This week we explored the insanely beautiful Island of Anglesey. We headed to some of the most stunning beaches in Wales and still cannot believe this is the country we call home! Being on the road is always such a dream for us. After buying and renovating Custard the bus in 2019 it's so lovely to get her back on the road. This bus life will never get old! Any info on when Europe might open? - It's next on the list!

What is happening guys? We are Craig and Amy and you are watching Kingin' It.
And this week we are exploring a beautiful part of North Wales also known as Anglesey.
In this week's video we visit one of the most scenic spots we have ever seen in Wales.
Now this is why you should definitely come to Anglesey.
Mad scenes mate.
We find the most beautiful park up on a beach.
Amy robs a corner shop.
And Craig makes an exceptional Michelin star dinner in the bus.
When we decided to take the bus around Wales we never expected to be so blown away.
For such a small country Wales packs a big punch.
After weeks of driving through the middle and being in the mountains
we decided to explore the little island of Anglesey.
We could feel summer flying towards us so we headed to some of the best beaches on the island.
Right now that's out of the way.
Welcome to our channel you pervs.
You're watching Kingin' It.
We started the week off with breakfast outside.
Summer is that you?
Cheers.
And I think you can buy these on our shop which is an FYI.
Cheers.
To the summer lads.
Just a couple of bus duties before we leave.
First things first, water.
Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.
Get the toilet, get the toilet.
Oh lovely day for it though Craig.
Walk of shame.
So our port-a-potty usually lasts us like four to five days depending on how many curries we've had.
But we really, I don't know why we keep doing this to ourselves,
we really need to get a compost toilet so we can just bin the little plops.
If any of you have got any recommendations that isn't a nature's head because they're
really expensive please leave them in the comments that would be great.
Some chicken noodle soup for lunch babes.
Yay van life.
All right we're topped up, we've got an empty toilet.
First stop, Porth da Farch beach.
What the Farch?
Did I mention that I'm really, really, really hungry?
Oh you, you look fit today babes.
Oh what do you mean today bro?
You always look fit but you look exceptionally fit today, well done.
Thank you very much.
Um I'll just put up a couple of videos here of what I actually did look like before this happened.
Um hiya, yep it is me.
Come on in Kirsten.
Is the sun gone please?
No small children knocking about is there?
We headed off in Custard in search of a beach.
The drive around Anglesey's west side is an absolute treat.
Wow look at that.
Looks so nice, like crystal clear.
Oh I can't wait for a swim.
When we eventually found it, we got a dream parking spot.
Oh look at this for a view babes, you got lucky with the parking space didn't we?
We sure did, a hell of a spot.
Captain B's making some sarnies for the boys.
Sandwiches.
A bit of cabbage is it babe?
It is, that's a game changer like, and salt and pepper, tiger bread buns, change your life.
My goal to never put shoes on for the rest of the summer.
So we've got our spot, decent view.
When was the last time we did this?
Yesterday on our day off.
There's like really class bathers on, I'll show you in a bit.
You're a class bird babe.
It was a bit much, I saw it online, I was like I love it but would I wear it?
And then I was just thinking, I follow so many girls on Instagram that are so body positive
and I'm like bugger it, I'm just gonna get it and now I'm just wearing it so
if you've got something out there that you want to wear that's just been stuck in the wardrobe,
get it on you this weekend, you'll feel great for it, just love it you know?
You look lush babe.
Thank you, stretch marks and all.
We're going swimming so I've got to take the wig off.
So the sun's gone in and now it's freezing so we're gonna go back to the bus.
Put the heating on in the bus and have a coffee, let's go.
Keep the f***ing kettle on.
Don't be so rude.
Cup of tea babes?
Yes please.
After our cup of mother flipping tea, we headed to one of the most scenic,
most breathtaking spots in all of Wales.
Look at this for a view.
Amazing.
Snow don't you in the back?
Is it?
Yeah, absolutely stunning.
Even though we're in Wales, I sometimes feel like we're somewhere in Europe,
like with the sea being so clear and when the sun's out it's just stunning.
I think it's just because we're so used to our hometown and the water's brown
so anywhere else we're like, oh we're abroad.
You know I always say that you're spoiled and it's like being in a Michelin star restaurant.
Do you want a bit of instant smash for dinner?
Yes please.
Smash and gravy for the lads.
Just found some sausages, we'll have some mushy peas and some gravy.
I'm just eyeballing it, I've got no measuring jug.
Hopefully this mash turns out all right.
There's only three sausages though babe, so I'll have to have three, you'll have to have none.
Only joking, you can have one.
Because this is Holmes's kitchen, we're not going to mess about.
We got some butter, we got some vegan mayo.
Let's make some proper mash, shall we?
I did add butter and mayo and salt and pepper but this was 79p a pack.
Never buying potatoes again.
I'll just make this, she's not even hungry now.
I'll take it with me.
Look at your little space buns babe, you look so cute today.
Thank you.
Tanuba Forest.
This place is immaculate.
There's a massive car park, unfortunately there's no overnight parking which is a shame.
But yeah, there's just a huge sweeping beach and you can see Snowdonia in the back.
And then it's just blue water, it's so nice.
It feels like it's in France or something.
We've just started on the trail.
No bro, I ain't going.
She's googling how long it takes already.
She's like, it takes two hours, I'm not going.
Even though we've got this stunning forest with sand dunes all around us.
Lovely sunny day in Wales.
Apparently from the car park it takes 30 to 40 minutes.
There you go.
Just shut up and enjoy your walk, will you love?
No.
Okay, so we've made it through the forest, crossed the beach.
To the right we've got, you know, Greece and that.
Over here, Snowdonia.
Over there, Thailand, is it?
Geography with Craig and Amy.
Now this is why you should definitely come to Anglesea.
Mad scenes, mate.
Mad scenes.
Just raw power, raw beauty.
Stunning coastline.
Fresh sea air.
Sick thing about this lighthouse is that you can literally walk right up to it.
You can lock the door if you want, no one will answer.
But maybe they will, we'll have to find out.
But honestly, this is the most stunning spot I've ever seen in Wales.
There's a lighthouse, there's Snowdonia in the back,
there's a beach on the right and the left.
It's just raw, rugged Welsh coastline at its finest.
There she blows!
Like a winding staircase.
And then upstairs, the winding stairs to the 360 degree bedroom views.
That'll go on at Airbnb, I'd stay there.
Lighthouse renovation series coming soon.
The first king in an Airbnb.
Honestly though, if you come to Anglesea, 100% come here.
The walks are immense, the views are outrageous.
I would say come early, bring like a cool box, big picnic, it's not that far a walk.
Share it with your friend, carry it with a friend and just spend the day
because there's beaches all around here.
There's little coves, I'm sure you can pick your own
and you wouldn't be bothered by anyone all day.
Definitely, but make sure you check the wind as well because like
when there's no wind, it literally is like a tropical paradise.
Love that babe, did you love that?
I did love that, I did.
We love a lighthouse, we do.
Maybe we just love each other babes.
Home sweet home.
Custard, you beauty.
Well done babes, that was a mission wasn't it?
Yeah, although I need my mashed potato.
Before we carry on with the video, we'd like to thank this week's sponsor,
Squarespace.
Breaking news, there are no websites left.
They've all been taken, Sheila.
It is absolutely wild, the only way to get a website these days is on the black market.
And they're costing upwards of 450 million Australian dollars.
But luckily for you guys, we actually have some available for purchase
at a pretty decent price.
You want to get yourself over to Squarespace.
Sheila, their websites are so easy to use.
They have templates you can drag and drop.
Whether it's booking services or if you sell digital products like e-books,
Squarespace has everything and with webinars and forums to help you build your site,
it couldn't be easier.
We've got a website, don't we Sheila?
We do.
Kinginit.com, you can get yourself a nice t-shirt or a mug on our shop.
You can listen to our podcast.
You can even learn about how we met.
So if you're a cheeky Sheila like ourselves,
you can head over to squarespace.com for a free trial.
Or go to squarespace.com forward slash kinginit
for 10% off your first domain or website.
Just don't tell anyone.
Barbie of mine, Sheila.
Get it on, Sheila.
Morning, babes.
Look at you.
Morning, babes.
With your fine-ass dress.
Looking all French.
I'll draw you like one of my French girls later if you want.
Sounds good, I'm in.
Brilliant.
Get your kegs off.
Morning, lads.
So we are back in the RAF valley slash beach.
Today, the sun's shining again.
We're going to get out there, see what's about.
Just have a wicked time and rule our own world, innit, babes?
Yeah, for sure.
Bye.
On our continued mission to find all of the beaches on Anglesea,
we headed towards a cute little one called Church Bay for a bagel burger,
courtesy of yours truly.
And this place was banging.
Wow, look at that, babe.
Nuts, innit?
So we're going to eat our burgers on the beach, taking the sea air and the views.
It's really funny though because it's like a weekday.
It's just full of like retired people and me and Amy.
Older folk.
Ah, this is so cosy though.
It's such a great little spot.
I don't think many people come here.
Look how clear that water is as well.
Insane.
The one time we didn't bring our bathers and look at it.
Stunning.
After we smashed our burgers,
we realised we hadn't refuelled the bus for a while.
And as our fuel gauge does not work,
it occurred to us that we were very close to calling out the AA for another lift home.
Are we living on the edge?
We are, yeah.
It only takes 72 quid.
We're on 66.
Just had a lovely lady come up to me and said,
oh, you took me all the way back to my youth.
She said her next door neighbour used to have a bus the same as Custard's.
And he used to take her everywhere in it with her and her friends.
He was like a bus driver.
That's amazing.
How cool is that?
Bit of nostalgia from Custard.
She's an old girl, isn't she?
Just giving back to the community.
Do you know what I mean?
Just giving memories back to people.
£70.34.
And how much does she take?
£72.
And we never know because the petrol gauge is broken.
Yeah, we had about £1.70 left.
Oh, luckily we stopped.
Sometimes there's just no words,
but this bay is exceptional.
I asked Amy if she wanted to come for a swim,
but she doesn't want the fake tan to come off her legs.
Yeah, that's true.
It's just me.
But look at this.
It could be in Monaco for all you know.
All right, lads, we've made it to Kemmis Bay.
This place is glorious.
Sun's shining, the tide's up.
There's loads of like really nice houses that just sort of border the sea.
And if I could have one one day, that would be glorious.
There's a really busy car park on one side,
and then the other side, it's really quiet.
It's like down these country lanes.
And you can actually stay there for the night in your van.
It says you can just pay, it's like £15.
It's a bit pricey, but for the view, it's next level.
Like there's the car park and you're literally straight onto the beach.
How good is that?
So if we're going to stay the night,
I've decided that in the morning we're going to go for a swim.
But I need one thing.
What's that?
A rubber ring.
We'll get you a rubber ring, babes.
We'll get you a rubber ring.
What are we doing?
What is going on?
What are we thinking?
There's no point in walking.
There's only one way to explore this place.
I've got absolutely sick.
So we didn't have a mask between us,
so I've had to take my t-shirt off
so Amy can go in the shop to buy a rubber ring.
There she is, any luck?
Honestly, I feel like the woman felt like I was going to rob the shop.
No, they didn't have any.
They had padding pools and I was like,
well, we could put it in the bus.
But I thought you wouldn't allow that, Craig, so I didn't get it.
We were also running out of battery on our scooters
and we met this fella.
He was like, I've got the same ones.
I'll lock on your bus tomorrow and you can borrow my charger.
How lovely is that?
It's just like, yeah, no worries.
I'll just drop them down when I take the kids to school.
I was like, thank you.
That's so lovely.
So we're going to stay the night.
Paid our £15.
Got a little ticket.
It's put in the front.
Massive.
That's the biggest ticket I've ever seen.
That's a tree.
Hell of a bit of paper that is.
Sunset swim.
Let's do it, babes.
What's for din-dins then, mademoiselle?
Captain Buggy.
Now, I'm just going to make the dinner.
I'm fully aware Craig should be doing it
and that it isn't a woman's job.
Stop panning down.
But I'm just quicker.
So we're both starving.
So we're going to make...
Now this is going to sound gross.
We're going to make a tofu salad.
But this tofu is like quite spicy.
Looks good.
We've got these, which are like obviously vegan ribs,
but they're so tasty.
We take all of the boxes off usually
because it doesn't fit in our freezer.
So then we have to remember or just guess
how long they go in the oven for.
And we've got...
This isn't bacon.
So we're going to do like a tofu and bacon salad.
And we've got a gorgeous leftover curry
that we had the other day.
Top job.
I'm coming to this restaurant again.
And then we'll take it outside and eat it in the sun, is it?
Are we enjoying our summer holidays, babes?
Is this happening?
Yeah.
Is summer here?
I think it is, yeah.
Oh no, there's a duck in the van.
Right, get out.
Yeah, there's poo particles on the food, Craig.
Can't really beat this, babes, can you?
For a dinner spot.
It's worthy, isn't it?
Hell of a spread as well.
Salad.
Salad topping.
Curry.
Cheese.
Mayo.
A bit of a random selection.
You're a keeper, babes.
I am.
You're a lucky bugger.
Captain Bee suggested a sunset swim.
Did I?
And now she's instantly regretting it because it's quite cold.
But once we get around the corner, we'll be back in the sun.
So hopefully it'll be warmer.
It does look amazing, like the sunsets here in North Wales are just everything.
There you go, lads.
Wait for this when we come around the corner.
It's got a chill though.
There's a wind chill.
Ready?
Oh, Africa.
It's lovely.
It's not that bad, is it?
You look lovely in the golden light, babes.
Guys, this is the worst bit though, wading in.
I just wish there was a drop off and we could just plop in.
I know.
We've been walking for about 20 minutes and it's still shallow.
Oh, just stood on a fish.
I hope he's all right.
Proper, like, adamantly wriggled out.
He'll be all right.
All right, I think it's deep enough to go in now.
Are you ready?
You got this, babes.
Okay, what am I doing this for?
Fun.
Oh, fish, fish!
It went in my toes.
It went between my toes.
It feels weird, doesn't it?
Little squirmigator.
Fun, health benefits.
Health benefits, immune system, adrenaline.
Life.
Life, babes.
Let's do it for life.
Ready?
Yeah.
You're going to go all the way in.
I'm not going to wet my head because I get brain freeze and it really hurts.
Okay, ready?
Yes.
Three, two, one.
Oh, give me some heat.
Well done, babes.
Look at that view, kids.
That's what it's about.
Custard had been putting in some shifts
and had gotten quite dusty driving us through the country lanes.
So we gave her a much-needed bath, dirty cow.
Voila, brand spanking new looking Custard.
Even though we left my window open,
so my seat's probably soaking wet now, babes.
It's because you just get so excited.
You're like, where's the bus?
And then you leave and I'm like, oh, my windows are open.
Oh, no.
I haven't got wipers for the inside.
Our final stop of the week is one of the most unique places on Anglesey.
After attempting to get there in the bus,
we realised there was nowhere big enough for her to park.
How was that, babes?
So there's no actual car park here.
It just says off-road parking.
Yeah, that should be fine, Craig.
Absolutely no problem at all.
There's a little bit of room there for a bike.
We found this lay-by.
We've just sort of parked up.
We've got Harry and Marv out
and they're going to take us the rest of the way.
Harry and Marv getting loads of adventures this week.
Putting some shifts in, Craig.
It's not that far.
We found a lock as well.
We thought we had a lock and we found it in the cupboard.
So Amy was like, we'll hide them in a bush
and hopefully no one nicks them.
I'm like, no, let's find a proper lock.
It's getting late now though, but let's get down there, shall we?
Have a look at this place.
To the brickworks.
I think that's what it's called.
Watch a bush, love.
All the sheep have had their summer cuts now.
They look so smart.
I just want to give them like a little certificate
so they can take it home and go,
mum, she said I look so smart.
Found a little park up for Harry and Marv.
Now you'll be good.
If anyone comes, you'll fight them.
Have you not done it through more than one?
Through that one, through there and then through there.
Surely you do it through like three
so that we've got less chance of stealing them.
You were going to say something.
I was like, I'm going to do this now.
Watch Craig be like, oh, you should have done this,
you should have done that.
We just passed someone.
Man's got walking sticks.
Got me Jesus creepers on.
It's not that like rough terrain, is it?
But we can see the top and it's making me very excited.
So let's go a bit faster.
See if in a brick action, can you bait?
Yeah.
Nice.
There's actually people camping down here.
So if you bring a tent, you're allowed to stay.
It's like a full festival.
However, I did read online that this is private property,
but I'm not sure if they care.
So this is actually, it was a brick factory type thing
back before the World War I started
and then they shut the place down.
So they made bricks to go inside furnaces, I think.
But like so cool how everything's still kind of,
well, it's not standing, is it?
But it's a really cool setup.
I love that.
It's like you can still see the old machinery
and just being taken over by nature.
And there's like beehive kilns over there
that used to cook the bricks.
But yeah, apparently the ships used to come in here
to take the bricks away.
But then they started buying bricks cheaper
from somewhere else.
And so they sacked this place off.
So it just went to ruin, which is sad.
But it's a nice little place to come visit, isn't it?
Come on, Aunt Clive, let's get you home.
Do you know what we've got at home?
What have we got?
We've got sticky toffee pudding.
Have we?
But we've only got one though, so I'll have that.
Sorry about that.
Lads, that is it for this week's video.
It's been a lovely week, hasn't it?
Yeah, Anglesey is just beautiful.
And if you've got some time off
and you live kind of around the UK,
I would highly suggest coming here.
It's just a piece of paradise, isn't it?
Yeah, it's proper summer vibes.
Like it's really like loads of little beach towns.
So many coves you can find.
You're bound to be able to find your private cove
and you can just hang out there for the day,
bring a picnic.
Oh, there's some lovely babes.
So yeah, we're not actually done with it.
We've still got the East Coast to do.
So make sure you check back next week
to see what we get up to.
So we will see you then.
But until then, what words of advice
have you got for people this week, babes?
I mean, don't take my advice literally
just because it can be dangerous.
But I will always say, you know,
get yourselves out there.
If it's raining, put on a big waterproof jacket
and just go on a little hike.
Listen to our podcast on a little walk.
That'll be fun.
Fun for you.
And just spend some more time with you
and on you, you know,
give yourself self-care Sundays.
Buy yourself a little face mask,
get some cucumbers,
listen to some whale music
and just have a wonderful time.
And always remember to rule your own world.
One, two, three, fight!
Are you going to share that sticky toffee pudding with me?
Yeah.
How much would you pay?
Oh, it's got my name on it.
That one's for me, so.
It's not very fair, though, is it?
You just have to buy your own food.
It's supposed to be a team, mate.
Sheila.
Who's Sheila?
Both of us.
Sheila.
I'm not even dressed up.
What are you laughing for?
The look on your face.
The only way to get a website these days
is on the black market.
The black market.
Go to market.
They have templates.
Alabama templates.
It's always Southern Craig.
Digital products like e-books.
Squarespace has everything.
That's Kiwi, isn't it?
You can get yourself a nice t-shirt or a mug going out of shop.
I'll go to squarespace.com forward slash king in it.
Bobby of mine.
You're the one with a wig and a beret, Craig.
I should be laughing.
Okay.
Bobby of mine, Sheila.
Dead old Sheila.
