Hi guys, welcome back to Steve's Fine Dining.
Today we are trying Vietnamese for first time in China.
And it's called Miu Nhi.
So let's go inside and see how it is.
Today we're gonna try some Vietnamese food in Phat San.
And this menu is pretty simple.
I think this is the smallest menu I've ever seen
since I got here.
Only two pages long, let's take a look.
That's the front page.
Everything looks really good.
They take really nice pictures.
Wonder if there's anything in the back, let me check.
Oh, okay, three pages, I'm sorry.
So the first thing we order here
is the Vietnamese coffee.
It looks really good.
It looks better than the one in New York City.
Look like a lab equipment here.
Still dripping.
Are they supposed to give us a cup of ice?
That's for hot, right?
Yeah.
That's gonna be hot.
So the first thing we order.
All right guys, the first thing that came
is the locomotive, we call it pho che tau, right?
On the menu, it actually say locomotive beef with noodle.
So, let's try it out.
Looks really good and smells really good.
Ready for noodle.
Lime.
All right, another thing just came.
It's called a Saigon pork neck with pineapple.
Looks really, really good.
It comes with a sauce.
Let's try it out.
I wanna try this before the noodle.
It's really sour.
This is really good.
Excellent pork.
The pork neck is really, really tender.
It's seasoned perfectly.
The pineapple, so super fresh.
Tastes like they just cut up the pineapple.
Now let's get the locomotive noodle.
Ready?
Beef ball.
Brisket.
The colour of the broth is really good.
Different kind of spoon they use here.
Really good broth.
Chicken skewer.
Let's try the chicken skewer.
This is really, really good.
Very tender.
Not spicy at all.
They sprinkle some peanut on top.
Really, really good.
Ready for chicken skewer.
One more noodle.
Really good texture.
All right guys, so we're done eating here
at the Vietnamese restaurant called the Miu Nhi.
Very good food here.
First Vietnamese food in entire trip of China,
Macau and Hong Kong.
This probably the best Vietnamese coffee I ever had
in my life.
Extremely tasty and strong.
Really, really good.
All the dishes are really good too.
Like the pork neck, it was so tender.
Most of the pork here in China, very tender
and very tasty, marinated perfectly.
Chicken skewer, very good with crumbs of peanut
on top of it.
Seasoned very good, very tender.
The pho, the texture is really good.
The beef, the brisket was a little tough.
That was expected, but the beef ball was really good.
But overall, very good experience.
Would definitely come back anytime we feel
like having Vietnamese.
Now let's hear from Mr. Steve.
Hello everyone, hope everyone's doing well.
I also enjoyed this meal tremendously.
The atmosphere is casual and as you can see,
it's a little noisy, so it's like family style
type of restaurant.
The food is exceptional.
Starting from the pork, it was also,
it tastes like char siu,
but it was also sprinkled with chopped peanuts.
It was really delicious.
I also enjoyed the skewers.
It looks like it had turmeric and it was also barbecued
or was it grilled?
Grilled.
It was grilled charcoal.
It was good.
We shared the pho and it was really good.
It tastes just like at home at Vegas where we had the pho.
It was really good.
The broth was made perfectly.
The noodles were good.
The meatballs was good.
Like what Steve said, the brisket and the slices of beef,
it was a little tough size, so that's expected.
The coffee was good.
So overall, I enjoyed all the meal here.
So I hope to see you soon, bye.
