Welcome to Stockholm. It's after
midnight. It's cold. We'll talk to you
in the morning.
>> Where do we go from? Where do we go from
here?
>> I said we're going to wait till morning,
but
nice little room at the Rison with a
beautiful city view.
>> Hey guys, I'm going to sleep now.
>> That was a lovely night's sleep. Now
we're heading out to a swift stop home.
And bonus, we even have sun.
What's happening?
>> There's a big ghost.
>> I guess it's obvious what time of year
we're here. They're getting an early
start on Halloween and I like it.
[Music]
Wait for the wind. Wait for the night.
Stand here while take a little time.
Since you went away and came to a halt,
>> we had sun.
>> They just went behind a giant, well, I
say dark cloud, but it's really just a
giant dark sky cuz there's now like no
blue left.
>> This whole area is called King's Garden.
Great walking, shopping, eating area.
This ain't a story about happy ending.
[Music]
Oh, I could set this world on fire. I
could tear this town aart.
I drive, but I could never be a part of
you.
Little bird friend.
>> That is the royal palace. It looks very
sturdy. painted smile. I was the willow
tree.
>> It's dark today, or at least right now,
>> but it's still really beautiful.
>> We're headed towards the palace where
the people have sweetly resides.
>> Hey, and it's windy and dark,
>> but it's not cold. Thank you.
>> That's true.
>> We have the tiniest little sliver of sun
to try and get some light on this stuff.
It's really gorgeous down here. You
know, I love
>> college.
[Music]
>> What's a palace without a fountain?
>> Well, the palace is really gorgeous. I
mean, I guess if you're the king, you
should have an amazing view. It does.
>> Oh, I got a better view.
>> Katie, hi.
Stunning sculptures all over.
>> Guards are coming.
[Music]
[Music]
Three.
[Music]
[Music]
Well, that was really cool. Got a little
changing the guard ceremony. Couldn't
imagine being a guard doing my duty and
having people kill me, but it's cool for
us.
[Music]
Never thought we'd find anything that
would make us beg for cobblestones, but
uh rounded river rock with gravel in
between did it. That may be the most
brutal prepared walking surface we've
ever walked across.
>> Why don't you quit whining?
I've seen that one around a few times.
[Music]
You know, when it's time for lunch, we
head to Kebab.
What an adorable little entryway.
>> This little place had baklava, homemade
peach tea. We're trying. That doesn't
really matter. But Katie has graciously
volunteered to try the baklava.
She didn't know she was graciously
volunteering for that.
>> Oh, yeah. This will leave you sticky for
hours.
That is really good. Sweet.
>> You like it?
>> I really do.
>> Cool.
High five.
>> Never a bad time for kebab as we both
fill.
>> Spicy sauce is good. Almost never go
wrong with kebab. Just ask the pigeons.
>> You guys want to get some coffee or
something?
>> Well, you know, we got to stop in here.
[Music]
>> That's really good. It's very light.
It's cinnamony, but fairly sweet.
[Music]
You only have a few hours or an
afternoon in Stockholm. Say go to
Oldtown and just wander around.
>> Yeah,
>> it's really beautiful. And there's great
food and coffee and
>> artwork.
>> Artwork and lots of souvenirs. You can
definitely find those.
[Music]
Well, Stockholm, much like some of the
other places we've been recently, is
absolutely gorgeous.
>> The alleys, the old buildings,
>> the sun.
>> Yay.
>> Yay. This is definitely a place that's
worth visiting and spending a little bit
of time in. I'm grateful we have the
opportunity just to wander around and
explore.
>> All right. I don't know what we're doing
now, but you probably know that. Who
knew just another sunny day in
Stockholm, Sweden, was something we
could actually say? And happy birthday,
Chris.
>> A thank you honey.
>> Best birthday present ever is to live
with you.
>> A
>> we have a few more hours to wander
around the city before we hop our ferry
to Helsinki, Finland. Don't know why I
said it like it was a game show.
>> Rostan Paradise.
>> But it is a place I'm looking forward to
going to
[Applause]
swimming.

here. But a cute little Katie sitting on
her rear.
>> Yep.
>> Stockholm is freaking cool.
>> We have not yet had Swedish meatballs.
Katie found this place. Supposed to have
great ones. Looks like there's a line
though.
>> Thankfully, we came a little early. All
right, so we got the different types of
meatballs. All those that you can choose
from. Unfortunately, I can't have the
reindeer. I was going to go with that
one, but I'm going to try another local
classic, the moose.
Katie's going to get the classic beef
and pork. Add into that a Swedish cheese
platter and some roasted garlic bread.
And I think we will set ourselves up
well for the ferry ride. Katie found a
friend.
So cute.
>> Katie, what do you think? Will you wear
that shirt?
>> No.
>> I didn't think so. All right. with the
lovely sound of construction in the
background as we have all over Europe
now. We got garlic bread. We've got the
cheeses aged from a couple years to one
year. Linganberries and meatballs.
>> You'll have to talk loud.
>> Oh my goodness.
That is absolutely delicious and boiling
hot. Oh, you have to come here. How the
potatoes
>> creamy. You want to try my mousse? You
got the beef and pork. I got the mousse.
The moose.
You can tell. See, I got my little moose
sign.
>> Has some herbs in it. A little a
stronger flavor. I like my classical
better, but the moose is really good.
>> If you can hear us over the
construction,
>> this place was amazing.
>> Incredible. I've said this a couple
times on this trip. Best thing we've had
to eat yet, I think.
>> Yeah, it was wonderful.
>> Amazing. Not cheap, but worth every
penny. Yeah.
>> All right. Off to the ferry. There's our
ride.
Never mind. That's our ride over there.
It looks way prettier.
[Music]
>> Keep drinking this coffee.
>> Lick the thumbs up and subscribe. Oh,
>> no. That was good.
>> That was good. That was good.
