It's already time to leave Krakow. I don't want to leave.
Well, I do because it's cold. I want to come back for the summer.
Krakow was amazing. I could totally spend the summer here anytime.
Intercity Express from Krakow to Warsaw.
It's comfy. Tons of space. Very nice.
We also have a meal included. That's awesome.
We've been on 15 different first class trains.
We made it to Warsaw. It's beautiful and cold.
Hopefully the sun will come out and warm up in a little bit.
But head to the hotel and going to get warm.
Another day. Another free upgrade from IHG.
Lovely. You got top floor here in Warsaw and it's already a pretty view.
Once those clouds lift, I think it'll be gorgeous.
Yeah. We're just going to chill.
Warsaw is beautiful, but my lord is it cold. That is not a hazy camera.
Those are the low clouds that are over the city. They finally raised.
Most of the day it's been fog, so I think you can hardly see through it.
Really, Stephen King?
I'll tell you, it's a beautiful city, but the flower markets alone are a reason to come here.
The smells, the sights. Amazing.
Finally, the fog's gone. Just in time for night to fall.
All right, Katie, come here and kiss me. I found some.
Mistletoe alert.
It's a ways away, but...
The city also sports a great assortment of artistic sculptures and historic monuments
and a great international food scene.
I looked for some of the best restaurants in town and one of them was a Korean place,
which happened to be right below our hotel.
So we're at Miss Kimchi.
Hey, do you want to split a kimchi cupcake with bacon frosting?
Every time we walked by, there was a line of anywhere from 10 to 30 people.
We waited like 45 minutes, I think.
Yeah.
And the line's even longer now.
There's a line from when they open when they close every day, so this should be good.
Wow, spicy chicken. Kate's got the spicy beef.
Mmm, that's really good.
I think she wanted to place a popcorn.
Sweet Jesus, I love Korean food.
This is really good Korean food.
Nice. And it's like $10 a plate.
Perfect.
All right, out we go.
The Nero Green Cafe is everywhere around here.
I had to give it a shot before we got out of here.
They look lovely.
Everybody's drinking their coffee and they got set up at all.
How can you beat that?
Ah, you can't beat that, can you?
Well, at some point, I should probably start videoing today.
Poland has been absolutely incredible.
Warsaw was beautiful.
Even though it was chilly, the last two days it warmed up a little bit.
Didn't explore very much.
Kate's been a little under the weather, so it's kind of hung out.
Oh, what'd she say?
Next stop, Berlin.
Hallo Berlin.
And just another shout out to the awesome hospitality at IHG.
Intercontinental upgraded us to a club lounge room.
It's like 500 square feet.
And we have a gorgeous view of Berlin.
We can even see the Golden Angel out there.
Look at that.
I forget what that's called.
Die Berliner Siegesäule.
But there it is.
And they really take care of us at the lounge.
Back on the bus in Berlin.
Time to go do some shopping.
It's beautiful.
A little wet.
It's great to be back in Berlin.
And Berlin is awesome.
Super important part is secondhand clothes shopping before we go on the cruise.
Wow, I thought I was having an exciting trip to the secondhand clothes store.
But that's so exciting.
So, did you buy anything?
Nada.
There's this chain.
We're not done.
This is a different one.
There's a chain called Humana.
We found them all over Europe.
They're amazing quality and prices on used clothing.
We get stuff and then we just donate it once we're done with our cruise.
Let's go get some coffee.
Enough about me.
What's on your schedule?
And we're in Germany, so we've got to try Currywurst at Currywurst 61.
Amazing.
Hot.
This is the best sausage I've ever tasted.
My favorite thing in Germany.
The Kaiser Wilhelm Church here.
Wow.
This is the Remembrance Hall at the Kaiser Wilhelm Church.
It's free to the public.
It is really beautiful.
Not huge, but worth a walk in for sure.
That's a pretty good take.
Insane politics.
Look at the Second World War of 1939-45.
You got a museum all set up in there.
Ah, it's freaking cool.
What you got over there? Tacos?
And because we're, you know, in Germany, we have to try the Mexican food.
So we're at Chapada Mexican Kitchen.
Which is supposed to be amazeballs.
I love Mexican food.
According to our friend Texas T.
Oh man, this is amazeball.
Oh, that's a video.
I never operated a camera before.
For what is probably our last adventure in Munich,
we had to come check out the Mauerpark.
Famous graffiti wall.
Part of the old Berlin Wall.
I think this is the last part that's still standing.
I guess they got a little museum down that way as we went there last time.
Crazy times.
Even crazier to think that the entire generation that
doesn't really have any concept of what went on.
Interesting history.
And the park's cool.
And the graffiti is ever growing.
I believe that is us finished up in Berlin on this trip.
It hasn't been raining at all.
It's been a little chilly.
The weather's been beautiful, but it seems to be turning.
We're just getting ready for our last leg of our U-Rail pass.
I can't believe it's coming to an end so soon.
Seriously, I could live in Berlin at least for the summer.
What are some highlights of Berlin for you?
The food, the people.
And the transportation has been so easy.
Actually, there's nothing I don't like about the city.
Well, except for winter.
Well, fall and winter.
Maybe spring.
And he's recording while he's going down the stairs.
So that would be a moron.
Moron.
But did you die?
I didn't die.
We'll leave you with this stunning view of Berlin Tower.
Off you go, Lassie.
Off you go.
All right, gorgeous morning for our last day in Berlin.
Heading to the train station.
Beautiful day.
Berlin certainly has given us the most beautiful of mornings before we head off.
Even the Hauptbahnhof, the main train station here, is gorgeous.
What was your favorite part of Berlin?
I don't know.
I found my travel address that I've been looking for forever.
So I have to say that that's not my favorite.
You wouldn't know.
Every part of Berlin is wonderful.
The people, the food, the walking is walkable.
Public transportation is incredible.
We are heading on to the last leg of our U-Rail journey.
We got Berlin to Frankfurt today and then the journey is over.
Our pass has expired today.
Holy cow.
If you've made it to this point in the video, you have seen a lot.
Because over the last two months, we have seen a lot.
You're gonna have to watch the video to remember what all we've seen.
Anyways, we're gonna go grab some breakfast.
Well, not breakfast.
We're gonna get some lunch to take with us so we don't have to worry about it.
We can just hang out in our hotel tonight and then we head off towards warmer climbs tomorrow.
Yep.
Wow, I guess you really can start anywhere.
Jacob's Way.
2,971 kilometers to Santiago de Compostela.
And that is some dedication.
Oh, that's a long way.
That is a long ways.
One last trip on the first class ice train.
A week in Scotland's shame.
Or you will not try.
Click the thumbs up and subscribe.
No, that was good.
That was good.
