And we are going green, here in Milvegas.
Your leader is Stora, but miserable.
Thomas, rips the top.
Timez, your leader.
Jordan Charge, upstairs.
Parker Scott, up there as well.
McFadden, coming after Stora.
Top part of the racetrack, a little dominant just at the moment.
Timez, your leader.
McFadden to the bottom in three and four.
Stora in second.
Goodger on the bottom, working with Lockheed McHugh.
Back straight.
32 to go, and Timez looks good.
He sure does into turn number one.
There's Luke Stora sitting in second.
McFadden back in third.
Goodger has another crack at Lockheed McHugh, but he can't get it done.
Jordan Charge sitting in behind him.
He's running at about sixth position at the moment.
Then it's back to Brendan Quinn.
Parker Scott's made a good start.
Matt Eagle.
Next is Will Carroll from Cory Sando, Max Gilford,
Brandy Morgan, Jackson Delamont, and Brendan Guerin.
So our race leader now working his way towards the back markers.
Stora gets loose now in two.
Nearly lost the handle on it.
And McFadden will now catch him.
Gee, that was very, very close for Luke Stora.
Just goes to show there's some marbles upstairs.
You have to be a little bit careful.
The cushion is a little bit further up,
so that's where you're going to have to run at some point.
We'll be right up there.
And if so, who will find it first?
You'd have to think that there will be blazing heat yesterday,
40-degree temperatures.
Today was slightly cooler, but we've had a lot of track laps on this.
James into second.
So working our way down the back straightaway.
Meserall looking solid as he comes by the main straight.
McFadden to second.
Here's where the crew chiefs start to get the most from these race cars.
Mez, half track, off the throttle, squares up the car.
We'll put Morris a lap down here now.
Certainly the number one is coming.
He's running three-quarter track.
James now drops to the bottom through three and four.
It's McHugh that's really coming on.
Has Nick Speed given McHugh the race-winning package here?
He's ripping around the bottom lane.
Yeah, McFadden and McHugh look good.
Stora down on the bottom side.
Where is the rubber? That's the question.
McHugh, Lachie McHugh to the bottom on James.
They're both going to come up on Meserall.
Look at Lachie McHugh.
Lachie McHugh slides up.
McFadden should be able to drop back across the bottom,
side by side, just like he and John Goodger were last night.
All this, we're going to go yellow.
Is that Matt Eagle?
We are caution.
Boy, it was getting toasty then.
Thomas Meserall was about to get a visit from James McFadden and Lachie McHugh.
We're going to go now.
Meserall to lead.
Where does James go?
He goes right up on the wall.
Look at the momentum.
The Australia 1, T-Mez look good on the bottom there.
Sandow further back in the field with Jordan Charge.
So James goes back to the bottom.
Look at Stora now on Lachie McHugh.
Now Quinn.
And here comes McFadden now.
Drops to the bottom.
T-Mez trying to defend down there.
It's going to tighten up these race cars here shortly on the bottom.
James again.
T-Mez looks good in 1 and 2.
And we have 10 to go.
Across the line they go.
Looks like one of the Parrott family motorsport entries is in.
That'd be Hayden Vickers, but it's T-Mez and J-Mac going at it down the back chute.
James has now got quite a gap on Lachie.
Maybe Lachie's tyre sealed over a little bit under caution.
Stora continues to run in 4th.
Goodges up in 5th from Charge.
Sandow, Quinn's lost a few spots.
And it's back to Guilford.
And the 25 of Parker Scott.
But what has James got for Thomas Meserall?
T-Mez is actually driving away from him.
But we've got some back markers ahead.
I think it's just the rubber that we talked about.
Johnny's got to stay in that groove.
He goes up a little high to get around Morris.
James tried to close in.
Can't do so.
You would have to think there's rubber.
James McFadden!
Wow!
Absolutely a critical move.
And got by the leader.
McHugh tagged the lap car.
Stora around the top.
And James just lit the thing up into Turn 3.
What can Meserall do from here?
Six to go.
That was a great pass.
But Meserall is not done yet.
There sure was.
He absolutely struck like some sort of death adder.
Meserall gives him a bit of a tap.
Randy Morgan up ahead of J-Mac.
A little further up.
Will Carroll and Ben Morris.
Could that be the race winning move?
McFadden going for the jugular vein.
And getting to the front of this pack.
20k within his grasp.
He darts to the inside of Morgan.
Oh man!
Sando rode the wall big time in Turn 3 then.
Somehow brought it back in.
Meserall is still close.
McFadden is just ahead.
Sheldon Brady being tuned in from back in Western Australia right now.
In the motorplex.
We work the back straight.
Everybody hanging down low.
There is so many lap cars.
Meserall is still right there.
He's going to have to try for something different.
Now Lockie McHugh is there as well.
We have a white flag situation.
James McFadden.
Look at the lap cars in front.
McFadden will get it.
Just from Thomas Meserall.
Lockie McHugh was a rocket ship towards the end.
They think the race is still going on.
Meserall doesn't want to lift.
He doesn't realise the checkers have come out.
My goodness me.
The Australian Sprint Car Champion James McFadden
picks up $20,000.
He's about to climb up on the back.
Mildura.
Boys and girls.
Ladies and gentlemen.
Put your hands together for James McFadden.
$20,000.
First of all, thanks to Timber Speedway for putting this event on.
Waters Whiskey and everyone involved.
It's cool to come to these country tracks and put on a good race.
A race for really good money.
Hats off to the promoters and everyone involved.
It was tough.
We detuned the motor a lot to try and save the tyres.
Lucky that's the way the track went.
Thomas missed the rubber down the back straight.
Split the car there.
I was lucky enough.
He slowed it up a lot to get back to the rubber.
I was already in there.
We touched nerf bars.
What a nightmare.
Really tough to know where to be.
I could sit on his outside but I couldn't get it done.
Hats off to my guys.
PCB and Sheldon is back home.
He's got some FOMO right now.
He's not here.
We'll have a beer and debrief.
It was a good weekend for us.
