Hello.
It has been a couple of days since my last video.
I'm sure a lot of you have seen it.
I announced that I was no longer a vegan.
It hurts, like knowing that I've disappointed
a lot of people.
A lot of people were mad that I was, you know,
calling myself vegan throughout the entire video.
I totally get that.
It goes so far beyond the diet itself,
like eating a plant-based diet.
So I apologize for offending anyone
for me to call myself a vegan
and then primarily just talk about the plant-based diet.
I could see why that would piss a lot of people off.
And I've said this before previously in my videos,
like I went vegan primarily for health reasons.
Like I always struggled with my health growing up.
I was in and out of the hospital a lot.
And when I was doing my research,
I really believed and I still believe
that eating plant-based is one
of the healthiest diets out there.
So where I'm at today,
my relationship with food has changed so much
in the last 10 years.
I'm just trying to be a bit more open
and like cliche as it sounds,
like I just don't want to have any labels
when it comes to my dietary choices.
I'll just make it known right now.
I am eating dairy.
And when it comes to the meat aspect,
I have incorporated fish.
This has been a really hard couple of days.
Like all I want to do is just make everyone happy.
Like I know that's just not going to happen.
And the best thing I can do
and what I'm trying to do is just be transparent
about my life.
I've been open about so many parts of my life for so long.
And this was obviously something I like needed
to talk about.
I got dressed.
I'm going to go out for a quick run.
A hat for that sun protection.
We got this Free People top that is so comfortable,
holds the girls in.
And then we got these Lululemon shorts.
These are my favorite,
but I'm going to wear my running backpack.
I didn't realize how extra this was
until I went to a legit running club
and I realized, oh my God,
real runners don't wear this.
But it's hot and I want to make sure I'm hydrated.
I'm going to add this Electrolyte from Pique.
I've really been liking them.
And this one has really good ingredients.
It has like hyaluronic acid, ceramides,
coconut water, pink Himalayan salt.
Ooh, it literally tastes like lemon
and some salt in there.
It's like really, really natural.
All right.
So cute.
I've been loving running lately.
I feel like it's such a great way to just clear your mind.
I mean, once the feeling of death leaves your body,
it's like the perfect time to just think
about everything that's going on in your life.
All the right things, the wrong things.
That's why I'm so excited for fall.
It's starting to get a little cooler
and it's just a lot easier to like be outside more often.
When it's like blazing hot, it's just,
oh, I don't want to be outside for that long.
Oh my God.
That was so hard.
Oh my gosh.
Hey guys, I'm post-shower and that was a hard run.
I am not going to lie.
It was pretty hot outside
and I felt like I just couldn't catch my breath.
I had to stop multiple times.
I went through my entire pouch of water.
This never happens.
I always have like some left in here
but that is how much I was dying, but we're done.
I'm proud of myself.
I actually do have to get ready.
I have a work event I need to be at in an hour and a half.
So I am going to make a quick protein shake
and then I'm going to start getting ready.
The Chobani oat milk is the best oat milk ever.
And then I'm going to add some protein powder.
And I've actually been trying out a new one
that I really like.
So this is isopure, zero carb, creamy vanilla protein.
I got this at Costco because it was a bargain, okay?
It's not so sweet and in your face
and the texture is insanely smooth.
And then for our fun flavoring.
So this is another Pique product I've been loving.
Also Pique is sponsoring this part of the video
which is really exciting,
but this is their sun goddess matcha.
I have been loving this.
It makes the best matcha lattes and best part,
guys, they come in these cute little packets.
So they're just perfect for traveling.
So you can just have this like with water,
like hot water, cold, like make like an iced beverage.
I like making my little lattes every now and then.
So I'm just gonna throw it in here.
Also my frother broke.
So making my matcha with a shaker
has honestly been like my only way.
And this doesn't have like any other extra ingredients
in it, it's literally just 100% ceremonial grade matcha.
Okay, the matcha did not mix perfectly,
but look how cute she is.
I love to add a little bit of maple syrup,
but with the protein powder, it might be okay.
Oh, it's so good.
It's such a fun way to switch it up
and you get a little bit of caffeine boost.
It's the best.
I feel like I don't get that insane crash
that coffee gives me.
It has like L-thionine in it.
So you have that consistent boost of energy
and you don't have like those insane dips.
And you guys saw this product earlier.
I am a huge fan of electrolytes.
I feel like if you guys have been watching me for a while,
you would know that I have electrolytes
literally every time I work out.
So this is a Yuzu Berry Beauty Electrolyte.
It has all the electrolytes and minerals
you would typically see in an electrolyte beverage.
So it has like calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium,
but on top of that, it has these phytoceramides.
Ceramides have been clinically proven
to improve skin elasticity and reduce fine lines.
Plus it has hyaluronic acid to support a youthful dewy glow.
They actually have a really great offer for you guys
if you are interested in their Radiant Skin Duo.
So if you click the link below,
you can get 20% off the Radiant Skin Duo.
And they'll also throw in a rechargeable frother
and a glass beaker.
Literally be 20 with me,
but instead you'll be in a better spot than me
because I don't have the frother.
And a frother would be actually really convenient.
Okay, so I need to get ready for this event ASAP, Rocky.
I feel like I need to be there by four,
which means I should probably leave here in like now.
I'll give myself 15 minutes to get ready.
I want to keep the makeup pretty natural
because it's hot and I can't stop sweating.
This is like one of my favorite sunscreens.
I've been using it for a while.
La Roche-Posay SPF 100.
Like she's not playing around.
And I really like this one too
because I tend to have a bit more dry skin
and this makes my skin feel a little greasy, which I love.
It just makes your skin look so dewy.
And then for the concealer,
I'm going to be doing this Born This Way.
I'm in the shade natural beige.
This is just a Sephora brow pencil and it's so good.
And it's also like $10 or less, I want to say.
Oh my God, I totally forgot too
with the event that I'm going to,
we're like literally going to be filming content outside.
So this is actually so great
that I'm not doing a ton on my face
because it's literally just going to melt off.
So a little bit about the event.
For anyone that doesn't know,
I do work in the music industry, like in music retail,
and we do events every now and then with different artists.
And today's artist is going to be Cory Wong.
He's going to be doing this workshop, like a clinic.
He's going to be, I think, talking about
the type of gear he uses, like maybe his preferred settings.
I'm on the social media team.
So I will be there to shoot like short form content.
So basically like any potential videos
that we can post on our channels.
And then when the event's actually happening,
then I'm going to be filming
and posting Instagram stories today.
Yeah, it's going to be a long day
because the event starts at six and it's in Hollywood.
So I think I'm going to be there honestly
until like 9 p.m., I would say.
For the brow gel, we're using Rare Beauty.
Miss Selena Gomez killed it with this product.
It's so good.
I actually discovered it on TikTok.
You know, I grew up watching YouTube videos,
like specifically like beauty YouTube videos.
And makeup tutorials used to be like so long.
Like you had to sit, watch every single thing
that the person was doing, like see all their products.
And nowadays makeup tutorials are so fast on TikTok
and it's awesome.
So I always discover new makeup recommendations through that.
I'm going to add some color to my face
with the Makeup by Mario bronzer stick.
And this thing broke.
So this is what it looks like right now.
One of my favorite things someone taught me
is you put the bronzer stick right here at the tip
and it makes it look like your nose
is sticky up a little bit.
So cute.
For the setting powder, I just grabbed this on a whim
and I actually really like it.
Like it's easy to apply.
It doesn't feel like it sticks onto your makeup.
It lasts all day.
Really like it.
I always love cleaning it underneath here too
because I get a little messy with my bronzer,
not going to lie.
For the blush, this is no shocker.
I'm going to be using Patrick Ta's She's Blushing.
It's so good.
I love adding a little blush here too
on the tip of the nose.
And to finish off the makeup,
we're just going to add a little bit of eyeliner.
This is like a cream colored liner.
I like doing this on my like natural looks.
It's just like makes the eyes look fresh and more awake.
And then of course my freckles.
I can never go without them.
They're so good.
This is a pen I got on Amazon, honestly,
and it's so good.
And it's only like $6 or something.
For the lip,
I'm going to be using this peachy-ish lipstick from Mac.
It's Mullet to the Max.
Guys, I have been back on the Mac lipstick game.
I feel like I just forgot about them for years,
but they are so good.
But yeah, just super fresh, clean, simple makeup.
All right, so I'm going to pack my work bag
and then we can head out of here.
All right, guys, we made it to Hollywood.
Something I completely forgot is that my AC is broken.
So I drove with the windows down the entire time.
All right, guys, so we're at the event.
Oh my God, I'm vlogging today.
You want to do my vlog?
I was literally about to talk you up
because I was like, look at the spread.
And my events queen got me vegan pizza.
Yum.
Got some cookies, some chips,
and then all the bevies.
Heck yeah.
I'm taking a quick little break.
I've been filming Instagram stories
and then I've been airdropping the videos to my coworker
who is like posting them in real time.
But I got so hungry, so we're gonna have a piece of pizza.
Buffalo sauce.
This job definitely has its perks.
Hello, you guys, good morning.
We are up bright and early
because we are running late to a Pilates class.
I genuinely think they might not let me take this
because I'm gonna pull up to the parking lot
three minutes before class starts.
And usually with like new timers,
they really want you to get there
10 minutes before at least.
But yeah, I really hope I get to do it
because I've really been loving Pilates.
This would be maybe my fourth or fifth class ever.
I've been averaging about one class a week
and it has been like the best integration
in my fitness routine that I've ever done.
I just feel like my core has never felt so tight.
Like I'm actually seeing definition in my stomach,
which is insane.
I still love going to the gym and weightlifting
at least three to four times a week.
And then I've been doing Pilates once a week
and then maybe I'll like run every now and then.
But yeah, it's been super fun to just switch up my workouts.
I'm doing this like one month trial thing with ClassPass.
The only downside is with the free trial,
you can't go to the same studio twice.
I mean, it's good and bad
because I've like found really cool Pilates studios
that I wanna go back to,
but I have to wait until like I start paying for ClassPass.
So in the meantime,
I'm just like exploring everything that's in my area,
which is also great
because then I'll like really get to know
what my options are nearby and see if I really like it.
But oh my God, it's 828.
Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.
I'm so sad.
I mean, worst case,
I'll just go to the gym and have a workout there,
but it's just not the same.
It's not the same.
So this studio was so cool.
It's called The One and it was like in the mall.
So I was running through the mall trying to find this spot
and I finally got to the place like five minutes late
and I just like jumped right in.
Jump right in, pun not intended
because there was a trampoline attached to the reformer.
I felt like that class was using more of my legs.
So it just felt like overall easier.
But when it comes to like more traditional Pilates,
you're tightening your core and using it the entire time.
By the end of it, my body is shaking.
I can barely breathe.
It was so cool too.
Like that gym was a full gym.
They had treadmills, they had weights,
they had like rooms to do like yoga.
I don't know how much of regular membership is there,
but I mean, if you want all the things like Pilates,
yoga and free weights, that gym has it.
It's post shower and you know what time it is?
Smoothie time.
I have been so into smoothies lately,
even though it's like not technically summer anymore.
It just hits right now,
especially because it's still kind of hot in LA.
It's actually been a couple hours since I got back home.
I've like just been working on my laptop,
but it's now almost lunchtime.
And I strategically booked my chiropractor appointment
around the same time.
So I need to leave like now.
I bought one banana and I added some frozen mango
and I'm gonna add some pineapple
and then I'm gonna add some berries.
And then we're gonna add a scoop of protein powder.
Like I think once I come back from my appointment,
then I'll like make like actual food,
but this is good for right now.
Yum.
We don't waste around here.
Oh my God, it's so good actually.
And then of course, can't forget the straw.
Ta-da.
She's so cute.
