Hey everyone, we want to welcome you to our podcast today.
I am your host, Don Boyer.
And I'm Melinda Boyer, and we are so happy that you are with us today.
Hey, let me ask you a question.
Have you ever came to a point in your life where you wondered what was taking God so
long to answer your prayer, whether it was over finances or healing or a miracle that
you need?
Well, I think all of us have come to that point, and that's what we're going to discuss
on today's podcast.
We'll be right back.
You know, there's a lot of things that people ask when it comes to, where is my miracle?
Where's my healing?
And, you know, we do all the prayers, and we want to say that we're operating in faith,
but where is it?
Like somebody said, God is never late, but somebody else said, yeah, but he's never early.
This morning I was praying, and I came across and I thought, okay, Lord, although I know
that you're there and you answer my prayers all the time, but sometimes I want them faster
than I get them.
Right.
We all want them faster.
I mean, you know.
But it doesn't mean that he doesn't answer our prayers, and it doesn't mean that he's
not here with us.
And I think that's where people seem to miss it sometimes, because they're not getting
their prayers answered right away, or their so-called miracles that they want so bad,
right?
But they are there, and they do come, and I think we miss it when it does come.
Right.
Yeah, because we become so impatient, but part of that problem is that we don't understand
the real enlightenment when we're talking about how does God manifest?
For instance, does God use things as a point of contact?
So when people get prayed for healing, most of the time they want it instantaneous.
So we have to ask the question.
But some people do, don't they?
There are a lot of people that do.
Yeah.
And you know what?
I'm glad that you said that, so I'll go back to this one thought, but this made me think
about this.
The devil is always going to try to pull us into the arena of the unknown, right?
Yes.
Why did so-and-so that taught healing die of sickness and disease?
Why did so-and-so who was a tither and a giver, their business went bankrupt?
So all of these things happen that really, we don't have an answer.
We don't really know why something happens like that.
But I know one thing, the devil will always want to bring us into that arena, and as long
as we stay there trying to answer those questions, we're going to get defeated.
So I don't know why things happen the way that they do.
I don't know why some people get healed and others don't.
I don't know why some people are prayed for and get out of their deathbed, and others
get prayed for and they kick the bucket.
I have no idea, right?
But I know the devil has tormented my mind over the years on questions like that.
Absolutely.
So we've got to stay out of there.
Okay, so I was thinking about something else when that came up, what were we talking about?
Oh, does God use points of contact, okay?
Does God use points of contact?
Or does He use things to heal us, right?
How does it work?
I mean, does God oppose medicine?
Does He oppose nutrition?
Does it happen just supernaturally?
Well, you know, I don't know.
You know, it says in the Bible, seek and you shall find.
Exactly.
Right?
So is it eliminating the medicine?
I don't think so.
I don't think that it's eliminating surgery when you need it because it still keeps you
alive and I think that's a miracle that you're still alive after something, you know, something
as far as surgery, or you're getting healed by it, right?
But I, you know, that's a hard question because I always thought of that scripture that says
seek and you shall find.
Because if you're not looking for it, what are you doing?
Right.
Well, here is the thing that we want to seek on this podcast today is we want to find out,
do we have biblical evidence or biblical scripture that we can look to to see if God does indeed
use things to heal or does He have points of contact?
So there's a scripture, I believe it's in John.
Yes, it's actually.
Let's look at this.
And this was talking about a time when a blind man came to Jesus.
Yes, it's John 9, 6.
Why don't you go ahead and read that?
And it says, then he spit on the ground, made mud with his saliva, and spread the mud over
the blind man's eyes.
Go ahead.
Well, the blind, and then he told the blind man to go wash it off and he's seen, right?
And he came back seen.
Absolutely.
But, you know, that was a point of contact.
That was the.
The mud.
But was it his, people will say, well, but was it his saliva?
You know, was it the healing aspect of Jesus that made that man see again?
I think it all had to do with everything.
Well, you know.
Or was it the man that, or was it the man that believed that he could see again one day?
Man, you know, you're getting some good revelation.
I think it's that sparkly jacket you got on.
I think so too.
Right, getting you some good insights here.
Deep revelation.
You're right.
Some people could say because it was the saliva of Jesus.
It had special anointing in it.
That may be true.
I don't know.
Okay.
It could be the minerals in the mud, right?
Could it have been the nutrients in the mud?
I don't know.
Jesus knew.
The fact was, Jesus told many people, your faith has made you whole.
So was it the man's faith?
Or was it a combination of all of them?
But the point is, whether it was one, two, three, or all of the above was the answer.
The fact of the matter is, that was a point of contact.
And sometimes we need that point of contact to be able to release our faith.
For instance, like when we get prayed for and we get anointed with oil,
there's nothing special per se about the oil itself, but it's that point of contact.
And I think that's important.
Now, there was a leopard.
So he went to the prophet Elisha, and he was positive that Elisha was going to come out,
meet him, put oil on him, pray for him, do all these elaborate things.
But that's not what happened.
In fact, I think it's in 2 Kings.
You may have it in your notes there.
Go ahead and read that.
Now, he told him to dip in the river seven times.
Was there anything magical or special about that water?
Probably not.
Now, here again, was it the salt in the water?
Was it the number of times that he did?
We can speculate on those things, but what we do know, it was a point of contact.
He could have said, hey, go over there and grab a banana off a tree and eat that.
But you said something interesting, that he wanted to be healed at the very beginning.
He knew that he was going to come and somebody was going to come and heal him.
Was it the fact that he believed and he had faith that he could be healed?
Again, how many times do we go out there?
I do this all the time.
We're going to go in there.
This and this is going to happen, and then it doesn't happen, right?
But he already expected that.
I think my point is that all of us go out expecting something,
but sometimes it doesn't come out the way we want it to.
Even though he wanted him to come to him personally, it didn't happen.
But then he told him, just go dip yourself, right?
Go do it this way.
But you're expecting something else, but you still have that expectation
of believing that something's going to happen.
I think that's sometimes where we miss the fact that it still happened.
Exactly.
Who cares how it happens, right?
The fact is, did we get the manifestation?
Did we get the results?
I think a lot of times the enemy comes in and he'll get people convoluted on that
because the guy's a thief.
That's what thieves do.
They steal.
Satan wants to steal our healing.
He wants to steal all the blessings from God.
If he can trip us up by us getting all messed up about the method or the process...
Or the way we're thinking about how it's going to actually happen.
Right.
Yeah, that's where I think we get so lost in what we're believing for
because we already have it...
We have a preconceived idea.
Yeah, we have a preconceived idea and our imagination will take over
and then we think it's going to happen this way and it doesn't happen that way.
It happens something completely different.
But it still happens and I think we miss that so many times.
Yeah, we need to look at the end result.
Yes, yes.
That's what matters.
The end result.
Not the how-to, not the process.
Or the when.
Or even the when.
Or even the how.
The when, the how, it doesn't matter.
What matters is it manifested.
Yes.
It came.
In fact, there was a time when the children of Israel was going into battle
and I don't know if we read that or not.
I may have sent you that scripture or not.
But it was a time where God told them,
march around the Jericho walls seven times.
And then on the seventh one, you blow the trumpet.
So we have to ask once again,
was it the sound and the vibration and the frequency of the trumpets?
Was it faith?
What was it?
For me, the way I think, I'm thinking,
okay, seven times he had to go dip in the river, right?
Seven times they had to walk around Jericho.
So I don't know if there's a number sequence.
That's just how I think.
I'm like, oh, seven, the number seven.
And most people, yeah, that's it, the number seven.
We're going to be healed on the number seven.
Dasin named it George Casans.
I wanted to name your child.
I know.
Seven, right?
All right, enough Seinfeld.
So you're right.
But we always go back to the same foundation that we could hold on to
was there was something that was a point of contact.
And when we developed that,
because a lot of people try to exercise faith and their loss.
It's like looking into an invisible realm
and they just have nothing to hold on to.
So God gives us these points of contacts
that allows us to release our faith in it.
For instance, there was a time where the disciples.
Yeah, go ahead and read that.
Okay, it's Mark 6, 12 through 13.
So the disciples went out telling everyone
they met to repent of their sins and turn to God.
And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people,
anointing them with olive oil.
Right.
Okay, so here we go again, looking at the oil.
Now, one of the things that we always practice is
we practice daily communion.
We practice Bible reading, prayer, anointing in the morning,
ourselves, the children, right?
With oil.
I put this, they love that.
In fact, the other day, the kids were going on a vacation.
Oh, not vacation.
What was it?
They were going camping.
They were going camping, right?
So Mason comes in, he's 10.
And I said, Mason, let me pray for you before you go.
He said, okay.
So I got the oil, got a little oil.
And I let him smell it first so that he could smell
the frankincense and myrrh.
Because you want to be able to have our children
and grandchildren have a good experience.
So he smelled it and I anointed him.
And after he got done, he ran out of the office
and he told his brother, Jaden.
Jaden, go into grandpa's room.
He's going to anoint you and pray with you with oil.
They love that, right?
And so it's a point of contact.
I put on one of my posts on Facebook
and talking about communion and about oil.
And someone put a message that said,
religion, religion, religion.
God doesn't use those things anymore.
And I said, you know, if some people would just
remove their beautiful head from the clouds
and read the scripture,
they wouldn't leave comments like that.
One of the things is interesting.
Again, we're talking about points of contact.
So we went to this fair or antique thing
where they had a lot of vendors and home crafts.
And, you know, when we go in there,
we see all of them, the candles and the oils and everything.
I want them all.
We all want them all.
You want them all.
I want most of them.
So we went up to this one booth,
this one vendor where he had homemade sticks, walking sticks.
And I thought they were really cool.
And so I went to go look at them.
And I started talking to the vendor
and he started talking about how he made them
and all these things.
And they're very artistic.
They're a little bit of bling bling like yours.
And I'm like, wow, these are really cool.
And then he said, I said, well, how much are these?
He said, they're a hundred dollars each.
Immediately, my mind said,
your bones and your legs are perfectly fine.
You do not need a walking stick and pay a hundred bucks for it.
Yeah, but it was bling bling.
But it was bling bling.
But I was really attracted to it.
So I picked it up.
I put it back.
I picked it up.
I put it back.
I picked it up.
You even walked away from it.
We left, right?
We left because I convinced myself
I was not going to spend a hundred dollars
on a walking cane that I did not need.
So as we were walking by, before we left,
I had visited that place at least five times.
I kept picking up the cane and putting it back
and picking it up and asking more questions.
Finally, I left because I'm not going to pay a hundred dollars
because I don't need a cane.
But as we were getting, but as we were walking,
that cane, that walking stick kept exploding inside of me.
It just was just this unique type of feeling.
But my logical mind says,
that's going to be a waste of a hundred dollars.
So I was ready to say, I'm not going to do it.
But right when we were getting relief,
I told you and Carlos and Maria, I said,
I got to go back.
I got to go get that.
I got to go get that stick.
So I ran over there.
I got the stick.
And when I brought it home, exactly what I thought.
There was no place to put it.
I had absolutely zero use for it.
It didn't fit anywhere.
I tried to put it on certain walls.
I tried to put it on certain closets.
It didn't fit anywhere.
Yeah, so it sits in the stand.
So I just put it in the corner and said,
I wasted a hundred dollars.
I should have just listened to my head.
But here's where it becomes now interesting and funny.
So after a few months went by,
that thing is just collecting dust in the corner.
And one morning I'm cleaning the library.
And where I sit and pray in the morning,
across is my red robe, right?
By the bookshelf.
And as I'm cleaning, the Lord told me,
take your red robe where you put it on that mannequin.
And put it right next to your chair.
Now, the important thing is God will speak to you.
The Holy Spirit will speak to you.
And if you're sensitive and you just listen and obey,
it always turns out correct.
Even though it may not make any sense.
So I took it and I put the mannequin there
with my red robe right there on my right hand side.
And then he said, take the walking stick
and put it right in the middle of that.
So I did that.
I took the walking stick and I put it in there.
And I said, wow, that looks, you know what?
This feels right.
Looks pretty cool.
So I just left it there.
And in the mornings, I would go up there and I'd pray.
And for a long time, nothing happened.
There was nothing unusual.
And then one morning, about 4.30 in the morning, I'm praying.
And really in deep into intercession,
really having a good conversation with the Lord.
And he said, pick up that stick.
So here's my stick.
So I picked it up.
And when I grabbed it like this,
I started prophesying over nations, over churches,
over ministries, over individuals and over projects.
And God said that this is your prophetic prayer stick.
Now, most mornings when I'm in prayer,
there'll be a certain time
like when the angels would stir the water,
he would tell me, grab that stick.
And I'll grab that stick.
In fact, the other morning when he told me to grab it,
he said, pound it on the ground.
And it was so loud.
It was like thunder.
It brought me back into consciousness.
And I thought, oh God, I'm gonna wake up Melinda.
I said, Lord, can we tap a little less loud, right?
But now it's when I'm praying at certain times,
he'll say, now pick up the stick.
I mean, it's like a shifting gear, right?
In a car, we're going deeper down.
Now, I know that sounds hilarious.
And it sounds absolutely crazy, but it's absolutely true.
When you pick up this stick, when I pick up this stick,
when he tells me to, when he tells me to,
you can feel the vibration, the electricity,
the anointing of God in this.
And he'll have me pray over certain things
and certain people.
It's like Moses.
You know what?
Exactly.
That's what happened.
And I don't know if I said it to you.
Did I say that?
Yeah, I think you did.
Let's look at that.
Yes.
Okay.
Here it is.
It's in Exodus 4, 1, 3.
But Moses protested again.
What if they won't believe me or listen to me?
What if they say the Lord never appeared to you?
Then the Lord asked him, what is it in your hand?
A shepherd's staff, Moses replied.
Throw it down on the ground, the Lord told him.
So Moses threw the staff and it turned into a snake.
Moses jumped back.
Exactly.
He got afraid.
Yeah.
And it's really interesting because when that happened,
when I hit the ground, it was so loud, it startled me.
Startled me back into like being present where I was at.
And so again, it's a point of contact.
So I know we're running out of time.
So the other examples I wanted to share was like with Paul.
The Bible said that he took handkerchiefs
and sent them to people and they were healed.
Peter, his shadow walking by, people that went by his shadow
and was touched by his shadow got healed.
So there's nothing super special about a object.
It's the anointing or it's the presence
or the power of God that engulfs that object,
whether it be oil or whether it would be communion
or whether it be dipping in the water, whatever that might be.
You know, as you're talking about this,
it brought me back to how I work out at the gym, right?
If you're in your mind and you think that you can't lift something,
you're not going to.
Okay.
But if you are out of your mind, and I'm thinking spiritual realm…
And most people are out of their mind, right?
But most people aren't in the spiritual realm, right?
But if you put your mind into that spiritual realm of healing,
of protection, of feeling good, you know, it's like you said,
when you are not in the physical realm, but you're in that spiritual realm,
and you bang that, it brought you back, like it woke you up, like it startled you.
But when people are in that realm, things happen.
Things manifest.
You know, and I think sometimes we don't get there enough.
You know, we're not in that spiritual realm to feel that anointing from God.
We're not in that spiritual realm to feel that healing that God wants us to have.
You know, and I think we need to find that.
You know, not only do we need to find it, we need to operate in it.
And here's the interesting thing.
We did a podcast on quantum physics.
And by the way, if you have not watched that podcast, make sure you go to our channel
and look it up, because it is a really, really dynamic podcast that we did.
But I love this, and I learned it from Lin Minc.
And he said…
Lin Minc?
Lin.
Yeah, Lin Minc.
He's gone home to be with the Lord, but he said one time that science is nothing more
than discovering God's laws.
That's all it is.
So a lot of times Christians will feel uncomfortable talking about quantum physics and quantum
mechanics and quantum entanglement, epigenetics, all these things, talk about vibration and
energy and frequency.
God created that.
Yes.
That's how Jesus walked on water.
This is how he calmed the storm through these areas of quantum physics.
Now, we know it as faith.
We know it as words.
Life and death is in the power of tongue.
But it's all the same thing.
So as we come to the close of the podcast, I think it's important that all of our audience
and all of our viewers and followers, that's important that we all get together and we
understand that God uses many things, whether it's supplements, whether it's medicine, whether
it's surgery, whatever it might be, God will use things to bring about the manifestation
sometimes that we're waiting for.
Yes.
Amen to that.
You know, I absolutely agree to that, you know, and don't forget to stay in that spiritual
realm as much as possible and listen to your intuition because you know that that's God
speaking to you.
Absolutely.
And if you need prayer, make sure you go to our website, rameseed.tv.
I got it right this time.
Make sure you go there and on the contact page, let us know how we can agree with you,
how we can pray for you, because when two or three are gathered together in his name,
he is there in the midst.
Again, I'm your host, Don Boyer.
It's been great to be with you.
We look forward to seeing you on the next podcast.
