're, you know, bringing a garage behind his house, you know, like.
For some reason, I thought his house burned down.
Is this a new thing?
No, obviously not, unless he's in a garage.
Then again, I guess it might not actually be his garage.
It could be, like, the drummer's.
I'm pretty sure it was his, though.
I thought I saw, I don't know, I could be thinking of someone else.
The house burned.
Well, that's true too.
You know, it burned.
It was singed.
But yeah, it's like, yeah.
Everybody can have garage bands.
I mean, they even tour.
Well, you have to have a little bit of talent.
Well, yes, a little bit of talent does help.
I don't know.
I'm actually thinking about it.
Some of the bands I remember from school, talent was optional.
Yeah, Bill and Ted.
Oh, yeah, I wasn't even going there.
No, I was actually thinking some of the kids I knew in school who had bands.
Talent optional.
Anyway.
But yes, even actors and stuff have hobbies.
It just happens to be theirs.
Playing music in the garage.
Yeah, and of course, you know, that's some of the other videos of theirs that we've done.
I'm not even sure if we've done them on this channel yet.
I mean, what we had Weird Al pop up in one video.
Oh, no.
Yeah, those may have been on our old channel.
Could have been on our old channel, yeah.
Simply because, well, we need somebody for the accordion solo.
Yeah, and who else?
Yeah, who else are you going to call?
Call up Weird Al.
He'll turn up, do the accordion solo.
Anyway.
Anyway, yeah, as we continue to ramble on about nothing.
Yeah, once again, another good performance by him.
And, you know, we enjoyed it.
And we're obviously going to probably hit them up some more.
It's been a long while since we've done them.
And if you want to see any of those, make sure you get that like and subscribe.
