【Enduro World Series】Highlights Show | EWS Burke

Hello everyone and welcome to the first installment of a historic east coast doubleheader right here from the USA Welcome to EWS Berk You had like three kind of distinct phases of tracks At the top it was pretty grassy, rooty and like the slippiest part of the track And then it transitioned into a lot of rocks which had a bit of mud dragged over them but you could keep it rolling And at the bottom there were like some really nice loamy turns So you could just like really push into and hit properly My confidence has had a big boost after today I wasn't really sure, I've been pretty tired this week It's like hard to recover from one race to get into the next But yeah, now I'm excited now I just gotta pedal hard I didn't think I could make time on that one So I'll just try to ride as fast as I can on them all And we'll see Yeah, the other ways are I think they were in the same second as me then So I'm just gonna have to give it the berries And see how we end up I don't know if that one was any good I kind of cooked it over brake debunch And cooked it a bit But I think I nearly met me maker on stage one Took me the whole climb to recover And then stage two was sick It's probably everyone's favourite Yeah, I like these ones We've got a long one coming up It's gonna be pretty tough as well And then pro stage from yesterday was sick It's just like, they're all so short So you just have to like pedal so hard But they're fun, they're really riding good Riding good and yeah Keeping it moving Yeah, good so far Just having fun Trying to lay it out there Pedals are awful but Everyone's got to do it You just got to get through them Having fun Fun is fast so yeah Good so far I think I just want to go ham today Try my best And then if I'm getting through well I think I will be happy no matter what It's pretty exhausting Keep on dragging the god damn back brake man God bless America baby Not bad Got to keep the intensity super high with these stages Lots of pedaling on the over route So it's quite tough But it's a crowd so I can't complain Richie Rude of course Because I'm his grandmother Used to watch him when he went to the BMX track That's where it all started And it's great It really is great I felt like I was empty Didn't have much trying to pedal Didn't feel like I was going any faster So that was hard I enjoyed 3 and 4 But I don't look at results while I'm riding So yeah We're gonna find out We've got a couple of really long ones now Quite a long climb up the road to get there Stage 5 It's pretty flat actually Long but flat And yeah just got to carry speed And then stage 6 Same as the pro stage Some nice downhill rock sections I like that one A few mistakes on the first one of today I clipped the pedal And went straight into a tree and everything Yeah it's hard because you really want to push But then it's easy to make mistakes I'm glad to be getting into these Like more downhill-y ones It's good it's like Trying to hit all the perfect little patches of dirt Carry your speed Not get stuck in the bomb holes But that first one really I really like blacked out in the middle The sprints on J-Bar That was pretty tough I was really looking forward to that one but I've got some issues going on But I don't know one tiny mistake Which was a bit costly Because could have done with being really smooth But we're off to the pits now So get that sorted And I'll rattle on Get away I think Sorry I'm on a mission to make it to the next one It's going to be a really physical race We still have two bigger stages to go Crowd's sick Tracks are running pretty much perfect But light's real patchy And just like always pedaling Always pumping So a bit of a physical battle So good I'm really enjoying the trails And yeah like it's It's not like loads of hanging around So you kind of feel like getting to a rhythm And you can keep it going At least for the first half of the day So yeah really good That one was really good It was like intense But you could carry more speed kind of And like couldn't actually pedal everywhere That was a good one Yeah Yeah so pumped Especially like such different places Wasn't sure how the week was going to go So yeah super happy I think stage four Just fun and flowy And just little hopping and things everywhere Yeah I really enjoyed that one Even though it was the shortest It was kind of over before you knew it But it was a really really good stage Like started yesterday And third on the pro stage And then like kind of Sat around second For the first half of the day And yeah I was honestly a bit stressed out Like didn't know Like Jack was riding so well So I didn't know if I could pull any time back And had a really good stage five And Jared let me know Time's got a bit tighter And yeah just Had to keep riding it fast And came home with the win So I really can't Can't get better than that It's been good Like I've been here a few times But you know having a big race here Is something else Like all of our monsters And all these ghosts here It's great to have a race here There we have it then An absolute action packed round And the good news is That you don't have long to wait For
