ABOUT ME I’m Andrew Jensen, a former full time touring professional that played on PGA TOUR Canada, Latinoamerica and almost every North American based mini tour from 2008-2020. I want to use my playing experience to inspire golfers to improve their own game and have more fun with this amazing game we play!
We're all golf sickos. We all love
seeing what's in other golfers golf
bags. I've made one of these videos
every year since 2017 when I was playing
full-time and I was a full-time staffer
for Tailor Made. Now, I test golf clubs
full-time, and this golf bag is a proper
revolving door. But these 14 clubs are
the 14 that I trusted the most this
year. There's some current stuff,
there's some not so current stuff, and
there's even something in here that is
almost as old as this YouTube channel
itself. So, enough talking. Let's break
down what's in my bag for 2025. So,
contrary to belief, I actually don't
play an inordinate amount of golf. I
probably play one to maybe two rounds of
golf a year. So, in 2025, maybe I played
15 to 20 rounds of golf. So, I need to
have a set that I can fall back on
because when you're testing equipment,
yeah, you can like things, but do you
trust them to go play a full 18 holes?
That's a whole other story. And coming
from a playing background, when I go out
and play, I want to enjoy myself and try
to play to somewhat of a standard that I
expect relative to how little practice I
put in. So, I want to use golf clubs
that I just trust that I don't have to
like practice with to get comfortable
with. So, we'll start at the top of the
bag. First and foremost, this phenomenal
swag NFL licensed head cover of the
Jags. Give us a little duvall. I thought
it was going to be a bad season, but
they are surprising me. And we're going
to make a good run in the playoffs, I
think. So, that thing is covering Cobra
DS Adapt LS 9° head in the H3 setting,
which is taking down a little bit of
loft and making it a little bit more
flat. I went through this fitting
process testing in February, and nothing
outperformed this for me. I could just
hit a high squeezing fade. Hard to hit
left unless I make a terrible swing.
I've got a Ventus Black 6x Velcore Plus
in here. And yes, I've tested a lot of
really good drivers this year. And in
videos for other drivers, I've heaped on
praise on pretty much everything I've
tested, but nothing earned a spot in the
bag beyond the 18 holes I play with it.
Because when I test a driver, I want to
play 18 holes with it, but nothing got
past that first 18. Maybe a few range
sessions, but nothing got past that
first 18. This driver of let's say the
15 20 rounds I played this year easily
accounted for
half of them, maybe even 75% of them. I
loved this. I have it 1033 Golf Pride
ZGrip full core on everything. I've
tested a lot of grips this year as well,
but this is what I've fallen back on as
my favorite. So, that is the driver. I'm
really, really excited for the 2026
stuff from Cobra because it will be with
Future Fit 33, but obviously there's so
many great drivers coming in the new
year. So, we'll see what ends up in the
bag come the end of 2026. Next up,
3-wood covered by a nice kind of Echo
head cover that I got at Echko
headquarters in Denmark back in May.
I've got a Qi10 Tour weight all the way
up 15° bumped one notch lower. Graphite
Design Tour AD IZ7X.
Same grip. 3-wood's an interesting one
because I actually tested one 3-wood
this year because even in my playing
days, I used the same 3-wood for so
long. I used the 2017 M2 Tour 3-wood
until like 2023. I just loved it.
3-woods are very personal clubs, kind of
like a putter is, just hard for me to
switch. And yeah, I didn't test many
3-woods this year, so it would be hard
to have something replace this. But this
thing for me, it's gaining a cult
following, the QI10 3woods. And yeah,
for how little I practice, it's pretty
predictable. Great strong flight. I
really enjoy the look of it down at it.
Everything about this 3-wood, it does
remind me a lot of that 2017 M2 Tour
that I loved so much. This thing was the
first thing to replace that 3-wood.
think this will stay in a in a golf bag
for quite some time. Next up is like my
two iron and I've tested some driving
irons, but I keep going back to this
one. This is oh gosh, maybe from 2018.
Let me know in those comments. The
gapper low 19 degree three iron, but I
have it bumped a little bit lower. So,
it's effectively like a two iron, a
little bit more open face. So, it is
harder to hit this thing left again off
the tea. I can drive it low. I can hit
it high into greens. I have a Tensai CK
series 90 Hybrid Flex TX. I mean, this
thing went in my bag in 2018 when I was
playing when the Gapper came out. I've
messed around with like UDI and all
those things back in the last few years
of my playing career. But in terms of
two iron, driving iron, I always come
back to this. even the Apex u the UT's
like I loved a lot of stuff I've tested
in the last two years but nothing has
replaced this because again we want
something in the bag that we trust for
how little I golf I want to just have
something that I know from 245 I can
just pull and uh generally speaking I'll
hit it roughly that distance and I know
the shape of it I don't have to do much
I trust this same thing with the 3-wood
I trust these two clubs immensely so
it's going to have a hard time replacing
these two in the foreseeable future
Sure, we'll stay at the top of the bag
because that's where the putter goes.
I've tested a lot of putters. Actually,
no, I shouldn't say that. I've tested a
lot of lab putters, and I really, really
like them, but gosh, it's just so hard
for me to keep them in the bank. I've
played an 18 or two with each lab putter
I've tested. I have nothing but good
things to say, but in terms of like
looking down at it, feel trust. Again,
trust is a big thing, especially if I'm
if I was golfing two, three times a
week, I could probably cycle through
putters and I'd probably change this
putter. But because I don't golf that
much, I go back to what I trust. So,
like I just did a trip to Pinehurst, I
want to go on those greens with
something I trust. So, I keep going back
to this. I can't show you the grip. The
grip is actually under embargo right now
from that trip to Pinehurst Golf Pride.
I have a new grip on this. You can't see
that, but this 2019 Spider, my goodness,
it is tried, tested, and true. Those
last couple years of my playing career
weren't great, but I rolled it well. And
then when I got into like golf on
YouTube, this thing was like Excalibur
sword. This thing made so many putts.
Still does. I love the look of it. I
love the feel of it. It's now coming up
on seven years old. And before this
putter, I had a putter for almost seven
years. So, it takes me a lot to switch
putters, but uh Spider X so good to me.
So good to me. Then we go into irons.
And this is another one where I've had
the privilege of testing a lot of great
irons. And if you've watched my recap of
the year, I added two irons in there
that were so good. But when I said I'm
going to use those PowerBuild MBs for
the rest of the year, I played on
Thanksgiving with those and it was
tough. They're not very forgiving. I'm
not playing enough. Those did not go
with me to Pinehurst because I wanted a
little bit more forgiveness if I'm going
to be playing in colder weather and just
not as sharp and trying to just enjoy
myself around some difficult golf
courses. So, I went back to my faithful
tailor made P7 CBS. So, I got these when
they came out mid 2024, and this is the
set that I keep coming back to because
the look is great. Like, I mean, it's a
CB. It's forgiveness, but it's got a
very like bladey look because I used
kind of an MCMBB combo for the longest
time when I was with Tailor Made. But, I
really like the look, the feel, and the
forgiveness. KBS TourV 130X's in these
four through pitching wedge. If I was
playing more, I probably could keep
those MBs, the Atlas MBs in the bag
because when I did test them, I had was
a bit sharper. They felt so good. Same
thing with the Evod stuff that I've
tested and I I love it. But that
concept, the combo length, the different
weight, the bigger grips. If I wasn't
testing golf clubs, I could use that. I
could see myself switching to that
because they're so easy to hit. It's the
same golf swing. The way it's just the
forgiveness is fantastic. the precision
is so good. But if I'm testing
traditional sets, traditional wedges,
and have combo length, different
weights, different grips, it's just
going to be really challenging to give
new equipment a thorough test and I'll
be like skewed and then those irons, the
Evote irons won't do well for me in my
regular play. So, I just keep cycling
back to these kind of like the driver
has at least played half of my rounds.
These have at least played half to 3/4
of the rounds. For the to pitching
wedge, tailor made P7CBS. And then
lastly,
wedges.
Same grips on them. KBS Tour V wedge and
the Cleveland RTZ. I dubbed these my
best wedge of the year because they went
in the bag right away and they've stayed
in the bag. And the other wedges that
I've tested, granted, I've tested
different wedges with different shafts
to just get a different feel for things.
So, I'm a more versed club tester for
y'all, but these I just come back to
these since they came in the bag. I was
using the Callaway Opus wedges for since
they came out. Really, really liked
those. And these happily replaced them.
Obviously, the customization is cool,
but I feel like I can trust these. I can
do what I need to do around the greens
even if I'm not sharp. So, like at
Pinehurst, I still got by with my wedge
play, with my chipping and my pitching
because I trusted these things and I was
in some precarious situations around
Pinehurst number two and 10. And they
generally did the job for me and kept me
from making doubles around number two if
I missed a green and they kept me around
par when I played number 10. But yeah,
really great feel, really great look,
versatility, the grunt. I can do
everything I want with them. I feel like
a player in them with them. Love these
wedges. So, that is that's the wedge
setup. Ball. This has been a different
scenario. I don't have the ball that I
use cuz I've run out of that dozen, but
I would say the Maxfly TourX is my ball.
Granted, I've tested a lot of golf balls
this year and played rounds with a lot
of golf balls because that's something
where I don't necessarily need to come
back to something I trust to play
because generally speaking, the balls
all kind of do roughly the same thing.
and after testing them, I have a great
handle on what they're doing so I can
play accordingly. But if I were to play
competitively or like something that
matters currently, the Maxfly TourX is
my golf ball of choice. And then if
you're interested in like the
knick-knacks, this bag is an old vessel
bag. I love it. Don't need to change
much of it. I have been using this
MileCan Pro G1 rangefinder since I
tested it. It's awesome to have a GPS in
there as well as a great rangefinder,
great glass, slow. It's been great for
when I'm playing a new golf course
because that's something that happens a
fair bit with my current vocation, if
you will. This thing since I tested it,
it uh it's definitely stayed in the bag.
It's not something I tested like, yeah,
yeah, but I don't use it. This
definitely I'm going to have a bag full
of knickknacks here. There's nothing
really special. The special is just it's
my Canadian Tour valuables pouch. So
when I first got my Canadian Tour card
in the fall of 2007,
golly, that's a long time ago. This is
what we got. And this has sustained me
since then. I've had a co they gave us
one every year, but this is the very
first one. C4 rain gear. This thing just
keeps coins. The coins I mark with are
from Argentina or Chile, which is when I
first played some tour deas Americas,
which is now PJ Tour Latino America in
2008 when I played down there. Got coins
down there and I've used those ever
since or coins from Bermuda. This thing
is a Groov It brush. I've lost a handful
of them, but this one seems to be
lasting me the longest. Gloves. Red
Rooster gloves. They're my friends from
Ottawa that launched this company.
They're fantastic gloves. They're just
great great gloves. They make synthetic
ones for like simulator or for practice.
Little glove compartment to carry them.
And then here, I mean, I keep a mirror
in my bag because at heart I think I'm
still a tour player, but I don't I don't
practice. But when I played, I always
kept a mirror with me and put out
eventually made a very small mirror
because when I would play tournaments,
you just check your fundamentals, make
sure your lines are great. So, I have a
mirror in my bag. In 2025, did I use
this mirror?
No. That's a hard no, but it's in the
bag nonetheless. And uh that's about it.
The only other thing that kind of goes
in the bag if I'm going to play is a
bottle of bourbon because I enjoy to
have some whiskey out on the golf course
with my buddies. So, that's a revolving
door. what kind of bottle goes with us
when we play. Let me know what are your
knickknacks. What are your current
clubs? I don't think any of these uh
maybe this and this will still be here
next year and maybe the putter, but I
don't think anything else will be here
next year. The head cover certainly
will. Let me know what you're excited
about for 2026. Thank you for sticking
along this journey for 2025. I look
forward to the more gear we can test
next year. See you next time.
