I've got a bare face, no new makeup,
which means we're doing a get ready with me.
You can grab your makeup, do it with me.
I have here products that I haven't used in a bit.
Some I've used, but I've moved all my top door makeup
into like two big dressers on the side
because I'm gonna record a big declutter
and I wanted all the makeup in one place.
So it's been actually nice for the past few days
because I have to go there and pick my makeup.
And it's been nice because I just picked products
that I haven't used in a long time.
And it just reminds me of all the beautiful makeup
that I have that I probably haven't touched in a bit.
So that's what we're doing today.
Grab something to drink.
I have here this thing that doesn't look very pleasing.
It's the Armoura something.
It's for your health.
I've never tried it and it looks suspicious.
Can you see how it's separated?
I don't know about that,
but let's taste it actually together.
It's very sweet.
Maybe I should add more water.
It's good though.
It tastes good.
It's the watermelon taste.
Okay, let's get started.
I've already done my skincare.
I'm gonna put a lip stain on.
I do this every single time.
I don't know what lip stain I want though.
Should we do the Huda?
I have here or I have my Wonderskin.
Let's do the brown Huda.
It is in toasty brown.
I have a couple cause one's almost out.
So I can't remember which one's out and which one isn't.
This one seems nice and pigmented.
And then I'm gonna blend this in.
I'm gonna put something else on top,
but I like this as a first layer.
It defines my lips and then I can add whatever on top.
I feel like my skin is moisturized enough.
I've just done my skincare maybe 20 minutes ago.
So I'm not gonna put any extra moisture.
I'm just taking my Glowish Balm.
I don't know if they still have this
or if it's discontinued.
I feel like I have maybe a third left.
I like it.
It's beautiful.
And I just need a little bit around the pores.
I have a little bit of issue here.
I went to the dermatologist.
It's that periural dermatitis.
I have a little bit right there.
They prescribed antibiotics for it.
I'm like, I'm not taking it.
I'll try to figure out a better way to get rid of it,
but that will ruin my stomach
and my digestive and all those things.
I take antibiotics only when I really need to
because it truly messes with my body so bad.
So what I've been doing,
I feel like it's looking a little bit better.
I just don't put any actives on it.
I'm just making sure that I clean it well.
There's a zinc soap that you could use.
It's on Amazon, super cheap.
And then I just moisturize it and leave it alone.
And that's all I've been using.
I also have, I don't know if you can,
I mean, you can see.
It's like this, the color of my shirt.
I have raw skin around my nose from being sick
and it gets crusty and I kind of pick at it
and then it gets crusty again.
Lovely.
Okay, foundation.
I'm using the La Prairie foundation.
I'm actually gonna take a little bit on my hand first.
I usually just put it on my face,
but my face has been struggling a little bit.
So I'm just gonna be a little bit more careful
and I'm just gonna go in with this one.
I need a little bit of coverage.
You guys see how much redness I have?
And so I want also hydration and smoothness.
So this is one of my favorite foundations.
This one, not the Clé de Peau,
the Chantecaille one is beautiful.
I really have some amazing foundations.
And I'm just kind of carelessly applying this.
I don't want a ton.
I just want to even my skin.
I've got lots of things to do today.
My daughter has an appointment that I need to go to
right after I record this.
And then I'll be out and about for a little bit.
And yeah, then come home and prep the house,
prep all these things.
Thanksgiving's almost here, so happy Thanksgiving.
And hopefully you had a good one.
I don't know when this video is going live.
I wasn't even planning to record,
but I was like, you know what, why not?
Let's record some just so we have extra
while family's in town for the holidays.
And we're going to do the Christmas tree soon,
which I'm going to vlog all that.
I'm so excited.
I can't believe Christmas season is almost here.
I cannot believe it.
I'm going to vlog a lot more in December,
do a lot more content.
So make sure you guys are following along.
I'm really excited.
I feel like last year was such a good Christmas
for the kids and I want to do the same this year.
And I've planned content.
Fingers crossed nobody gets sick
because that's usually what stops me from recording.
And I have to take a few weeks break.
It's that one kid's sick,
then the other, then the other, then I'm sick.
And they're all at home, so it's a little hard to record.
Could I pre-record?
Absolutely.
Did I do that?
I did not.
Man, this foundation is so beautiful.
It looks flawless.
Definitely a pricey thing,
but I would repurchase it in a heartbeat.
I think I'm halfway done with this one
and I would 100% repurchase it.
I'm just going to correct my under eyes just a little bit.
I don't like using too much, just enough
because I don't want to layer extra products under my eyes.
But this one is the best color corrector
for under the eyes that I've ever tried.
And it lasts forever.
And just like that, it looks like I slept last night.
I am kind of in a funk with my concealers.
I keep wanting to reach for other ones,
but they just haven't been working well for my skin.
So I have been using just a few.
I don't touch that much.
I leave it alone because it is textury, it's dry.
I thought it was eczema.
A lot of people are struggling with this
and they struggle bad.
I'm taking two colors of the Hourglass concealer,
but apparently it's a big thing for a lot of people.
Mine is so small, but a lot of people get it everywhere
and it expands and it's painful.
And I've heard about it before.
I just never had it.
So yeah, I've just learned a lot about that.
I'm just slowly blending this,
going back to the foundation brush
and making sure that that is all blended.
And I love base products.
I think they make the biggest difference.
I could go without even mascara,
but give me some good base products and I will be fine.
Are you guys shopping any of the black sale deals?
I shopped a little bit for clothes mainly.
I shopped at Aritzia for a couple of things
and I'm shopping the BABA sale.
If you don't know what BABA is,
it is a sweater company, pretty much.
They make 100% wool sweaters and they are very expensive,
but they do have a sale, one in Black Friday
and then one in the summertime.
And I have plans to shop that one.
Hopefully the sweaters that I want,
they will still be available.
From what I understand last year, they went so quickly.
So hopefully I get one.
I think I'm gonna purchase two and maybe return one
because I'm indecisive between one that has a turtleneck
and one that has like a wider collar,
but I'm really excited about that.
So that's the other sale that I'm gonna take part of.
And we're buying a mattress
because our mattress is not good.
It makes Andrew's back hurt so bad.
I'm okay with it.
It's not great, but we are gonna go get a mattress
and there's nothing worse than shopping for a mattress.
If you guys have tried it, you know the pain
because how do you know?
How do you know if you're gonna like it?
Yes, it feels good now,
but what about once I actually sleep overnight?
And I know they have returns and things like that,
but I still hate it.
I absolutely despise shopping for mattresses.
So hopefully we'll invest in a good one
and won't have to purchase again for many, many years.
And we're getting the one where the back goes up
because at night we do hang out in our bed
instead of the couch and living room,
we go in the bed and hang out, read, watch something,
have a treat and tea in bed.
It's the thing that we do.
I love it so much.
But because of that,
we have to wash our sheets all the time
and our sheets are white.
That wasn't the wisest decision,
but I kind of like that because I know, okay,
you see a dot, a little chocolate fell
and I know I have to wash it.
So it keeps the bed very clean
and the sheets washed very often.
I am gonna contour my nose and my lips with this Chanel.
This is actually an eye contour Kohl liner.
This is the contour Claire.
And I just really like it because it's small.
The color's perfect.
Ooh, you know what else I really like for the lips
is the KJH liners or contour something.
They're so beautiful.
Very similar to this type.
I should have used that one to show you.
I'm not sure if I showed you before,
but I have them all here, all the colors,
and I use them a lot.
But this is the one that I used to use all the time
for contouring.
I think it's beautiful.
And I remember at one point it was sold out everywhere.
I couldn't find it anywhere.
So I really hope they didn't discontinue it.
I don't have much left.
I'm gonna go with the foundation over
to make sure everything is blended.
And I do take it around my eye as well
just to give this illusion that it's more lifted than it is.
I did purchase one of the Valentino blushes
in the shade 06, Call Me Coral.
I've been wanting that shade for years.
And every time I went and during the Sephora sale,
it was sold out and I saw that it was in stock.
I ordered it, which I'm very excited.
It's arriving sometime tomorrow, I think.
This is the Sarah Creel in the lightest shade.
I don't have a tan right now.
Maybe just a little bit left over on my hand,
but that's splotchy.
I should wipe that off.
But overall, my chest and everything,
most of the tan is faded.
And Sarah Creel does have a sale on their website, 20%.
And I went to get some eyeliner
and the two colors that I really wanted,
they were already sold out.
So there's that.
One day I'll try them when they're back in stock,
but apparently they're incredible.
I've been actually pulling my makeup by Mario Powder
and I've been using it for the last few days.
And it's really beautiful.
What shade do I have?
Fair pink.
I actually want to buy one that's not as brightening.
I want one that matches my skin tone pretty much,
but it's so smoothing and blurring.
I haven't used any other powder
except the three that I have here and four.
Actually, the Huda Beauty, the La Prairie and the Chanel
and also the pressed Givenchy powder.
So that's all I've been using for months.
And I'm kind of ready to experiment with other ones
that I have right here.
I don't need to buy any more because I have so many.
But yeah, you know, I get in a routine
and I think most of us do that.
You get in a routine and forget to try new things
or like your old favorites
because there's new stuff coming all the time.
So I'm happy to go back and test out products
that I've been loving.
I haven't tried in a while.
The bronzer I'm going to use is my Dior bronzer.
I almost use the Armani one, but I didn't want much glow.
I want just to look sculpted and a little bit bronzed.
So I decided to go for this one.
I think it's so beautiful.
This is in the shade 20 medium matte.
I think it's a really pretty shade.
I am so excited about my declutter,
but I do have a question.
I was thinking I would do it the way I did it last time
where I literally went through the entire collection
and just grabbed stuff and decluttered
and kind of recorded the process,
but I didn't go into extreme detail
about every single product because that would take forever.
So that was my plan.
I actually quite enjoyed how ruthless I was
and how fast it went,
or I could do a dedicated declutter per section.
So base products, declutter,
and talk more about the products.
I'm not leaning towards that.
I'm kind of leaning towards
just getting rid of everything
that I don't want in a one hour video,
but let me know down below what you like.
I do like both types.
I think it's so satisfying to watch one big declutter,
but at the same time,
I do enjoy seeing why people declutter certain things
or why they decide to pick one product over the other
and kind of go into more detail.
So let me know down below.
I think that would be helpful.
Hopefully this will go live before I decide to declutter,
but yeah, I'm very excited about that one.
I think it's going to be perfect.
It will clean out the room a little bit more
and I can give more stuff to friends.
I think that that is just so fun.
I wish I had a friend that had a ton of makeup
that they would give to me back in the day.
Okay, for blush, I actually brought the Patrick Ta blushes,
but this one is not going very well
with what I'm wearing today.
I have the Shiseo LA here.
Ooh, I want to use this one.
I haven't used it in a long time.
It used to be one of my favorite blushes.
I am actually going to take this brush from Ruffer,
take some off and go here.
These used to be my all-time favorite blush, this color.
I'm building it slowly.
I don't want too much.
And we're going to put that cream on top as well.
It almost pulls like the red orange from the shirt,
which the shirt is not orange, by the way.
On the monitor, it looks orange,
but it's a bright, bright, bright red, true red.
So I don't know, maybe it's just the monitor
and not the camera, but it's not an orange shirt.
It's red.
Love the color.
Now let's take the cream and take some off first
and then go on top.
So beautiful.
Again, this used to be my only blush,
that I would use.
I was obsessed with this one.
My goodness, such an old favorite.
This will absolutely go back into my top drawer
after I declutter.
I love the Patrick Ta blushes.
I think they're so chic.
The colors are so good.
I may have to declutter a few colors
that are just too dark or deep for me.
Okay, I am going with the Chanel Balm Highlighter.
I used to love this product so much.
And I'm just gonna add with my finger right here on top.
I saw it there and I thought,
wow, I haven't used that in a while.
I used to love it.
So let's pull it back out and see what we think.
It's like gloss on my cheeks.
So good.
I may put it around the lips.
Although I think I'm gonna put
so many other lip products on top,
but this is so beautiful.
I'm not gonna put it around the eyes
because my mascara will smudge because of it.
And brows, you know what?
I'm gonna do my brows real quick off camera
because they're so boring
and I use the same thing over and over again.
Brows are done.
The last step for the base
is I'm gonna take this Chanel Press Powder.
This is in the shade B20.
And I'm kinda gonna buff it on my skin
if I can find a brush.
Let's just use this one.
This is a Morphe.
No idea.
It doesn't have a number on it.
But I'm gonna take some of this
and I'm gonna buff it into the skin,
mainly in the T-zone.
I know it's a lot of steps,
but I need this makeup to last me all day.
I don't want my oils to come through.
And I've been having kind of a combo skin.
I have lots of dry patches,
but then I'll have oily skin around here.
So just wanna make sure that this is all set
and ready for the day.
And it's thin layers.
It's not like I'm putting a ton of product,
but just a little bit to set everything.
If I wanna intensify the blush a little bit more,
I can go back in
because some of that powder may kinda take away the blush.
So using just a little bit of that cream on top
and make it come back to life.
Last step is a setting spray.
This is the Tear Tear Makeup Fixer.
I'm almost out of this one.
I am almost out of most of my setting sprays, actually.
I've already finished my Charlotte Tilbury.
This one is pretty much done.
My One Size is pretty much done.
My D'Alba is pretty much done.
So many setting sprays that I'm almost out of.
I did buy a backup from the sale for the One Size.
And I think I have a backup of the Charlotte Tilbury as well.
So we're all good.
Okay, moving on to the eyes.
They're gonna be boring.
And I'm gonna take the Patrick Ta palette
in the shade medium.
I love these palettes so much.
It's all I've been using since I bought them.
I think they're incredible.
I'm just taking the lightest shade.
Right here.
And using that all over the lid to kind of set.
Then I'm gonna take this shade, the same brush.
It's just a big fluffy brush.
And I'm gonna define the eye a little bit.
I don't want much.
It's a very boring, busy day
where I don't need to be all dolled up.
But I do like to be put together.
And usually I feel best when I put less stuff on my eyes.
Mostly on a day like this.
Because I don't feel like it's too much.
Again, I do feel put together.
I am gonna take, actually the deepest shade right here.
This is a BK Beauty 209.
And I'm gonna pretty much use this as a liner.
And I'm not super careful with it.
Slightly messy.
And then I'm taking the other brush,
the fluffier one,
and going over and blending all of this out.
There you go.
I feel like that makes a big difference.
Elongates my eye quite a bit.
I feel like I need more powder right here.
I did bring these NARS crayons.
And I'm gonna use the lightest one, a blaze.
And I'm gonna go right in the inner corner
to brighten this up a little bit right here.
I do like this one because it's not fully matte,
but it's not super shimmery and sparkly.
And it's not too intense.
It is the perfect inner corner brightness.
So good.
This is driving me a little insane.
So I'm gonna try this technique with the Chanel powder.
I actually haven't used the Chanel powder like this much.
So hopefully, oh my God, that is so blurring.
Holy cow.
Did you guys see that?
Okay.
I'm just very careful with powder in general,
but wow.
Dang.
That was so intense in a good way.
Like, bye-bye pores.
There's no pores there.
I can't believe it.
Okay, okay.
We're gonna see how this works throughout the day.
This is how this is meant to be used,
but I usually like to blend it into my skin.
And it's been working so well before, but I guess today.
And honestly, this past month or two,
my skin's just been all over the place.
So we're learning how to work with it.
But that smoothed out so well.
I need to wash my daughter.
And that probably wasn't smart to do it after the makeup
because I will get splashed and it just gets messy.
But that's okay.
She needs a bath.
She has special needs.
So we need to help her bathe.
And she's just so heavy.
She's getting heavier.
She's 11 and a half.
So she's such a big girl and she's just not a child anymore.
I mean, she's a child, but she's developing.
And I don't know, she's just so grown up.
And I'm always curious how life will be for her.
And obviously now we can help her.
We can lift her up.
We can do all that.
But what about when we're older and we can't lift her up
because she's too heavy or I don't know.
I wonder about those things all the time.
And that's a big reason why we even started training more
to stay fit, to stay healthy.
We discovered jujitsu a few years ago
and it's just been so helpful.
I feel like our physical health has gone up.
We are so much more fit, Andrew and I both, and strong.
And honestly, we get hurt a lot at jujitsu.
Like I'll pop a collar or I'll mess up a rib
or I'll mess up some other things.
But overall, we are stronger and more fit
and our cardio is so much better.
So that was a big reason why we even wanted to start a sport
that we like, that it's fun,
but it also keeps us active and healthy and fit.
So we can kind of keep up with her growth
and just life in general.
But it's definitely something that I think about a lot.
Even now it's getting difficult to get her
in and out of a bath
because she is getting bigger and taller.
And she's like this tall now.
Like, I think it's crazy.
Can't believe it.
Another thing that Andrew and I were talking about
is that in 10 years,
everybody's gonna be out of the house pretty much,
except Luca, he's gonna be 15 almost.
But yeah, how crazy is that,
that we're gonna have kids in college by then
and one in high school.
And obviously we don't know about our oldest,
how her life is gonna develop
and what she's gonna be able to do.
But still, we won't have any kids at home really,
which is so sad actually.
So I'm gonna cherish these moments
and I think everybody should.
That doesn't mean it's not hard.
It is very hard, don't get me wrong.
Yesterday I almost had a meltdown
and the kids were just driving me absolutely insane.
I looked at Andrew and I was like,
my limit has been reached.
Like, I can't do more of the, you know,
bickering, whining today.
So I had to literally go in the bedroom
and work on my laptop
and just be away from them for a little bit
because I was just reaching my limit.
So those happen very often and I think that's normal.
But overall, I think it's awesome
and we really enjoy the season with the kids.
They're more independent as well.
It's not like we have kids in diapers anymore
and we have to physically change them
and put their clothes on.
You know, it's a lot more freeing.
And another thing that I really like
is the fact that we can have full on conversations.
You know, we can discuss real things about life
and behavioral and, you know, the meaning of life
and things like that.
We can truly have a discussion with them.
And I think it's so fun and I think it's a good season.
I didn't expect to love this season as much as I do
because I've always loved the newborn baby stage.
I still do, don't get me wrong.
I think it's, oh, it's incredible.
But I enjoy this stage so much.
It's like having friends, you know?
That you can have full on conversation
and you get to teach them.
And it's so cool when you're teaching them
something completely new about the world
and they're just fascinating.
And it's cool that you get to teach them.
So yeah, I think it's really awesome
and we're enjoying it a lot.
By the way, I went with two different mascaras,
Jones Road Mascara and then Lisa Eldridge,
mainly for the lower lashes.
And I will tightline.
I do this every single time.
I take my Victoria Beckham black liner
and I tightline the top right here.
I feel like it makes such a big difference.
I don't know if you can see, but yeah,
here I can really see a difference.
I don't need to do the bottom.
You can if you want a smokier look,
but I'm just gonna do the top.
Okay, all we have left is the lips.
I kind of like what we have going on.
What did we put?
Just the Huda liner.
I don't like it like that.
Maybe I'll add just a little bit of something else.
Let's take the Victoria Beckham lip liner in 05.
It's this deep brown shade like that.
So I'll define my lips just a little bit more.
And this is more for longevity rather than definition.
I feel like they're defined enough,
but more layers means longer lasting.
This Cupid's bow is always higher,
but this side is always fuller of my lip.
So I always try to trick a little bit
to make it seem that they're even.
And then this one's, you can see that it's not as full.
So it's always a battle of this one needs to be higher,
but this one looks less.
Anyway, all good things.
And then I did bring here a few lipsticks from Guerlain.
This one is the shade, I need a light
because I can't see, 539 I think.
This is a really beautiful matte color.
That would be beautiful.
And then I also have the shade 11 here,
which is a little bit more peachy and more glossy.
Ooh, I kind of want to do that one.
Let's just put a little bit of that in the center.
Oh yeah, pretty, cute.
Okay, that is the finished look, very simple.
I have a fragrance and this is such a beautiful fragrance.
This is from Atelier D'Or.
I don't know if I'm pronouncing that right,
but it's the Blue Madeline.
And this is a warm, cozy,
almost silky cashmere tea fragrance.
I think it's black tea.
And it is so, so beautiful.
When I got it, I was like, man,
this reminds me of something.
Not exactly, but it just reminds me of it.
And it is the Soy Malachie from Rivannot.
And it reminds me of that one a little bit
in the sense that it's cozy and warm.
And this one has a spiciness to it,
which I think is so unique and beautiful.
But I remember smelling it and I looked at Andrew
and I was like, Andrew, this reminds me of something
and I couldn't pinpoint until I went
into my perfume collection.
I was like, that's the one.
It reminds me of that one, but they're not the same.
They're different.
This is definitely a tea fragrance,
but I have a lot of different tea fragrances
that are more bright and citrusy and almost green.
This is a warm tea, almost milky,
but in the best way possible.
It's so cozy and warm and perfect for fall, winter.
And the bottle, obviously.
How stunning is this?
And again, you can shake it.
So the gold kind of floats around.
So beautiful.
If you need any fragrances, I would always sample,
but I do have a code with Twisted Lily.
And this, the code is, I think, Tanya10.
I'm not sure.
I'll put it on the screen somewhere,
but that's where I got this one.
I think it's super beautiful and very unique.
And it's not too spicy.
I wouldn't say it's a masculine fragrance.
It's just so cozy.
It kind of reminds me of a cozy,
almost cashmere, silky feel to it,
but with tea, like you're drinking some tea with milk in it.
I think it's so beautiful.
That is it for today.
I hope you guys enjoyed it, that it was chill.
You got to hang out with me, maybe do your makeup.
Love these kinds of videos.
And we used nice, good old faithful makeup.
So hope you guys have a good one
and I'll see you in my next video.
Bye.
