Lose A Hole... Lose A Club

four holes left the match is all square and there's eight golf clubs that aren't in play four from each of us this is gonna be epic what is up guys welcome back welcome to two weeks on tour life on tour when you miss the cut you're left with a lot of free time and being out here in Quebec and then having to go further east in Quebec we're deciding what's the best basically way to spend our money or not spend our money so we're gonna go back to Ottawa for a few days and then Ben's likely gonna trek back the same tortoise on his own because I'm not sure if I'm gonna go but today we're gonna make our way back to Ottawa but we're gonna stop we're gonna play some golf somewhere around that tree all because we still like golf golf still fun so we're gonna go keep working on the game play a little match so we're going to show you guys what you do when you miss a guy's [Music] [Music] [Music] we decided to drive right through Montreal and come to Ottawa we're at Highlands we're gonna go play this afternoon though and Ben came up with a pretty good match idea would you would you borrow this from Tiger Woods the video game we're gonna play an elimination style match play kind of like the European Tour's videos of late so we're gonna play 18 holes match play and when you win a hole you get to take a club out of your opponent's bag the only club that is safe is putter everything else is fair game and when you win a hole there's no get a club back this is straight up if you lose you lose a golf club so this hopefully will get pretty entertaining you just got this for the win oh yeah all right Ben you've lost the first hole I'm gonna take your 60-degree wedge out of play so now your short game it's just a little bit harder second hole on the South Course is traditionally one that I grew up trying to drive and I try to drive it today but I get on the road so Ben wins this hall which club you taking out I'm gonna snag the old one takes my two iron okay go right ahead your boys pissed for the way oh no that's heartbreaking for the half watch we could have some action here on the fifth all been as hit it close mine came up a little short need to make a snake for birdie on I don't wanna he only needed two putts though he's one of what club you takin out of my bag now you dick his choices I'm sick so I've got two forty seven into this par-5 that's about a two iron don't have that and it's into the wind so I could get away with three would happen well karma has got been on this hole he hit a good shot raced a little long he's got a really bad lie there he really needs a sixty degree wedge oh wait he doesn't so uh hit a good shot I'll hit it close oh the fringe killed it good good shot all right to go to up and take another close out of my bag oh geez what club you taking out of my bag now 60 degrees gone I hit mine just over a foot in half then gave it to me he needs to make this to have the hole where he's losing another Club you kidding me you gotta be the spotter Potter here mr. groom [Music] I think I might have won this whole I'm gonna take your pitching wedge out of what trouble is this for par and the matches even I'm taking Ben sand wedge out of play so now he has no wedges shortest Club in his bag is a 9-iron well he andrew has some tree trouble on this hole it is stinger three iron left and he had to hit a bubble wedge from the left rough that did not get through the tree that's gotta go pretty good putt what club you take in mind I don't have any wedges left my bag or a 3-wood this is a 400 yard hole I had three are not diseased so that I can have like a 9-iron into this or a fishing wedge because if I hit driver right now no long winter sandwich just gonna be fun final pot of balls Ben had a pretty bad lie in the rough so it kind of scuffed out on him and he's in the bunker but he has no wedges so he has to hit this with a 9-iron and I'm in there about 20 feet for birdie how good is that Oh hard to spin itself out an opportunity for a miraculous power and to escape with a half and keep a club in his bag whoa it slow I'm taking your 9-iron we have four holes left the match is all square and there's eight golf clubs that aren't in play four from each of us this is gonna be epic Oh No [Music] so he's just hit it in the bunker left and that's not good cuz I think he's got a pitching wedge but that's about it we've got about 25 yards what's coming up screaming hmm that's really good oh he thought he had it I gave him my all with that little flop shot with the beat up Ben's got a spike mark in the way but this is to win and go one up for three to play and take another five out of my bag never a doubt what clever you take neither bag [Music] well then guessed it for you right defeat the t's are back here I told them this hole is about 170 175 it's fine 184 into the win it's a 6-iron so imma have to smash but er 5-iron half five I'm sure that Andrew tried to hit did not go so well but one thirty thirty yards right but he's uh he's got a shot so that's his ball there the you can't really see the flag but there's a window he's got to hit it through some some some leaves and such okay he's gonna try and slash it out he's got it out yeah that might be in the bunker aren't you pretty good that one in your hands he's got a to up lead like he just needs to have this hole and win the match let's see how he handles Oh Oh when he's made it alright so I made birdie he needs this is two women pull it bounced on them they hold that bounce on you big time I'm gonna take your to shore vol 18 you got hit a layup off the tee you don't have you're down to 8-iron so I'm gonna take your 7-iron out of what the 18 Bell is 350 yards but water starts at about 70 from the green so you got a layup you know between 110 and 140 from the flag so I just hit 7-iron up with you would you hit 6-iron to shoot out andrew has laid up to a perfect arrogant ones [Music] so Ben hit it a little too far he has 152 downhill downwind and the lowest yet didn't 8-iron here and he's got a tree in his way I'm on the green but I mean I'm probably like 40 feet he makes par he wins the match but he's got to he's got open that face really cut it oh oh caught it heavy she'll be alright though this is very three potable I need him to if he likes this up there I got a make to have the match and it's a good long range putter so let's see how he handles it little aggressive I don't think he realizes how much subtly bouncing a good speed on it though Oh seven and a half feet bumpy for par totally match well he pushes it you're gonna Scott it here's an indication of what our golf bags look like after that round pretty bare but buddy another great match call square I hope you guys enjoyed it make sure you try this match this with your friends at home and give this video a thumbs up subscribe two weeks on tour continues tomorrow peace [Music]
