I Built MY ULTIMATE GOLF GARAGE!

i'm going to tell you a story in three parts we have the before the during and the [Music] after the before is this empty unframed room this is the garage of our new yet to be built house we're currently being built house this garage is going to be my zone for production it's about maybe two months until we get in the house and then i can start building up this little studio and then afterwards at the very end of this video we can celebrate what my hard laboring work has built [Music] hello welcome back part two i said was this a three-part story before journey and after now we're in the durian the house is done we've been in for like five days we're pretty much 95 moved in we still have some stuff here that needs to kind of be found a home or this storage wall but this part of the garage like i said earlier is going to be my golf studio we're going net right there and you can see it there it is we got a putting green that's going to be built out right there we've got uh my wife right there who's walking in on this video oh hi kelly do you like the house love it okay yeah you can't see yet though they can't see you of course the everything inside is top secret but i still have a few pieces to go get at the storage unit my little like locker situation and some some of my clubs so uh yes let's go to the storage unit and get that stuff [Music] all right now i gotta take all of this and turn that back wall there was a mess into something a little bit nicer and a little more orderly professional golf fun all of that so uh yeah back to the garage i'm gonna spare you the boring side of it and watching me do it so with the magic of youtube watch what i can do with this hand there you go phase one is complete the locker has returned got a nice little touch of home there some golf bags room for kelly's clubs a lot of shoes in there outerwear balls hats the goodies and right here next thing we're doing it's the net all right it's the next morning i've cleared out this little area right here it is chilly morning it's only like 30 some degrees here in jacksonville so it's a great day to hit some golf balls in the garage and right here we have annette ruckett my friends at rucket they sent me a net for my indoor setup can't thank them enough it will be linked below let's build this bad boy [Music] i think we're done the instructions were helpful but the diagrams and the description instructions were a little different than what the things look like but apart from that that setup is really easy you saw it there once you get the frames in click click no screws hook hook and we've got a net it's a little bit bigger than i thought i don't know what kelly's gonna think of it move that door out push it aside into the back uh yeah let's go uh let's test it out i mean i'm a little weary i don't know it's weird hitting a shot inside okay okay little chip shot the rebound is fast that's for sure maybe i'm too close to it i don't know we're in business we've got annette in the garage this is going to be awesome once i clear out this craft i can set up my live view camera my flightscope vevo we get some really good practice in here i guess the putting green is gonna have to go right here though right in front of it i don't know if you remember back when i was in ottawa in the summer i had a putting green that i brought up with me from hona golf obviously i drove that back down it's here eight by four perfect to go right here oh i mean why not just keep going while we're hot and set up the putting green now okay we're done with this uh this this turf has been rolled up for since uh august so it needs some time to unwind oh right welcome back it's been about a week i've done a little bit more work in here fine-tuned it just a little bit more and this place is ready to rock got the gym floor down there so to do little workouts little stretches had a little gym extra flooring padding that i put up against the wall so that when the ball hits the net if it's going too fast it won't dent the wall little gym padding right there so the bounce is controlled green is fully rolled out needs a vacuum we've got our mat right here and you'll notice my ipad and my phone with a video and with some data there that's because we've got flight scope amiibo set up we've got a live view set up yes it's still a little bit messy here we'll have to organize that just a little bit so that i can practice in here on a day like today when it's 37 degrees out and i don't want to go to the golf course oh yeah got the collective arts brewing show it's my favorite brewery for those that are wondering what live view is i've made some videos about it but it is basically a live camera so you see it right there it's giving me real time mirroring basically a camera mirror of what i'm doing see like no delay nothing and then i've got fights got amiibo right there so i can record my swing but also just watch my my swing while i'm swinging working on positions get some lines drawn up all there and uh get numbers and data got the stickers on the ball just to get even better data with it because i really want to dial in my wedges during this off season that's why i switched wedges that's why i put new shafts in my wedges so that i can get a lot more out of it this is the garage studio i like to call it tpc at jensen preserve
