Hi, I'm Brad.
Hi, I'm John.
All right, so I'm going back about a year.
Okay, I wish we could.
Because that's when this came out. I think it was October of 2024.
Wait, that's in the future.
Yeah, time drift.
We're not in the 20s yet, are we?
No, no, we're still in 2000. So this came out in 2004.
It's only 2005 right now, right?
The way time flies. That's amazing.
Creepy.
All you young people are like, eh, I don't know.
Anywho, okay, so we managed to skip this and a couple of others, which we're going to hit up.
I think we were doing her either early TV performances, or it could have been
the masked singer.
Anywho, somehow we missed it.
One of those a couple that we missed.
This is not on her new album, which I guess translated is TIS.
I don't even think this one will not even be on an album, now that I think about it.
The song is called Thank You, Forgive Me.
I forgot to look up the pronunciation in Russian, so I don't get to offend people.
Yet again, I went to AI because it started to really amuse me, no end,
and asked them, what's the song about?
So according to Google's AI, Diana Anouknova's Thank You, Forgive Me,
is about the painful emotions and conflicting feelings after a breakup,
where the narrator acknowledges their part in the failed relationship.
The song expresses a sense of regret and self-blame,
while also thanking the other person for the experience,
even though the narrator feels that the relationship ended despite everything they overcame.
All right.
Is she singing in Russian?
Yes.
All right, so you guys have to let us know if they did a pretty good job of describing the song.
What are your thoughts on what it means?
Because there have actually been a couple of them, but it's sort of, as people have said,
they're a bit subjective.
It's kind of one of those, especially last week's,
it was kind of a bit subjective to some people the song meant this,
and to other people the song meant this.
Which, you know, there's...
Did anyone answer if that was, or do we remember if that was real?
A real place?
I don't think anybody did.
Nobody also yelled at me about my terrible pronunciation in Russian either, so...
And if you did answer, we may have missed it.
I might have missed it.
I did look, and I don't recall if the tree is a real tree.
As I said, it was probably AI-ed, or digitally touched up a bit,
to be a bit more impressive than it really is.
But...
All right, so are we ready to check this one out?
Yes.
All right, before we do, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.
Check out the description down below.
You're going to find all our links, information, and stuff that we have down there.
Okay.
Right, I shall hit play.
I shall hit play.
I thought it was going to...
Never mind.
I actually forgot to mention at the beginning of this one,
A, she hard-coded Russian subtitles in, which is actually different.
But this one was classified as...
I called it an OMV when I was typing the file name out,
but it's actually mood.
She called it a mood video, as opposed to a music video.
I guess I could say that.
Which, yeah, I can actually see it when I'm watching it.
And if you remember this detail when typing out the information on YouTube,
I'll try and call it an official mood video, instead of an official music video.
Yeah, I lost it.
So...
This is for YouTube.
I like the music video, actually.
I'm also amused by the outdoor sections,
where there's obviously a bit of weather around.
That probably just helps set the mood.
It probably, in part, is to help set the mood.
But you can tell on a bunch of the street shots and stuff that it is actually wet out.
So you kind of wonder,
was it intentionally planned that Diana was going to look slightly damp and a little bedraggled?
Or was it a case of they started filming,
it rained on them, and they basically went,
yeah, well, let's go for it.
Let's just keep going.
Yeah.
We'll probably never know, because nobody probably does know.
But it is kind of one of those things that my brain ends up thinking about.
It's like, no, we have to film this tonight.
But it's raining.
I don't care.
It'll work with the theme.
It's fine.
It's good.
But you're wet.
I just...
I would say AI kind of seemed like it from what I was reading.
Yeah, it seemed like AI didn't do a terribly bad job.
I also did notice from a couple of the outdoor shots in the video there,
her hair was dry in a couple of them.
And she was sitting in a little thing.
So, yeah.
That was too busy reading, I guess.
I didn't notice all those.
I would say, actually, I think it might have actually started raining on them.
And they just basically went with it.
Anyway.
I think it fit with the video and the song.
Yeah, it worked very well in the video.
Because you had a couple of shots in between verses.
And I didn't even notice that either.
Yeah, that was good.
I don't know, anything that she does.
But we're so used to watching her on these reality shows.
Yeah, the reality shows.
Shows and stuff that it is nice to see her as herself.
Yeah, she's not.
She's not trying to disguise her voice because she wants to win a competition kind of thing.
It's the real her.
Yeah.
I need to have the audience in the background clapping.
Which, I mean, is nice too.
I mean, it does kind of beat up some of that.
But it is nice to see.
Yeah, live performances are nice as well.
Because, yeah, you get to...
Not that we were not going to react to it.
Well, that's true.
If she goes on another show or we haven't reacted to another show she's been on.
So, actually, that is the point.
Because I think she was...
No, I'm thinking of somebody else.
No, we're back.
We're definitely going to react to all of them.
So if you want to see those, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.
