Hi, welcome to Heritage Kitchen. I'm Chef Matt Lopez. This is our mussels and chorizo,
one of our signature dishes. We take a lot of pride in using Texas local ingredients.
Welcome to Heritage Kitchen. What I have in front of you is our goat cheese fondue made with local
Texas goat cheese, local strawberries, raspberries, and local Texas red wine.
The french bread is made in-house. I make all our own breads daily. This is our okra.
We do a chili lime butter on it. It is crispy, lightly fried, and a little salt on top to finish.
What we have here is our New York strip from 44 Farms. It's a cut in-house daily.
Underneath that is our risotto with mushrooms and white wine.
And then we have some spinach, reduced down with a little white wine, parmesan, and some garlic.
And for dessert, we have our Texas pecan cake. This is Texas size. We have candied pecans,
house-made caramel sauce, and a cream cheese icing. These pecans are from Santa Fe, Texas,
so I try to keep it as local as possible. This is our strawberry cake. It's got fresh
strawberries sourced here from Texas. In between the layers are a red wine and strawberry jam.
Then we have a fresh whipped cream. This is our take on a strawberry shortcake, really light and fluffy.
