Preparing For The Moonlight Tour

so a couple of weeks ago when I went to Rocky Mountain North Carolina I did a little pre-tournament video that everybody seems to quite like so in lieu of always making recap videos I figured yeah let's make some videos that are like the prep of tournaments so without further ado I'm headed to Orlando right now the play to moonlight tour best the moonlights who works in Orlando based to work one two and three day tournaments really affordable inexpensive events the return isn't huge because you're not paying a lot but it's something right now as I'm coming back from this and feeling close to a hundred percent it's it's a great investment to go pay 80 bucks to play a tournament a hundred bucks to play a tournament and just get my feet wet and get the juices flowing so today it's Tuesday the tournaments are Wednesday and Thursday at champions gate and Eagle Dunes I haven't played either of those courses I haven't seen either of those courses so what I'm gonna do today is drive down there stop at eagle dunes first because it's a little north east of Orlando check it out drive the course get a feel for the course see what's there and then head to Champions Gate after that check the course out get a feel for what's there so on and so forth so let's go check out these golfers [Music] and eagle dunes jumping into a cart now but a little yardage book from the course here rangefinder and it'll scout out this golf course see the yardages the carry is everything like that and then afterwards we'll get some chips and wits and putts you over the five holes in and it's pretty self-explanatory out here quite a forgiving golf course often tea greens look perfect and even in this little book they say they're the best greens in Florida they're really really smooth they look great but they're really small they're all quite small and so far long and all of them is like drop-offs to you no hazards or dunes or whatever so long it's completely out of play on these greens from what I'm what I'm seeing I anticipate for the rest of this course one round tournament so it's just knowing how to get the most out of your round and how to avoid big numbers not a lot of trouble off the tee so far but the trouble can be around the green so it's about [Music] I'm doing here on the ninth hole you can see there's a bunker so it's like it can I reach that bunker it's 337 so that bunkers are not employed it's almost I think that's a great line to carry when I get up there there's nothing over this I'm expecting there to be nothing over this way and it's a 562 yards par 5 obviously you want to get far down there rolling along here and 13th hole not much has changed greens are still small I don't know if you're seen it because there's some roles in these fairways where you think you need to carry it a much further but you can get away with lending it shorter but man the fairways aren't very smooth there's a lot of bumps so that's gonna be I guess you came out here that's it for Eagle dudes pretty straightforward there's a lot of room off all of the tees there's not a lot of trouble there's just sand dunes everywhere greens are small greens are pretty smooth have a feeling in a one-day tournament here unless it's Halloween wind it's gonna take a real low one so it's actually I'm looking forward to that because it's an exciting golf course that can yield a lot of birdies and that's that's what I need to do done here now I'm gonna drive down to champions gates and do the same thing there but then I'll get some practicing done there because it got a money practice facility [Music] miss champions gate finger before actually played the lit par 3 golf course back in January with Garrett and Zach so if you want a little bit entertaining payment you can go watch that right here I always forget where the white course looks pretty empty two horses here we're playing the international course I'm going to practice a little bit now chipping pipe the range is close that's a bit of a bummer but hey that's fine maybe get some shots out of the golf course swing I've done the work I need to do for the week so it's like this like I talked about like that cramming versus not cramming what I've got is what I've gone for tomorrow so you get a feel for the Greens here hit some chips hit some putts and go [Music] I've got a little bit of work to do readjusting backs for you to have you been talking Canada for three days it's shots up there and regular grass because I think that's enough for today's video I'm gonna go out on the golf course do a little practice out there and what I'm doing out there is the exact same thing as what I did Eagle Dunes this morning or earlier today but it's time to put the camera away time to get to get into a bit of focus all I'm doing is the exact same thing so it's nothing new but this is what it looks like to zip down to Orlando and prep for it to a one-day tournament you cover your bases you see the golf course if you don't know the golf course if you don't have time to play a practice round and the reason I'm seeing both today is because tomorrow after the round I'm actually heading over to flight scopes headquarters and that's gonna be a whole video coming out after this one so that's why I can't go see eagle do this tomorrow so I made the most of it today saw both Garf golf courses got
