How to iron army style. First things I would recommend, top tips, get yourself a really
good iron, like so, and a really sturdy ironing board, which has also got quite a bit of padding
underneath. Ok, ironing a shirt then, first thing you do, shake it out, and then start
on one side, it doesn't matter either side. You want to put it on nice and tight onto
the ironing board, and once your iron is at the right temperature, when the light goes
off, you can start putting pressure on the iron, on the shirt itself, removing all the
creases that you can see. Most important bit on this shirt then, is getting the collar
nice and flat. So what you're going to do, you're going to fold the shirt over, as you
would when you're wearing it, and it should sit quite naturally on the line there. You're
then going to put the crease into the shirt, into the fold itself. Once you're happy with
that crease, you can see the crease has been put in, that should help it sit down once
you're wearing it. The iron should have a steam option. Ok, moving on to the sleeves
then, probably the trickiest part of this shirt, pull it onto the ironing board as far
as you can, you can see it's quite creased, it creases out, and then to reach the bottom
of the shirt, get it flat as best as you can, try and use the seam for guide, you can
see there, the sleeve is crease free. And that is my shirt squared away.
