So Rapoto, they've done it once again.
They've just rolled out an update to
this, the MLN2 Pro, which further proves
A, there's no competition when it comes
to the sub $1,000 price range launch
monitor. And B, they're putting your
hardearned subscription dollars to great
use with each and every update that they
roll out. So let's get into it. So on
the surface, it doesn't seem like much.
It's three updates that just effectively
are like gameplay updates, but they
speak volumes. First and foremost,
they've updated the range. They updated
this range, I believe last year, making
the graphics just so much better, the
experience better. They've refined it.
They've made the graphics better, a
cooler skyline. They've just made it
look better, more enjoyable. It's always
so easy to use, and this is generally
where you're going to live if you are
practicing. You pair it with all the
data you see on the bottom. And there is
new data which rolled out in the
summertime club data that you didn't pay
for. It's not hyperbole that these
updates are fantastic. When they rolled
out club data this summer, it was a bit
of a game changer because it allowed the
golfer to further understand why the
golf ball is doing what it's doing
because they're getting a better
understanding of what the club is doing
at impact, which further cements and
proves what I say in each and every
video. Rapsoto is a unit that will allow
you to become better at this game if you
use it properly. But this update just a
better range. Full marks. Well done
there. But it's the next two which I
think are are are just amazing because a
they're going to help you get better and
b they listen to you. They listen to the
paying member. What the member is asking
for they're giving to them. And I don't
know how many other subscriptionbased
tech services in this day and age are
doing that. First and foremost, closest
to the pin. If you're a Rapoto user and
you fired up the simulator golf, you've
probably played some version of closest
to the pin with yourself or with your
buddies. But to do that, you had to
select the par three holes or just get
to the par three holes, kind of keep
score on yourself. You had to kind of
piece meal it together. Whereas now,
people were asking for it. there's a
actual closest to the pin competition
that you can play. And it's not just
like a few holes or just generic par 3es
or on the target range. No, any of the
golf courses that are in the ecosystem,
you can choose one or all of the par 3es
on that golf course. So, if you just
want to fire up 17 at Sawrass and play
that over and over again, you can. Or if
you're like me and you want to go fire
up the par 3es in the course you grew up
at, you can do that. You can have
multiple players. Each player can play
different TE's according to their
ability. You can select the shots, you
can hit one to five shots, you can play
closest of the shots, your average
across the shots, or your total across
the shots. And there's penalties if you
miss the green, hit in the water, in the
rough. It's just a really fun game. And
I've had the buddies over here. We've
played it. It was a great warm up for
our eventual full sim round that we
played on that evening. But it's just
good. Competition is fun, but
competition is valuable because it's
creating pressure. It's creating
scenarios that you may experience out on
the golf course. And that's that's
invaluable. That's worth its weight and
gold. It's just a small update that
speaks volumes because it is Rapsoto
listening to you, but also serving you
something that's really fun, really easy
to do, really dynamic, enjoyable, but
it's going to help you get better at
this fine game. This update, I think, is
phenomenal. Random targets. When they
rolled out target range, I was blown
away because I like the range. I like
practicing on a launch monitor, but I
like practicing to targets during my
playing days. Getting out on a great
driving range that had targets where you
could move around and go through the bag
and hone in the wedges or work on the
long irons just simulates real golf. And
the target range did that. So, if you
wanted to have some dynamic variable
practice on the target range, you had to
manually change your target. Change the
target T club. like that flow wasn't
amazing and it wasn't like people were
doing that. I would do that from time to
time, but it was still cumbersome and it
would just eat time. If you didn't have
a lot of time and you want some variable
targets, you had to waste time making
those variable targets. So, people
expressed that, members expressed that.
What did Rapsot do? They gave us
randomized targets. You select this
button, you select the range you want.
So, if you only want to work on the
seven and eight iron or you only want to
work on the wedges or you only want to
work on the top of the bag or you want
to work throughout the entire bag, you
can set your range and you can set the
shots you want. I personally think one
shot is the best because that's real
golf. You get one chance to hit the
shot, learn, move on, and if you don't
hit the shot, if you don't hit the
target, I think it makes you hit it
again. So, that's just kind of nice just
giving you a good, you know, revisualize
executing the shot. But the random
targets, I mean, I like combine work,
but this kind of gives you that combine
work in a more dynamic environment. And
it's something that feels like real
golf, which will make real golf that
much better because it's practice that
is simulating what you're going to
experience out there. because it's very
very easy to get in the sim or on the
launch monitor and either focus solely
on numbers or focus solely on like the
sim experience and how good the graphics
are. You get lost in there somewhere
from real golf because you want your
simulator, your launch monitor
experience to prepare you for real golf
if that's what you will be eventually
doing after this time on the off season
or in the evenings. You're going to get
on a real golf course. So, you want this
to prepare you for that. And I've always
said Rapotto does a fantastic job at
that. They've created something that
will allow the golfer to get better at
this game, not just have more fun or
just live in a launch monitor. No, these
updates, the data, the games, the
visuals will allow you to get better.
And I understand all of this comes with
a cost. You need to have a premium
membership when you buy this. It's only
700 bucks. If you didn't know, this is
only $700. It's incredibly accurate,
easy to use. It's pretty crazy. But
yeah, you get a year of this for free.
Earlier this year, they rolled out a
lifetime membership for 500 bucks. You
unlock this for life. All the courses,
target range, close to the pin, the
cloud, everything amazing about this app
and software along with the updates.
Every update has been free. There hasn't
been a single update that you've had to
pay for. But maybe the potential members
have said, I like the free one year and
then one year being $1.99. I can kind of
work along on my clip. 500 all at once
is a bit of an investment, so we don't
necessarily want that. So they've given
you a middle ground. They've given you a
2-year option for 329. It's cheaper than
two individual years, but if if you
think $700 a free year and then two
years for so like even like just over
$1,000 to have three years of this. And
this has been out for two and a bit
years and it's been updated about eight
times. Like there's just been fantastic
addition update after fantastic addition
update. So yeah, on the surface it
doesn't seem huge, but it speaks
volumes. It's small updates that on the
backs of a huge update are further
proving Rapotto is listening to you. But
Rapotto wants you to become a better
golfer. And you don't need this. My
buddies that come over here, we have
some fun in this. But one of them got
one himself cuz it was just so easy to
use, enjoyable, has a net, has it hooked
up to his iPad, which is screen shared
to a TV. You don't need an elaborate
setup to make this thing be your off
season
fun, but also your offseason practice.
And especially as we roll into November
here. I don't I don't know what's coming
up with Black Friday, but there's
obviously some great things probably
coming. It's Black Friday. Just update
after update every few months. this
thing. There's no competition. I know
there's some great launch monitors in
the $1,500 range, but at the like
sub,000,
there's no competition. The the accuracy
of this thing, the ease of use, the fun,
but also the like the practice, like how
good you can get using this. League of
its own. Total league of its own.
Rapotto, I said at the start of the
game, the video, you you've done it
again. Yeah, you've done it again. you
keep giving golfers what they need and
maybe what they didn't know they need,
but stuff they need to get better at
this game. So, let me know in those
comments below. Have you been on the
fence? Because if you have, I think the
updates this year alone are proof to
think you should maybe seriously
consider it for this off seasonason. But
if you are a user, have you updated your
app to use it? Sound off in those
comments below. Let everybody know your
experience with it. And we'll see you in
the next video. Peace.
