If you're a content creator or you just want to take some
photos and videos of the family and have some really cool latest tech at a
budget then this Atuan Smart X3
phone gimbal is the perfect gadget for you.
It's really user-friendly, it's high quality, it's got all the gadgets
but it's not going to break the bank so let's just have a look how it works.
You can now see this is the tracking in motion.
If I move quickly it can be a little jerkier.
I would say that's held up quite well. Still following me quite nicely. I just
lost me there. Will it pick me up again? Yes it does. Just walking along the
streets here using the gimbal. It's really comfortable to use with the
extension arm I get it. Far enough away from me
so the proportions look good. I think it's very stable.
Let's move around very smoothly. Let's arm out
even further which is quite a nice distance away
and a nice good background as well. A little old town so I think this is
working really well. This handle feels really good in the palm
as well. So just to have a little product tour
here. It's really well made, it's nice and
strong, it's got the offset gimbal here so you
can add an audio device quite easily on the end.
It's really strong, it takes a good payload so
this is a really heavy phone and I've put
large audio devices plugged in the end here and it had absolutely no issues
with that at all. So I really like that and of course it's got the
telescopic extension here with a tilt on it so you can get those
lovely camera angles or use it as a desktop tripod.
You've got all those functions there so that's really helpful.
This stand is nice and wide and stable with a nice
rubbery surface to it there and it pulls together and
still is a good width there to fill your hand there so you've got a nice
stable connection there. It has this rather
interesting way of opening this where you just push this
button here, you just push this up and then this pops out like so
like that. And of course it's got the detachable
controller here which is a really nice feature which is normally
only seen on really high-end gimbals and you can do all your controls
using this. A thing to note with using this is you have to do
a couple of things to set it up. You need to turn it on
up here, pressing this button here you hold down for about four seconds,
you do need to then switch this on here to activate this
and then you need to hold down the red button
here for a few seconds to turn this on and then it's all connected. And then you
can use all the functions whether it's attached
or not attached. Obviously the red button's for recording
but you can double tap it and it'll just flip the phone
around. Nice and simple. The menu button will
then scroll around all the different gimbal functions
so you can go to your follows, pan follows, pan tilt follows etc
so you can just scroll through those there.
And then of course you can use the button here to re-centre
and then to tilt right, left, up, down, all controlled from that.
You've then got the fill light and the AI
attachment here which you can either have it attached on or you can
if you don't want to use it just detach it
and it will just, magnetic, it just comes away.
Quite simple. This also has an on-off button on it as well.
Just see on-off button there. So now I'm just going to show you the app.
So with the app I'll just go around in a circle
and clockwise so this is your home screen it will take you out of the app
into the the main menu. Here you can do photo enhancements,
here you can change your resolution and your frames per second,
here you can adjust all your parameters, camera settings,
gimbal settings, you need to be connected to do that,
anti-shake, if you want that on, expert mode. Now you can adjust all your
parameters, your shutter, ISO, EV etc.
Your horizon line you can adjust if it's not looking correct
then your zoom speeds there. If you go into photo mode,
clicking down the bottom there, find just slightly different
features here for changing the shutter and other features like that,
white balance, ISO, manual focus and then just come around the bottom
you can see your photos by clicking here. This is your start or take a photo
button and then just in here you can have it
follow your face, body or an object
and then here's how you just switch camera angles,
front camera to back camera and then along the bottom here you'll see
you've got recommended moves you can try out, it'll go
through different scenarios there. Movie mode,
inception, movie mode that's just cropping it like a
ratio, inception the camera will turn like
that, hitchcock it'll do like a dolly zoom
and then panorama it'll stitch together a series of photos,
photo video mode, time lapse is when you're moving along and it'll just keep
taking a series of photos and you can tell it the intervals and
the delay, trajectory delay up the top here, this is
for transferring images. So we're just going to try
trajectory, let's have a look now
plus button, the plus button
steps, we can change the intervals, shooting time, let's hit start
going to the first point,
work its way through to the last point, nice and that will produce the
footage there, time lapse, shutter interval, we can change this
here, it's got half a second, 30 second,
so shooting time, let's just give this a little go,
panoramas, got 180, 330, 33, 35, let's just do the 180 now,
inception, movie mode, gives a nice little
panoramic angle there, this shows you different camera moves
to inspire your creativity, so now we've just turned the ALA
on here, you'll see the little blue buttons
working there, green lights come on and it can now follow us. So there you go,
great little bit of kit and I think bottom line is it's really good value,
it's as simple as that, it's really good value, it's got a ton of features,
it's inexpensive and it's well made. So there's a link in the description
below if you want to see more videos on
gimbals and tech, there's a playlist over there,
show me the love, click on the link up there, I look forward to seeing you
over there.
