Chart properties

to change the configuration of your chart probably the easiest way to do that is by right clicking in the chart window and selecting properties here you can change all the different colors you want and uh there's other features here on the common button so let's just go through an example uh I will change the background color to something of a darker gray there's all sorts of colors in here I can change change it to or I can go to customs and I like it kind of darker gray like that add it select it say okay there's my color it shows up in this window here uh foreground color which is just the text I I like it white uh so there's bar up bar down bull candle be candle or line type and uh let's see I'll use a bar chart and uh yeah lime green is okay for up for down let's pick red FC red or crimson red and let's go to Common Tab and auto scroll I like the chart shift option see I'll keep it on bar chart I also want to show the uh ask line I also like to see the period uh separators for the day and I hate looking at the grid so I'll deselect that and I don't care about uh the volumes or to show object descriptions uh one thing about the showing the period separators that is related to your Market wa watch window so 19 hours ago in 7 minutes was the start of the daily period according to this specific broker if uh I select the show the period separators it'll start on the Zero Hour okay so I select okay and there I've got my my chart so you can see here on the the period separators uh this was at zero hours and then this would be 24 hours okay I want to zoom a little bit bit have a little more space here and uh if you want to add an indicator go to the Navigator window find the indicator that you want to add I'll use stochastics drag and drop it into the chart and here you have your parameters I'll use 10 period and the percentage D I'll use three and slowing is three it's fine Colors Let's Take a look at uh okay I like the levels of 20 and 80 that's fine and visualization on all time frames let's see what this looks like okay and also you can uh drag down the side to expand and uh detract uh the size of the indicator window by just kind of clicking on it and you can see the cursor changes to this uh kind of up and down uh drag bar and uh drag it to whatever level that you want
