Take a slow, steady breath in and let your exhale soften your entire body. Feel your shoulders
relax, your jaw loosen, your chest expand gently. Allow the day to drift away from you.
Every thought. Every worry. Every demand. This moment is for you. A moment to settle.
To breathe. To be held by calm. With your next breath, imagine the air becoming cooler,
fresher, as though the forest is already calling to you. A soft, earthy darkness
forms behind your closed eyes. Warm. Ancient. Familiar. From within it, a narrow, slowly,
appears a path of soft soil, sprinkled with fallen leaves in gentle shades of brown, gold,
and green. The air around you smells of cedar, pine, and fresh moss.
As you take a slow breath in, the forest path grows clearer. Step onto it and let the ancient
forest welcome you. You stand beneath towering trees that rise high into the sky.
So high that their branches weave together like a natural cathedral.
Sunlight filters through the leaves, above, falling in soft beams that shimmer with tiny dusts
of light. You take your first step forward. The ground is soft and springy. Beneath your feet,
carpeted with moss, fallen needles, and the quiet memory of rain, each step releases
a gentle scent of earth and wood, rich and grounding, but soft. Echoes faintly in the distance,
calm, rhythmic, like the forest breathing around you. As you walk, the forest becomes deeper
and more peaceful. The sounds of the outside world fade away until only the forest remains.
The whisper of leaves, the distant call of a bird, the rustle of branches moving slowly
in the breeze. Everything feels ancient here, as though this forest has watched centuries
pass in quiet wisdom. Sunlight dances across the forest floor and shifting patterns,
soft, gold, gentle, warm, earth. With each breath, you feel more grounded, more steady,
more yourself. Ahead, you notice a small clearing, covered in velvety green moss.
The sunlight here is warm, forming a tranquil pool of golden light that invites you inward.
You step into the clearing. The moss cautions your feet, like a soft carpet, cool and comforting.
A slight breeze moves through the trees, a quiet sigh carrying the scent of pine and fresh
leaves. Here, the world feels gentle, safe, protected. You take a moment to breathe deeply
and let the stillness settle into your chest. At the far end of the clearing,
you see a large tree, older, larger, more majestic than any other around it. Its trunk
is wide and steady, covered in textured bark that seems to glow in the soft light. Its branches
stretch outward, like open arms, welcoming, protective, ancient.
You walk toward this tree. As you lay your hand on its trunk, a warm, grounding energy
flows from the tree into your palm. It feels like stillness, like wisdom, like
hope. You sit down at the base of the tree, leaning your back gently against its trunk.
The wood is warm. The earth is soft. The tree holds you with quiet strength. Close your eyes.
Within the tree, feel the roots of the tree beneath you, deep, strong, reaching far into
the earth. Imagine your own breath sinking into the ground through these roots.
Every exhale releases tension, stress, and emotional weight into the soil below.
Every inhale draws in stability, calmness, and steady, grounding energy from the earth itself.
With each breath, you become more centered, more grounded, more at peace. Here, the forest
holds you. Here, you are safe. Here, you can simply exist as you rest against the ancient tree.
Imagine the earth gently drawing anything. You no longer need the worries, the tension,
the heaviness. The soil absorbs it effortlessly, transforming it into calm. Feel your body
grow heavier in a comforting way, as though the earth itself is supporting your weight.
Let your shoulders soften. Let your thoughts dissolve. Let your breath become slow and steady.
You are grounded. You are held. You are restored. When you are ready to return
from the dream picture, the forest around you glowing softly with golden light. The ancient
tree behind you remains steady, its presence a quiet promise that you may come whenever you wish.
You rise slowly. You turn toward the path. You take a gentle step forward, and the forest
begins to fade into soft, warm darkness. Breathe in, and feel the peace within you.
Breathe out, and let your body become present again. Move your fingers, your toes,
your shoulders. When you are ready, you may arise or drift into calm rest.
Your ancient forest remains inside you. Steady, peaceful, eternal.
