Continuing our cycling journey from Switzerland to Southeast Asia, we find ourselves in India, riding through the off-season roads around the buffer zone of Jim Corbett National Park.
This part of the journey took us deep into the jungle — quiet, wild, and unpredictable. We were cycling through the forest in search of wild elephants, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the mystery of the Indian wilderness.

Is it okay to cross?
We are cycling in this area that is supposed to be elephant zone and there
are not that many cars or that much populated so we've been looking maybe we
are lucky and we see some wild elephants crossing the roads or on the side but we
haven't seen yet. Lara is very excited to see so let's see maybe maybe we are
lucky. Hello. So we are like far down there. There is at least one but it's very far.
Here's the elephant. How many days in India? In India one month but total seven months.
No, we go to Nepal.
It's the second day and we still haven't found any elephant. We have seen a lot of
footprints and places that they passed but we haven't seen yet. So some National Park
guards they told us you can see them mostly in the evening between like after dark but
we don't cycle after dark so we are hoping to see them during the day. Let's see.
There is an ambulance, wait.
Thank you.
Diwali.
Hello.
We are on the second day of searching for elephants because Lara really wants to see wild elephants in the forest.
So we are in Corbet National Park which is very famous for elephants and tigers.
We just entered the National Park and the forest is so dense. The trees are so tall
and beautiful and healthy and we hope maybe we see elephant. Let's see if we are lucky enough.
