Cozy Christmas art vlog : hand-painted ornaments and holiday vibes

Hello my loves and thank you so much for joining me on today's video. I hope you are doing well. I hope that you are not bending under the pressure of the approaching holiday season. To be honest, it's been a bit of a chaos over here for the last couple of weeks. I definitely was feeling the impact of approaching Christmas. As you may remember from my previous video, I had a lot of things planned and I wanted them to be done by the end of the month. As you can guess, it didn't work out as well as I hoped it will. First of all, I was in the negotiation for a potential feature article in one magazine, which I really adore. So I was super excited but at the same time I was very busy preparing text and photos and because all the editorials and all the publishing has a lot of advanced planning the feature article which I hope I will have I will not believe it until I have the magazine in my hands and I see the article with my own eyes. So, I cannot give you any details yet just because I'm that superstitious. But yeah, because I had to do the photos which are for the spring summer issue, I had to do a lot of kind of like spring themed images, which as you can imagine was really tricky because I just cleaned my house from all the Halloween and autumn decorations and I was preparing for Christmas. And we also keep the temperature in our house at around 18, which is totally normal if you wear a sweater and a pair of woollen socks, but it's not so cozy if you actually have to wear a summer dress. So, it was tricky. Additionally, I got sick. So, I had runny nose. I was sneezing. I had puffy, teary eyes. My partner who was serving as a photographer, he was not sure whether to make fun of me or just to pity me but it was kind of it was kind of ridiculous. It was almost comical but we managed it. So it is done. However, I spent almost the whole week trying to make all the images because I had to make quite a few. So I was trying to take the best of the light during the day and now it's just kind of like few hours. So it took the whole week. Because of that I had to push my whole schedule for the shop update and for all the things that I planned for one week and it's not ideal as you can guess. Uh so I was overwhelmed. I was stressed. I was working overtime trying to finish everything that I wanted to finish and to make the shop update happen. I did make it happen. So I really hope that you will go and check it out. There are some items which are some of my favorite probably ever like the new design of the Christmas card. I just love it so much. It's so cozy. It's one of my favorite illustrations. At least one of my favorite Christmas illustrations for sure. I don't know. I just I just love all the things that I've done for this shop update. So, I feel very excited and I hope that you are also excited about it. To be honest, I do not have all that many news to share with you guys today. Um, mainly because I was just working on my shop update and I wasn't doing anything other than that. But anyway, I just wanted to say hi and say thank you always for being here, for supporting me on this channel, and also big big thanks to all the people who support me on my Patreon. I'm planning to make another video before Christmas, but I also feel kind of like tired and exhausted really and overwhelmed. So, I'm not sure whether I will manage it.
