Messi and Inter Miami Are MLS Cup Champions! - 2025 Audi MLS Cup.

The cameras are out. Everybody ready to see Miami lift MLS Cup over to Taylor Twelman. We go for the trophy presentation. Incredible support and great partnership since 2015. First and foremost, inner Miami fans, we would like to welcome your captain, Lionel Messi, to the stage. I'm also here with the MLS commissioner, Don Garber, who will be presenting the 2025 Philip F. Anschutz MLS Cup trophy to today's champion, your inner Miami. What a game. What a match. What a way to cap off our 30th season. They said soccer would never make it in America. Inner Miami fans, has soccer made it? Let me give a shout out to Vancouver, their fans, their players, their ownership. They've done everything to deserve being here tonight. Tonight is the Barons' second trophy in their sixth season. Jorge, David, and Jose, you came into this league saying that you would build a team that would fulfill the dreams of millions of people across our country and across the globe. And you did that. For soccer fans across America and Canada, thank you for everything you've done. Leo, it's been an honor that none of us can truly even understand, to have you in our league. The thrills, the commitment, the passion, your love of being here in Miami, and your love of your teammates. It's my honor to present the Philip Anschutz trophy to Jorge, David, and Jose, who will give it to Leo, who will present it to the team. Congratulations. Picture, what an image, the lasting images of this 2025 MLS Cup. Lionel Messi, Jorge, and Jose Mas, David Beckham with the Philip F. Anschutz trophy. His biggest goal when signing with Inter Miami two and a half years ago was this moment. The dream realized, the goal achieved. Inter Miami champions of Interland soccer. It is the 47th time in Lionel Messi's career that he has held a trophy. The most of any player in the history of world football, world soccer, and look at the two on either side. Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, legends in the game. Some of the best to ever play in their respective positions. Their final game today. They are officially retired and they go out as MLS Cup champions with a medal around their neck and a trophy in their laps.
