Ladoga Lake & Road of Life - Trip Update

And this now is a piece of history. These trucks, exactly this model, were used during the blockade of Leningrad from the local guys to supply the town on the ice. When Ladoga lake, which is over there, this is a small like a river connecting with Ladoga lake, when the Ladoga lake was frozen, they're actually driving these trucks on the top of the ice supplying Leningrad with everything that they need. This is really really special place and I'm so glad that these guys brought me here to learn this part of the history. Ladoga lake and the road to life. So this truck actually was on the bottom of the lake. They found it, brought it out, restored it, they built it and now it's here. Real history. Real history. 37. These are some black and white pictures. Yeah, today I was part of one very interesting meeting here with the local guys, local motorcycle clubs. We've done a nice, I would say like ride on the important places around Ladoga lake and now finally we came here to the actual part. I'm so glad that I became part of this movement that they organize every year and just let me be, as I said, part of it and learn so much about the history. And of course now we're gonna make party, we're gonna eat over there, celebrate a bit. There are like, I don't know, 50-60 bikes at the moment. It's a big crowd. Actually we needed additional five guys to organize the traffic for us to stop everyone and let us go. It was very interesting, very interesting day and still not finished. See now this calmness.
