Hi everyone.
My name is Bethany and I, along with my husband, Sean, run Trash Bandits Thrift.
We're a six figure reselling business and here on this channel, we share with you all
of our tips, tricks, and experiences, all so that you can start and grow your very own
reselling business too.
Today, I am running haul for you of all vintage and Y2K items that I source to thrift and
resell online.
So I thrifted all of these at the Goodwill Outlet and we sourced primarily 99.9% there
for our reselling business.
All of these items I'm going to show you, tell you a little bit about why I picked it
up, if they're vintage or Y2K, style aesthetics I would use to get them sold, and even for
some of them, if I can remember how much I priced them at or how much I'm going to price
them at if I'm going to list them online.
Full disclosure, some of you might not actually make it there.
I just did a pop-up here in New York City at a vintage store and I'm doing another one
next month in November.
I'm going to leave the details in the description and if you're in the New York City area or
you're local, I'd love to see you if you want to pop out and say hi.
See what I have for sale, chat.
So that is going on November 15th and I'm going to leave all the details there below.
Some of this is actually going to probably be there and some of this is going to be listed
online for sale as well.
All right.
First up, this is a goodie.
I am really focusing on vintage knits right now.
This one is newest tags and it's dead stock.
So vintage newest tags, items you can use if you are dead stock.
This one is 100% wool.
The brand does not matter but it is from the 90s and look at it.
It is just absolutely stunning.
So this one is vintage from the 90s.
It is wool and that chunky cable knit.
Those are two keywords and styles that have definitely pinpointed to me that it is a trending feature.
I would use those keywords as well with maybe even grandpa.
It's cropped as well so it's great for a women's fit especially if they want something a little
bit more oversized on top and a cropped look.
Think about this.
Maybe paired with boots and some jeans.
This is exactly what I'm looking for when it comes to women's vintage knits.
Love the color too.
Super just vintage and 90s inspired.
All right.
Next.
I'm a lover of vintage lingerie.
I source and I sell a lot of it.
We have for years.
This one is stunning.
It's long.
So I'm going to see if I can show you her inner full glory.
It is Y2K.
There's the tag.
Stunning slip dress.
You're going to see there's beading and embroidery at the top and then a little bit of a ruffle
at the bottom with an asymmetric hem.
So some of the style aesthetics that this one would fit into would definitely be Y2K.
I'm going to even use a keyword like whimsical and it's just absolutely stunning.
It's longer length means it probably has a lot more value.
I have this other pop up.
This we just had a pop up.
I think this is getting uploaded.
Yeah.
By the time you're watching this will be like a week or two ago and I have this one priced
really high because honestly if I have it online I would price it really high as well.
I wouldn't list this any lower than $75.
Sell these pieces like this especially right now I'm filming this in October before Halloween.
This is a super hot type of trending item and people are willing to spend more for these
types of Y2K lingerie.
Longer length.
This one is silk.
Even better it's not but silk didn't really stop me.
Next is a, this is actually silk.
This one is Y2K.
It's actually Marona.
This is funny.
It's 100% silk.
Elastic waist mini slip skirt.
These 390s.
I've been really liking finding these satin silk slip skirts for years.
This one looks like a bias cut.
Super slinky and dainty.
Those are all great keywords for it.
Next.
Oh I love this one.
This one's not my size.
I'm like looking at it.
I'm like should I try it on?
Let's see.
Okay.
Okay I don't think it's for me but I had to try it on.
Look how cute it is.
Are you kidding me?
Look at all the details in the back.
I don't know you tell me.
Should I keep it?
No.
I feel like it's a tad too small on me.
Anyway.
Okay this is super 90s as well.
This one the price tag I'm going to show you is insane.
It is from I think Dana Bookman?
Yeah.
Look at this price tag on this.
Oh it's actually like Y2K.
Not 90s.
It might not even be vintage.
But it's Y2K for sure.
$995.
Are you kidding?
It's just stunning though.
I love the faux leather.
It's faux leather right?
No way.
You're not going to be $1000 and not be leather.
Okay good.
It's 100% leather I was about to say.
The details.
Stunning.
This is a great western piece.
I can see it going so many different ways.
This is exactly something that I would see three people carrying right now.
That is the vibe I was going for.
To be determined.
I don't know you let me know.
But it's really cute.
Besides this cute style aesthetics I would use their boho and western.
The price tag is wild.
It won't go for anywhere near that.
But with this being 100% leather again.
This is a substantial piece.
Using style based sourcing and selling based on keywords and style aesthetics.
It's how you can take a piece like this that absolutely has value and get it to the right buyer.
Alright.
More jackets that I want to keep.
Oh boy.
This is just.
You can tell it's the stuff I like the best.
Although I don't want to sell any of it.
This is a quilted jacket.
I have two of these.
I'll show you this one first.
This one is neither vintage or Y2K.
It's vintage inspired.
So I would use a keyword like retro.
And again boho.
It's quilted all throughout.
There is no brand tag.
Just the size tag.
This is something super bohemian and cottage core.
And it's a style that has been trending for years.
I got another one too.
This one is honestly my favorite.
It's even nicer.
This one has a patchwork print going on.
And it's reversible.
So the inside is actually like a different.
It's not a different texture.
It's the same texture.
It's just a beautiful pattern.
You can wear it either way.
Love it.
Look at those little.
Yeah it has chore pockets in the front as well.
Which I think are a great trending feature.
And it's all over floral prints.
So again the boho cottage core type of vibe.
I can even use a keyword like artisan for this.
More coats.
Okay last coat.
And then we're going to move on.
This one.
Like so stunning.
So so stunning.
I'm not going to ask you if I should keep this one.
Don't worry.
This one is vintage.
It is a play on a Penny Lane coat.
Penny Lane coats are one of my favorites to source for fall and for winter.
This one I think is Y2K.
Look at the fur.
So it doesn't have fur down or on the cuff.
But this is like insane shaggy fur kind of a little knit.
Here is the tag.
What's yours?
Y2K.
It's leather.
It's red.
Red is a great color right now.
It's a little bit of that deeper red which is great because burgundy has been trending.
Full zip.
And then it is a longer length trench.
It's a vintage style that can speak to modern trending features.
And when it comes to vintage there's that part where it's like okay only collectors might want this.
It doesn't look like something a modern buyer would buy.
And then the best part about style based sourcing is it can be vintage.
It could be 20, 30 years ago that it was made and yet it looks just like something that people want right now.
That modern brands are trying to emulate.
Alright next.
Like this one.
Oh my god.
I need to do more of these vintage hauls.
This is my favorite.
Look at this.
This is Alan Page.
This one's 90s.
But it's 90s though 70s.
So it looks like such a 60s, 70s moment.
Tell me this is not the cutest thing.
And it's so tiny so I definitely can't keep her but I love it.
This is definitely something that I would use in 90s.
It is 70s inspired although it's not vintage 70s.
And there are some great keywords you could use.
Like groovy, something 60s, 70s inspired.
Like psychedelic as well.
Really great ditzy floral.
Super groovy piece.
It reminds me of Scooby Doo a little bit.
Maybe like a Scooby Doo costume.
That would be so cute.
Alright next.
This one's a Y2K piece and it's very Y2K.
Like it's got animal print.
It's got it all.
And it's a funny brand too.
This is actually older Forever 21.
This is a Y2K tag.
So cool.
It is that halter.
That leopard print has been trending.
And then you also have little heart buttons.
That make it almost a little bit dainty and coquette.
A lot of great keywords I just said that I would use exactly for this piece.
This is a great example of some Y2K pieces that are selling that are not just the silk baby doll top.
Here's a 90s dress.
This is vintage rampage.
I like vintage rampage a lot.
This one is kind of a little ditzy floral moment.
It's red.
It's a little mini dress.
I would use keywords like 90s.
This is more of a summer piece but a lot vintage stuff.
I feel like people tend to layer in the fall and the winter.
So this is something someone would wear with like knee-high boots.
Maybe a sweater or a leather jacket.
I would use those type of styling keywords.
And honestly kind of helping the buyer imagine it in the description.
I think that's also an awesome way to market vintage items.
So if I can kind of see the outfit, I will put the outfit.
Here is something I also love sourcing when it comes to lingerie.
It's a little corset bustier.
This one is Y2K.
I don't think it's vintage.
It almost is.
It's wild.
2006 is almost vintage.
In a couple months it will be.
But this one is 19 years old.
So maybe not quite vintage.
Next here, I would say it's bed stock.
It is new in tags from the Sexy Little Things line from Victoria's Secret.
It is boned.
It is velvet.
And it is lace.
Like check, check, check.
All the things that you want to see.
This is super dark feminine.
Again, I would use keywords like whimsical.
And there are so many more that would definitely go with this piece.
Here is another Y2K little top.
I love pieces like this.
This is from a Y2K brand I often like to see.
It is bang.
S-A-N-G.
Tiny little Y2K top.
The blue kind of gives a mermaid vibe.
And then it has a little tie in at the back.
With the embroidery on the bottom.
Here is a little baby doll long sleeve.
Another mesh.
Y2K ink international concept.
This one is long sleeve.
A lot of dark feminine kind of features.
You have that baby doll and it has a tie in the back.
A lot of the same keywords that I keep saying I would still use for this one.
Definitely love those sleeves as well.
You even have that flare sleeve that I like to see.
And I got a few more for you.
Here is another skirt I am liking.
I do love to pick up vintage and Y2K skirts when it is this type of vibe.
This one is, oh this one is actually a Euro vintage one.
Roberta Scarpa.
So it is Italian.
And again with that asymmetric hem I showed you earlier.
Super whimsical.
Great keywords that I would use for this one with some other dark feminine keywords as well.
And then I will leave us off with something I have been experimenting with.
Kind of bring us back to the first one.
I want to include a men's one too.
I do have more men's ones but I don't know if I want to make this video super long.
If you want to see more of these types of vintage and Y2K hauls let me know.
And I will scrounge up some more that I have been saving and I will do another one.
This one is men's.
It is JFruit.
This one is slightly based on the brand but not really.
It is also based on material.
This one is cashmere wool and gora blend.
And it is red and it is cable knit.
All things pointing to a 90s vintage vibe.
Plus for going to the holidays.
Holiday and preppy are some really great keywords I would also use to get this to sell.
Plus the best part is it doesn't matter if it is men's.
If I wore it right now like this, put a little belt on it, wore it like a little mini dress,
or I just wore it like this, maybe with a little mini skirt and some boots.
That is how a woman or anyone else would be able to style it too.
So it goes both ways.
Any gender can wear it.
Alright you guys I hope this was entertaining and kind of cool to see all the different
vintage and YTC pieces I have been picking up recently.

Resellers as University is a mentorship community that I co-run along with Kaylee Lean and her

I talked about it a little bit early in the video.
I don't always mention it in my videos.
My goal with my YouTube channel is to provide as much free content and value as I possibly can.
Help as many and kind of get to as many people as I can.
If you want my one-on-one attention and you kind of want the how-to for your business
