The clean girl, no makeup makeup look is so elite,
but it's also hard to do
if you don't have the right products.
And I don't want you going out
and wasting your money on a bunch of stuff you don't need.
I just want to give you the 10 essentials
for your makeup kit that's your everyday go-to
that is good for all ages
and I feel like is the most universal.
If you want to see how I got this makeup look,
please keep watching and I'll show you how I got it.
Before we get started,
I want to talk really quickly about my jewelry
because I got some new pieces and I'm obsessed with them.
And you guys are always asking where my earrings are from
and it's always from the exact same place.
It's all from EIDL.
I have been wearing EIDL
for the past like year and a half, every single day.
The jewelry is all lab-grown diamonds
and it's 90% women-owned.
The jewelry is modular.
You can stack them onto each other.
You can change the way it looks.
So I love that I have different earrings
as you can see in both ears.
Also remember that Mother's Day is coming up.
So this is like the perfect gift to get for Mother's Day.
And for Mother's Day, they're doing a 20% off sale.
This necklace is also EIDL.
I freaking love them.
They're so elevated and chic
and you can wear them every day or to a special occasion.
So I know what I'm getting my mama for Mother's Day.
These earrings, they're so freaking cute.
This little box is actually what I store
all my EIDL pieces in.
It just sorts out all my cute little gold pieces.
So some of my favorite love these little chains
because you can see how it has two different hooks on it.
So you can put it through one ear
and then it connects to the second hole.
And then this one you can use as a cuff.
This one is one of my first ever purchased earrings
from them.
If you've watched my videos,
you've seen this a million times
and it's the most asked question,
especially on TikTok.
Everybody's like, what is that?
Let's get back into the tutorial.
Going back to the basics,
the Ilia Face Base Milk is the perfect way
to hydrate, moisturize, plump the skin before makeup.
It doesn't make your skin oily.
I've introduced this to so many people
just through my videos and in real life.
The ones who've gotten it say it is life-changing.
There's literally nothing
that can make this product pill under makeup.
So once you give that a second to dry into your skin,
then we move on.
You can either use a skin tint or an SPF.
Personally, I prefer to use both a skin tint and an SPF.
Talked about this in my recent video
where I talked about all my favorite holy grails.
The Mineral SPF Good Weather Skin.
I love that there's zero white cast.
It's not greasy and I just think it really hydrates the skin
and preps it for everything else.
There's a really fine line between glowy skin
and greasy, oily skin and I personally hate the look.
But glass skin is fine, but too wet.
You want it to just look healthy, not wet and sweaty.
The third step and third product I would recommend
is getting some kind of skin tint.
I love this product and I actually gifted it to my mom
and I recently got a restock and I gifted it to her
without realizing that I didn't have a backup.
So I've been without it this whole time,
which is why it's literally never in my videos.
But the ILIA Super Serum Tint SPF 40
and this is color, I believe, Bomb Bomb.
You can blend this in with your hands for ease
or you can use a brush.
If I was using a brush, my all-time favorite brush
to use for something like this
is the IT Cosmetics Dual Ended Heavenly Luxe Complexion Brush
and all this really does is balance out your skin tone
without making it look like you're wearing too much makeup
or it's too heavy,
but it really does even out your complexion.
Just give it a second, it will soak in
and then we'll put a little bit of powder down
and it will look flawless.
Now that we have our skin hydrated,
we have our SPF and we have our tint,
our fourth step is going to be adding a concealer.
I recently made a YouTube short
showing you guys how to use concealer properly
because there are specific steps that you need to take
in order to make sure that you have flawless under eyes.
The older we get, the drier they get,
the more wrinkly they get, the more concealer you need
and the more powder you need, which makes it look worse
and how do we fix all of these problems?
Go watch that short and you will see
how to use this properly.
This is my new most used favorite
holy grail concealer that I've found.
I haven't found a concealer quite like this
in a really long time.
I've had some favorites for sure.
The medium coverage, you don't need much
to really cover up everything
and only putting it in these two areas is all you need
and then I like to move on to another step
while my concealer kind of dries down
because right now it's a little bit too wet
and if you blend it in, it will kind of start
to separate but if you let it dry down for a second,
it will leave the pigment where you want it
so just leaving it and we're gonna move on to brows.
The fifth product I recommend is this
Kosas Brow Pop in color taupe is the one that I use.
I like to do a really gentle brow fill in.
I feel like this is a step you just skip
if you simply don't care about filling in your brows
or if it doesn't matter but remember
that your brows frame your entire face.
Another big tip that I have is when you're doing
your eyebrows, do it from a mirror
that's relatively far away, my mirror's arm's reach.
Holding up a mirror like this distorts
the way your face looks and then when you look far away,
you're like whoa, my eyebrows are crazy.
Brush the brows up, making teeny tiny little hair strokes
and feathering it out to the tip
and then always using the other side
with the spoolie to blend everything in.
Now we can blend in our concealer
once we finish our brows and take the remainder
on my lid and then using my ring finger
to just melt everything together.
Next up is gonna be blush.
This is from the brand Earth's Cure.
I'm nonstop using this blush.
Like it's just, it does something to me
and I can't even explain it but it is the perfect color.
Either use your fingers to blend this in
or you can use a brush.
I'm actually not even going to use bronzer today
because this is what a bronzer is.
It's essentially a blush that emulates a bronzer
and during spring summer, you can look like
you're wearing both at the same time
without having an extra step.
Take the blush and go up along the bridge of your nose.
Kind of gives you that sunburnt effect.
And then another tip is to take a little bit more
of that product and throw it on your lids.
If you don't like using blush, try using a cream bronzer
and doing the exact same thing so that you have that depth
and then you can add that to your lids
instead of the blush.
Step number six, product number six is this Kosas powder.
It's any setting powder.
You can use a pressed powder, you can use a loose powder
but this soft pink kind of brightens up your under eyes.
So if you're somebody like me who wants to cover up
any dark circles, use a powder that has like
a light pink in it.
I'm really honestly using this for the first time today
so we will see what we think of it.
But I'm also using one of my favorite
and cute little brushes right now.
It's from Kosas as well and it's their detailer brush.
So it's perfect to just run under here.
Color of this powder is candy.
This isn't a product so I'm not including it
but always making sure you curl your lashes.
This eyelash curler is from Refi
and it's my favorite lash curler ever
because it just holds so well.
If I press really hard, they don't come together
which is really critical for an eyelash curler
otherwise you're not really curling your lashes.
For mascara, I realize I'm using a lot of Ilia today
but that's just because I got a restock
and these are all brand new but I love this mascara.
It's the Limitless.
This is the Limitless Lash Mascara in color Before Dawn
and I love it because it has two different sides
on the spoolie so you can really get in there
and separate the lashes and I love this
because it's also a super dark brown
and some of the browns that I have are a little bit
too light depending on the day
and some of them are just too dark
but it separates with my lashes so well
and I really just love this mascara.
Also by the way, my mom, if you haven't seen
our video together, I will link it above
but we used a lot of Ilia that day
and we actually got a partnership with Ilia at one point
and ever since she did that,
she got obviously a brand new product from them.
She loves the milk, she uses the tint every single day
and she loves the mascara and she is so picky
about her mascaras, she didn't even wanna try it.
She was like uh-uh, I like my Thrive Mascara
and then she actually tried it
and she was pretty wowed at how amazing it was
and I told her.
Next up is lip liner, this is my Holy Grail lip liner
and you can see it is getting quite short.
I've purchased this multiple times,
realized I need to sharpen it again as well.
This is the best color of a lip liner I've ever used.
Liner drawer is overflowing with lip liners
and I simply just use this all the time
to where I'll leave it in my purse in the car
and I'll have to go out and get it
because I just don't wanna use any of the other ones,
that's how good it is.
The color is Wherever Walnut
and it's that perfect soft pink
and it just looks so good on so many people.
Makeup artists on set do swear that this is the best
and somehow one of the only lip liners
that is the most universal.
Holy Grail lip liner to buy, it's gonna be this one.
They also have it in a long wearing form
and I'm gonna get that during the Sephora sale
because I didn't know they had that
but it basically stains your lips
because it lasts such a long time.
But it's essentially the color of my lips but better
and it's so hard to find that for me being as fair as I am
because I find that sometimes it just makes my lips
look too purple, too pink, too dark, too deep, too brown.
This is perfect.
Brand new in the mail, never used but I love it already.
The color is so perfect.
This is the Overglaze Hydrating Lip Gloss from ILIA
and this is in color crystal line, crystal, I don't know.
Throw that on over top.
Personally, not a huge fan of anything on my lips
that's way too shiny or too sticky or too glossy.
This is perfect because it's almost like an oil
and it's really hydrating.
It's a little bit too shiny for me
so what I do to get rid of some of that, if that's you,
is just take your ring finger and blot off that top layer
and it immediately takes away any of the excess product
that you didn't want.
And that completes the makeup look.
So those are the 10 products I would pick.
Let me know in the comments if you guys like these products,
if you are gonna get these products,
what you think about this makeup look
and I'm excited to see you guys in the next video
because we have so many new things happening
and coming out and so many incredible products
that I'm so excited to review.
I'll see you guys in the next one.
Thank you so much for watching.
