OVERGROWN ABANDONED PUTT PUTT GOLF & more - Sto-Kent Family Entertainment- Stow, Ohio

Hey guys, I'm here in Stow, Ohio at the abandoned Stow Kent Family Entertainment. Used to live right around the corner in Monroe Falls a long time ago. Um, I didn't never came here, but I I do remember it being here. So, yeah, they got like putt putt, uh, volleyball, you know, the typical I don't know if they have go-karts. Um, you know, the typical like family entertainment stuff. Um, so yeah. Um, also this closed in 2021. There is plans for this to become a Vans pizza, which is a similar concept. Looks pretty shabby. Let's go walk around and see what we can find. There it is. There's an ambulance. Stow Kent. Why would you take the W off of Stow? I don't get that. But yeah, look. Look how shabby this is. 2021. I don't think this has seen an update in quite some time. There is the volleyball court. You I remember coming to places like this as a kid. These were always a lot of fun. That is sadly overgrown. Like a mini amusement park. Not obviously nowhere near like a jog lake, but it gives you that kind of feeling. Salty sea crab snack. Okay. Wow. Look at that. A surfboard and the string lights and the straw. Wow. Bud Light. I guess they sold adult beverages here. Wow. This does feel like something that you would find at Jo Lake. Wow. The string lights. People have dumped off their trash. I'm sure somebody's probably slept here. This is a glasses lens. Very strange. Let's see if we can walk up to this uh volleyball court. Remember Mr. Divots in North Roy? I think that place is still around if I'm not mistaken. This reminds me of Mr. Divots. So, they had picnic tables up here and they must have blown off. Oh, shoot. There's the putt putt course. I didn't even see it till I got up here because it's so overgrown. Here we can get into the volleyball net. Wow. Bud light. There's a little sand toy. And that chair. Wow. This is a cool one. [Applause] There's a sign over there, too. Let's walk on the putt putt course. Wow, this place is freaking awesome. I don't Yeah. No, I haven't explored anything like Well, I did go to Joa Lake, but that's a huge amusement park and this is like a little one. Wow. It was always really cool when the putt putt courses had like a water element to them, which I think this one did. This is nuts. Oh, there is some water down there. How cool is that? Yeah. So, this was like a a stream. I was no good at putt putt whenever I played it. I was I lost a lot at putt putt, but I still had a lot of fun. So, [Applause] This is pretty cool. Wow, there's animals. There's a golf called full. Pretty cool putt putt for us. This almost looks like a McDonald's [Music] shady over here with their shovel here. Wow, that's so sad. On a day like this, this place should be open and thriving. Well, they are opening this back up. There's a sign right here. I'm going to see what that says. I'm sure it probably says Stoke Family Entertainment. Oh, it says Fish Creek Golf. It's pretty awesome. This place is pretty cool. You like it? >> Mhm. >> Oh yeah. Look at the wall. This is where you would write your scores down. >> There's a factory over there. This is probably where you bought the putt putt stuff. Putt putt, you know, buy your golf balls or whatever. Oh, nice. Uh, wow. the ladder. Okay, now let's look at the main building. It's got a lot of boards on it. I like the colorful um decorations. What? Oh my goodness. Look at that tile. the random little tiles. Kind of weird. What was that? I wonder top. Okay, this building looks pretty shabby. I wonder if this the new place is just going to knock this down. This place looks bad. The lizards and the random shoes. That's creepy. All right, and that will complete my look at the abandoned Stowent Family Entertainment. That was pretty unique. I'd like to see more places like this. Hopefully this place becomes something good and um you know, life is brought back. It's supposed to. So hopefully it happens. Oh yeah.
