Hello friends!
Thank you so much for the love and support on my last video — your comments truly carried me through some of the harder moments last week. Grief doesn’t disappear overnight, and the breakup still lingers quietly in the background. But in the meantime, life is still happening and so I want to be present for it.
In this vlog, I’m easing back into the everyday: spending slow mornings alone, leaning on my friends and family, saying yes to small plans, and gently reshaping my routines. Hope you enjoy!
xx,
Julia

Hello!
Hi!
Thank you.
She's sniffing.
Your parents are on vacation.
It's auntie time now.
It's time with auntie.
Yes?
Yesterday, I left Joggeby at home all day and I felt so bad,
but the office gets quite hectic on Mondays and Thursdays
because those are our anchor days.
And then, on top of that, there are a lot of people visiting from the SF office,
so it was just a lot.
And not only is she a tiny, tiny dog,
she is also a little anxious
and I think she's a little scared of new environments.
But today, there are definitely less people in the office,
a lot less hectic,
and so I'm going to bring her in for half a day
and try to see how she feels.
This is a new blush technique that I've been using
because remember when I was in Korea, I did that photo shoot?
So she used this Lily By Red blush in the color 3 Love Beam
and she used this sponge to apply it.
It just looks super natural and it blends so well.
And then I've been putting on just a little extra
because it can be a little light and I love blush.
And then she applied the remaining on the nose and chin.
You know where we're going?
This is her bag.
Whenever I pick up this bag, she's like,
oh my god, we're going outside!
And she needs to be carried like a little baby.
Okay, let's go.
Are we ready to go to work, Joggeby?
Are we ready?
Yes!
It's been a really busy work from home day today
because I've been working on a very big launch
for the past two months
and it's finally launching next week
so things have been really hectic as we try to wrap it up.
I'm also waiting for a very special delivery today
or else I would be in office
and I think it's going to come in a couple hours.
To be honest, it was really difficult for me
for the first couple of weeks post-breakup
to be in this apartment
because this space just holds so many memories.
It's not like we were even living together
but we spent the majority of weekends here in this apartment.
My sisters and my friends suggested
that I start replacing things around the house
and at first I was really not open to it
because obviously when you're going through it
it's really difficult to really hear
what people around you have to say.
Also, I think I'm just way too emotional
because I really attribute a lot of feelings and meanings
to objects and things.
So a lot of the furniture in this apartment
it's kind of hard for me to let go.
And now after getting through the thick of it
obviously I'm not completely out.
I don't think I'm anywhere near there yet
but I'm definitely at a better place
to, you know, do daily things
to pick my life back up again
and to start thinking about change.
I think that it's just going to be really nice
to start swapping and upgrading some pieces around the house
to bring in new energy
and start to reclaim the space for myself again.
Okay, so I just cleared out and cleaned
my little sleeping alcove area
and I think you all know where this is going.
I'm upgrading my mattress
and thank you so much to Lisa
for sponsoring this portion of today's video.
I had my old mattress for over six years.
It made it through four moves with me
and let's just say it was time.
Lisa had so many different options
but I ended up going with the Sapira Chill Hybrid
in a queen size.
The setup was super easy.
It arrived right to my door, compressed in a box
and expanded in just minutes.
The Sapira Chill has seven layers of premium foam
and over a thousand individually wrapped springs
plus targeted support around the hips and edges.
And if you sleep hot, you'll love the cooling quilt top
that actually pulls heat away from your body.
I went with the medium firm option
and it hits that perfect middle ground of being soft
but still really supportive.
Beyond comfort, I love what Lisa stands for.
Their mattresses are designed, assembled and shipped
from their factory in Arizona
using environmentally cautious materials.
You also get a 100 night risk-free trial
and they back their quality
with a limited lifetime warranty.
If you've been thinking about upgrading your sleep setup,
now is the time.

Good morning.
That was the best sleep that I've had
in months, actually.
Like, I don't really want to get up.
But this one's up.
Hi.
Good morning.
Oh my gosh.
Look at the rest of my apartment, guys.
It's a mess.
Hi.
You like the new bed too?
Is it matchy?
Yeah, it does match your...
My socks. I didn't do it on purpose.
Petition to change Julia's gems
to Julia's jewels
because that just makes more sense.
Like alliteration.
Yeah, but it's not like jewels with a J.
It is.
Jewels start with a J.
Jewels?
Julia's jewels.
Oh, yeah, yeah, you're right.
You're right, you're right, you're right.
She's a bright individual,
but we just came from Pilates,
so I think she sweat out some of the brain cells.
Yeah, JJ.
We haven't voted on it.
It's a top two, though.
Okay, well.
Top two.
This is my petition, guys.
That's gonna be embarrassing.
Yo.
Sweet.
Good morning.
Hi.
I'm going on a little picnic today.
The weather has been so beautiful this weekend.
It's like mid-70s today,
and I wanted to bring a little dessert,
so I made matcha mochi brownie.
This is my first time making it.
Let's cut this thing.
I wish I had more space on my counter
to film for you guys.
This is tough.
Small kitchen problems.
Taste test.
Mmm.
The texture.
Mission accomplished.
Cheers!
