It's tough to ski to snow when it's this deep.
Bring your snorkels.
We are posted up at the base of Blackcomb.
Got the tent set up and we are gonna camp overnight and get first gondi up in the morning.
We're posted up in the tent.
It's about 12 o'clock and we are heading to bed.
We just got up.
We're in the tent.
And it's looking pretty packed up there.

We got some breakfast.

First lap of the season.
Opening day this year but hopefully we'll get some more snow.

Well you know it's tough to ski to snow when it's this deep.
So be careful out there.
Bring your snorkels and have a fantastic start to the season.
You guys heard it from the man himself.
We've been ripping a couple laps on Jersey Cream.
And now we're gonna hike up the road to the top of Seventh.
And find something good to ski up there.
There we go.
We have just made it up to the top of Seventh.
Winds are absolutely howling up here.
It's really windy.
Hopefully we get some good skiing though.
It's gonna drop in soon.
All right we're at the top of Seventh Heaven.
I can't see anything.
Oh I can't see.
Oh my god.
Heavy debris.
It got a little heavy and froze up.
Oh baby.
Well that was a pretty fun lap up there.
Got some decent turns.
This little Blackcomb's looking pretty lean up here.
We're like 1600 meters of elevation right now.
And as you can see there's just like nothing up here.
Pretty bare this year.
But hopefully we'll get a turnaround later this year.
We're going back down the gondola.
You have to download because there's no snow right now.
You can't even ski to mid station.
Some people did it but there was no snow.
