Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. So today I wanted to share my ultimate get ready in a rush
routine with you. I like to do this routine even when I'm not even in a rush, but just don't want
to spend too long in front of the mirror. So just as general inspiration on simplifying your everyday
life, which I think we all need to every once in a while in this hectic world. We don't need to look
100% perfect all the time. We can totally balance beautifully between looking like our natural
selves and still making a bit of an effort. And this little bit of effort has a bigger impact
than you think. I always shower at night time because it's a nice way to wrap up the day and
it makes me feel calm before bedtime too. So first up I'm just gonna rinse my face with a bit of cold
water. If you forget to shower or don't have the time in the morning, never underestimate the power
of a wet cloth. After rinsing my face I'm gonna apply my daily moisturizer and let that sink into
my skin before applying a bit of makeup. Now when it comes to hair there's two options that always
work for me when I want to look chic in a rush. So I either put my hair back in a low bun or I will
quickly add a bit of my homemade cornstarch dry shampoo and then give a few random sections of
hair a bend with my straightening iron. I always feel much more like myself with loose hair so this
is definitely my preferred hairstyle and it seriously only takes five minutes. I'm not
spending time parting it or curling every single strand of hair. I'm just adding a bit of volume
and life. So as you can see I just pick out some random strands and then give them a little bend
with the straightening iron. Moving on to makeup there are five products I can't live
without in a situation like this. Concealer to even out my skin, a bit of mineral powder to set
everything, a little bit of blush to get some color back in my cheeks, mascara and then a couple layers
of tinted eyebrow gel to define my brows ever so slightly. So then I can always touch up a bit later
through the day if I have the time or just feel like it. So I'm applying the concealer first under
my eyes then around my nose and then on my chin area to even out any redness. Then lastly I am
quickly concealing any blemishes that I might have. Then I add a layer of eyebrow gel and I'm
gonna let that dry for a few minutes before adding another layer. So while that dries I'm gonna apply
my mascara to make my eyes look a bit more awake. So I'm not applying a lot of layers I'm just
applying a light layer to kind of make my eyes pop more. Then after applying mascara I'm gonna add
that second layer of eyebrow gel and I just think that this is an easy and quick way of defining
your eyebrows especially if you apply two layers. Lastly I'm gonna apply a peachy fresh blush to my
cheeks and I'm finishing up with just a tiny amount of mineral powder in the t-zone to set everything.
Then that's the makeup done in five minutes.
So effortless outfits, even those made in a rush, is a lot easier to make when you have a curated
wardrobe. So really this step is rather dependent on that. I have a capsule wardrobe so I feel like
I have eliminated any sort of stress when it comes to getting dressed in the morning especially
when I'm in a rush. So making sure everything is stored properly so that nothing gets creased or
maybe go for items like jumpers that don't really crease at all on a day where you're in a rush.
And then make sure that every time you put your clothes back into the closet after use it all
looks good and is ready for next time you want to use it. So just to eliminate any sort of stress.
I think adding a handful of beautiful jewelry is one of the easiest ways to instantly look
more chic and put together. So I'm gonna put on all of my favorite jewelry and add a pair
of statement earrings too to make my look even more chic. An all black look is always a fail
safe look for me especially in the combination of a jumper and a pair of jeans. That's just the
ultimate go-to outfit for me, both on days where I'm in a rush or just want to chill out.
A look like this can be even more chic when you pair it with one item in another color. So for
example a beige coat or a navy blue coat and a brown bag like I'm wearing right here works
really well and it's just such a classic look. Another go-to look of mine in a situation like
this is a all monochrome look. I always know for sure that I'll feel good in an outfit like this.
Again it's just so classic and chic.
If you're not up for statement earrings you can layer up a bunch of necklaces. Instead
that finishes up any look so beautifully too. Now a classic breton striped top and a pair of
really comfy blue jeans is another look I often reach for when I don't really have the time or
energy to think too much about my outfit. The final touch of the look is adding a great coat
and then some accessories like a fedora, maybe even a pair of great sunglasses, especially if
you don't have the time to do a lot of makeup. And then adding a great bag will just make the
look a bit more heavy and look a bit more rich if that makes sense. So there you have it guys,
15 minutes well spent and it's time to go. I really hope you enjoyed this video. Don't forget
to give it a thumbs up if you did and I will see you all in the next one. Bye guys!
