If you are planning a trip to Los Cabos and looking for inspiration for a birthday trip, group vacation, or friends getaway, this vlog shows what a relaxed and fun Cabo experience can look like.
Unfortunately, I didn't experience this
on my first visit, but that's a good
reason to go back and it was
surprisingly more fun this time.
>> This is our boat for the day, and I do
have to say it's not bad at all.
>> I came together with friends to
celebrate life after some hardships I
have experienced this year. But let's
start on a positive note.
We're going on a little boat here. We're
going on a yacht. We're going to have
some fun, play some games, just uh enjoy
Mexico, drink margaritas, and have
tacos.
All righty. Let me show you our crib.
This is Villa Machella.
We're a pretty big house with 25 people.
Not all staying in this house. We have a
second house rented a little bit further
up the hill which I will show you as
well. But this is pretty sick.
All righty. We have all assembled to go
to the ferry port. And this ferry port
entrance reminds me of the ferry port in
Elino. We're just looking for it. And
it's basically just this kind of like
market entrance. Bit unexpected, but uh
I guess some things are just different
in different countries.
>> Quite a walk.
>> Oh, okay. This looks more like a marina.
Oh, I remember walking here. I was here
three years ago, two and a half years
ago, and I remember just walking here by
the marina and somebody just started
walking with me, trying to hit on me,
but uh I was not interested at that
time.
>> Let's go.
>> Yes. Look at those girls. They know what
they're doing. Yes.
>> All right. This is our boat for the day.
And I do have to say it's not bad at
all.
>> All right, B. It is great. Welcome to
our yacht. It's
>> How long is it?
>> 100 ft.
>> 100 ft. We're here on a beautiful day.
It's sunny outside. We have a nice
breeze coming in. I'm going to take you
upstairs. Let's go. We're on the upper
deck now.
>> Beautiful sunbed that you can lay on and
relax.
>> Oh, wow.
>> Look at these views. Look at the map.
That's sick.
>> Wow. Wow. Wow.
>> It is looking fabulous. Then what what
do we have downstairs?
>> Follow me. We're going to go back. So,
now we're heading into the main cabin.
>> Hi, guys.
>> We have an amazing chef.
>> Oo, it smells so good.
>> Kitchen. And this is where the cabin is.
>> All right, let's have a day.
>> Let's have a day.
Moving into
moving into
what is going on. We actually were
celebrating. Um it's a really really
great experience. Right now I am looking
at a bay that is full of like beautiful
villas and it's oh it's gorgeous. It's
really gorgeous. Unfortunately I didn't
experience this on my first visit to Los
Capos but you know here I am. And
something that I wanted to talk about is
to travel deeper and like just really
travel with purpose and like enjoy the
moment. If an opportunity comes your
way, grab it, do it. Even if you do it
alone, I know that a lot of women are
afraid to travel by themselves. I
personally had so many great experiences
traveling by myself. It is something
that I can highly highly recommend. It
will transform you. It healed me, made
me more adventurous. And I had this
conversation earlier on with my
boyfriend on stage and just like say
life is pretty good. And it is pretty
good because we are really enjoying the
moments and living to the fullest. And
it is something that gets lost in the 9
to5 hustle where you have this one
vacation year and you know you have so
much pressure to make it amazing. But I
really want you to step out of that box
and just enjoy yourself a little bit.
That being said, I will reveal the view.
Oh my god, look at that.
How did I get a properly here? Got to
work harder. Also, super cute hat. Too
old for the Caprio. I am definitely too
old for him. So here, a lot of people
just jumped in the water. We're just
chilling. sausage in that whole bite.
I came inside the house to have a little
one-on-one with you guys. Something that
I haven't mentioned is that I'm actually
here on a birthday and this is actually
my eighth country that I'm visiting
within 2 months. I travel to Canada, the
US, France, England, Austria, and so on.
And one thing that I always need no
matter where I am is a reliable
insurance because I'm all over the
place. I'm doing a lot of activities and
I want to make sure that I'm safe while
doing so because anything can happen
when you're traveling and I had to learn
it the hard way when I was in Thailand.
Okay, story time because I think I have
to elaborate. I was on a free diving
trip to Thailand and got an eye
infection and it got so bad that I
almost went blind. The worst case
scenario happened. I was on a remote
island very very far away from hospitals
and everything and thankfully I had some
friends who were there who were taking
care of me because I couldn't even eat
by myself. I couldn't walk around by
myself. I looked like a monster. Like my
eyes were so so swollen. But what saved
me from the real stress was actually my
insurance safety wink because once I got
admitted to the hospital, everything was
taken care of. Everything was fully
refunded. And honestly, having the
headache of like not knowing if you are
going blind or not and like how you're
going to pay for the hospital bills and
whatnot. It's quite stressful and gave
me a lot of anxiety, but luckily
everything was very smooth and I didn't
have to worry about it at all. So, I'm
under Nomad Insurance Complete Plan,
which is a simple all-in-one plan that
protects you and keeps your travels
worry-f free. It works in over 175
countries, including your home country,
so you don't need to separate coverage
when you visit home. There are no
network restrictions, no deductibles,
and it's far more affordable than other
international plans I've looked at.
Plus, you can even buy it while you're
already abroad in case you forget to do
so. And something that I have to mention
these days is that they have a customer
service that is 24/7 led by humans and
not by AI. So that is a big plus for me
because sometimes you know I lose my
patients with AI. So I really appreciate
that they have human connections to
solve your problems. And safety wing
also includes benefits beyond travel and
medical coverage like wellness
therapies, physiootherapy and even
nutrition consultations that are
supporting both your physical and your
mental health. So yeah, I've been a
paying customer for several years and I
can highly highly recommend it. If you
want to give it a try, scan this QR code
or check my description box down below
and use Safety Wings price calculator to
see how it works out for you. That was
it with a quick Nelly's travel hack. And
now back to the vlog. We're back at the
villa. We are cooking up lunch and we're
having my boyfriend's famous Moroccan.
>> How do we feel about it?
>> I am so excited.
>> I wish the camera
>> How do you feel about it?
>> Oh, it's my favorite. I wish the camera
could capture the smell, but it doesn't.
It smells like
>> It smells like flavor.
>> Flavor, zing, like spice, garlic. So
much going on.
>> So much goodness, but no pepper.
>> Chopping it up.
>> I'm just a s chef. Yeah, just taking
>> very important job. Very important role.
>> Okay. Lunch was a huge success. We had
some really, really great Moroccan
chicken. Everybody loved it and h really
great experience to cook together for
almost 30 people. We're 25 people, I
think. And as you can see, I'm all ready
for the games. We're going to play some
games. We have a full afternoon of just
getting to know each other, playing
games, and just having fun. So, to take
you along.
>> Okay. So there's two people from the
same team and you start here, egg toss
it, and then the next one you go take a
step back, egg toss it again, and it
just goes really far. So you end up
throwing an egg like that.
>> No,
>> sometimes it'll break in your hand.
Sometimes it'll like It's all about the
momentum.
>> Like I should have worn a bikini.
So, we're strategizing about how we're
going to not supposed to break the egg.
>> Gentle hands. Gentle hands. Very
important. Hey, we found a spot. We're
going to do it down by the beach.
Ready? Mark, get set.
All right. Now take two big steps back.
All right, take a step back.
Okay, step back.
Okay, I'm out. Didn't catch the egg, but
team blue is still in.
All right. READY.
>> OKAY, this part goes to team green, but
we did really well. I have to say I
managed to stay up until the end. So,
not too bad at all. A lot of fun though.
1 2 3 girls. I like Okay, next one is
the rope. We have to pull on the rope.
It's girls versus girls. Boys versus
boys. Definitely have some strong girls
here. So, I think this could be a win
for us.
>> Warm up. Let's go.
>> We are We are warmed up.
>> Let's go.
And who are we winning this?
>> No shot. We're losing. No shot.
>> There's some bullying happening here.
I had such a good time in Los Caros and
I'm ending the year with this
celebration of life. At the same time,
I'm reflecting on the past year, and it
hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows.
As you know, life happens. At the
beginning of this year, I had some
severe health issues that made it almost
impossible for me to function properly.
Once I recovered from that, I had to
deal with some private issues that I
would say threw me off for quite some
time. And of course, a lot of things
didn't go according to plan and I didn't
achieve all of the things that I wanted
to achieve this year. And since we're
approaching the new year and the New
Year's resolution kicking in, I just
wanted to let you know that it is okay
that you didn't achieve everything that
you wanted to achieve this year. What
matters the most is that you kept going.
For some reason, I went back to some old
videos and read the comments and I
couldn't help it but feel this immense
gratitude of how far I've come.
Sometimes it seems like we didn't
achieve a lot, but then you look back
and you're just like, "Holy guacamole, I
did that." I'm currently at that stage
where I I reflect a lot about the past
year and I definitely had my fair share
of hardships and battles that I fought
privately and quietly. But everything
happened exactly the way it had to
happen. I had people that believed in me
that I've never met and hopefully I do
the same to you to a certain extent by
showing you that after rain there will
always be sunshine. On that note, thank
you so much for tuning in. Thank you so
much for the support for, you know,
watching my videos, sharing it with your
family and friends, leaving some
encouraging comments. It does not go
unnoticed. I try to respond to all of
your comments. I wish you all a merry
Christmas and I'll see you guys in the
new year.
