Now some may say their dream resort is at a Maldives-esque resort on a floating bungalow
in the middle of the water.
Some may say their dream resort is in the middle of a rice field.
I know people love resorts made of bamboo or even waking up to floating breakfasts every
single day.
What's my dream resort?
Tanyapura.
Good morning guys, welcome to a brand new video today.
So this is pretty much the end of our week at Tanyapura.
It's been an amazing week and this is part two of my video series out here at Tanyapura.
So if you guys want a full facility tour, the link will be below.
Check out my previous video on the full facility tour out here.
I'm going to be showing you guys today a full day in the life, what it's like at Tanyapura.
I have a full schedule set up starting with tennis at 7am.
Early morning, here is the coach, Coach Om.
Good morning.
Nice to see you.
Very good.
How are you today?
Good.
So he is one of the best coaches here at Tanyapura.
Again, their entire staff is incredible.
So Coach Om is about to turn on the lights.
We're again going to work on a couple specific things.
Again I've played tennis for about 15-20 years of my life.
My main goal today is to work on my forehand.
My progression over the week, my body has been pretty sore.
Let's just put it that way.
So I wanted to keep it really, really simple.
We're going to work on a couple forehand drills and then maybe play some points at the end.
Now every time I play tennis, I start out with mini tennis, basically to loosen up the
body.
You just keep it really, really light.
Try to keep the ball in the two boxes.
Do this for about 4-5 minutes and then you can start playing.
I'm dying.
Need to work on the forehand.
So first tip of the day, I need to basically follow through more with my forehand and end
over here, which will add a little more depth to the shot, hit the ball deeper.
With a shorter ball, the opponent can kill it and put it away.
So right now I'm going to be working on hitting it, following through here, and also moving
forward.
You don't want to be moving backwards when you play tennis.
You want to always go forward.
Start from middle for first ball, running forehand here.
And second ball, you have to move around the ball.
Forehand again.
Third ball, move around the ball.
Hit forehand.
And for the last ball, run to the ball, running forehand.
Okay.
We do 12 balls.
12 balls.
Yeah.
Okay.
Look at that smile on your face.
I'm freaking dying, but I'm ready to try this out.
Need to get the forehand better.
I would like to get the forehand better.
Okay, I'm dying already.
This is a good excuse to stop.
So now we're going to play some points.
We're going to start off hitting the ball across court.
Whenever someone changes the direction of the ball, like hits it down the line, that's
when the point starts.
Sounds good.
Move everything forward.
Yeah.
Thank you so much.
Yeah.
Use your weight.
Use my weight.
Yeah, to hit the ball.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome.
This is one of the best ways to tell that you had a good training session.
Not as much as I thought.
Time to get some breakfast and then start the next activity for the day.
Guys, tiring tennis session.
Got a quick shower back at the room.
Midy and I ended up making it back to the Booster Deli and Cafe out in Tanjapura.
We've been literally eating here every single day, every single meal.
This is the breakfast.
Everything is healthy.
So right over there is like the grab-to-go style food.
There's like kombucha.
It's super, super healthy.
And again, right in front of me, I got a salmon avocado cream cheese.
Typically, I get an acai bowl, but I'm eating a little lighter.
I got a blueberry smoothie.
And I got a shot of turmeric, pepper, there's coconut, lime, and an orange juice.
And I got a recovery massage, which is much, much needed.
So I'm going to crush this food and I'll see you guys at the clinic.
So guys, I made it to Tanjapura's health center.
As I mentioned in my previous video, they have chiropractors, doctors, masseuses, nutritionists, everything here at Tanjapura.
And I'm currently following my masseuse right now.
And she is taking me to the massage rooms on the second floor.
You can actually see there's like fitness and Pilates classes going on in there.
I will continue to follow her.
I need recovery.
I'm so excited for this.
Throw this on.
After a full week of Tanjapura, I need a massage.
I ended up getting a two-hour massage yesterday to help my cramping.
I had issues with my legs.
It's been a tough week, but I got Tanjapura's signature massage about to set off behind me.
And let's get it going.
Guys, what an awesome massage.
My legs were killing.
Every time she was massaging my legs, I was like, ah.
But much needed massage.
I got the 60-minute signature massage out here at Tanjapura.
I actually believe any massages over 1,000 Thai Baht is 50% off currently.
So if you guys are out in Phuket, get to Tanjapura.
The massages are awesome.
I look so tired right now probably.
But speaking of the health center, I actually saw a physiotherapist about two days ago, which I've never visited in my life.
I learned a lot more about my body.
He basically called out all the points of my body that was tense, that was sore.
Physiotherapy is supposedly for chronic pain.
So I told him about my shoulder, my forearm basically he worked on, my hips he worked on.
It was an awesome session.
And I'd say physiotherapy is just as important as a masseuse.
But right now, I'm actually going to get some water, check on Mitty.
He's doing a little tennis session and then head to a yoga recovery class here at Tanjapura.
So I ended up finding the teacher.
Miss?
Lorenz.
And she is going to teach us?
The active recovery.
So basically, it's something very good for after workout or for athletes who has been running or has been swimming or any kind of, you know, very high intensity work.
So this is quite active.
It's not a passive recovery.
So you're going to feel a bit of strengthening and stretching at the same time.
I love it.
Let's do it.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Really appreciate it.
Have a good one.
Thank you.
All right.
So yoga was in Fitness Studio 2 with Lorenz.
It was an awesome session.
I'm surprised I survived the entire hour.
I actually feel so much better now from the massage to the yoga.
All the stretches that we did during this recovery session, I actually feel recovered.
Right now, I'm going to go back to the room.
I'm going to see how mommy, Ali, and Mitty is.
We might get some lunch and then we have something else set up for Rachel and I this afternoon.
So from playing with Ali, I had a quick lunch with Mitty.
The food was great.
Rachel ended up getting her own massage.
How was the massage?
I was falling asleep.
It was really great and very pampering, very relaxing.
They're quite used to, like, a sports massage.
So, like, it really relaxes your muscles really well.
Totally recommend it.
And what are we about to do now?
Body composition analysis.
Let's go.
Let's do it.
We pretty much walked into this tiny room.
We stepped on this scale-like platform, you could say.
It was super simple.
You keep your clothing on.
It measures a ton of information about your body that you might not even know about.
Unfortunately, Rachel being pregnant just recently, it's a little bit off.
But for me, what we learned, I'm a little bit skinny, which, shocker.
However, I do hydrate properly.
So I'm very, very hydrated.
And there's a ton of other things that you can learn that builds into an actual nutritional plan
if you guys want to move forward with something like that out here at Tanya Pura.
So it's definitely something that I would recommend if you guys come out here and something that I think I might look more into
to change my diet, to change my health.
And overall, this week has been one heck of an eye-opener for me.
It's been completely life-changing.
And what I mean by that is I'm literally at my lowest point in my life.
What I say by that is my health.
About four or five years ago, I would play tennis five, six days a week.
I would go to the gym five, six days a week.
And I would do yoga two, three times a week.
Now, because of Tanya Pura, I was so sore this week.
I did not feel good, unfortunately, the first couple of days.
But overall, the last few days, I feel a lot better with myself.
After some yoga, after a massage, I feel a lot better.
And this is a lifestyle that I definitely want to improve on.
Probably going back to Bangkok, I might be exercising more.
Who knows? But Tanya Pura was such an incredible experience to at least wake me up, put me back on track.
What do you guys think about it?
Who wants to go first?
You can go first.
So now I feel a lot better, stronger, and happier about some tennis sessions.
The coaches teach me step-by-step about the forehands, the backhands.
This is one of the best tennis resorts in all of Asia.
I love it.
And to piggyback real quick off of what Medhi said about the coaches,
the thing I love about the coaches and pretty much all the staff at Tanya Pura,
they care about the clientele that walks through the door.
So being a tennis player myself, going to a ton of different tennis clubs in my life,
I've noticed that people are burned out.
People don't really care about the clientele.
They care more about the money.
At Tanya Pura, it's not like that at all.
They care about each individual.
They care about each athlete.
They want you to progress, and they want you to get better.
So that's something that's really rarely found.
I love that about Tanya Pura.
I do too.
I love the fact that I get to reconnect with my body after the body composition analysis.
And they break down into what your body actually needs in terms of nutrition.
And like you said, there are many other holistic programs that you could piggyback out of that.
And they have the whole packages and programs that are designed for you,
not only for your body, your mental health, but also the food.
We actually did the cooking class that the chef taught us how to actually make healthy meals for us back at home.
And it's really simple.
It's really helpful.
And also, it's really, really nutritious.
So that's something I really enjoy here.
Absolutely.
Ollie, you want to say something?
Ollie wants to say something.
Ollie loves it too.
We got a lot of cute photos of him on the tennis court.
He loves it too.
But overall, the last week has been incredible.
Tanya Pura is definitely my dream resort.
I probably would have appreciated it a lot more when I played tennis, when I was training just four or five years ago.
All my friends who have been watching my Instagram stories over the last week, especially my tennis friends, they love the place.
This is somewhere that they would love to train at, they've been telling me.
And this is definitely a place that I would recommend for individual athletes, for families, even for any individuals who want to better themselves.
Tanya Pura will definitely put you on the right track.
It's like a little athletic holiday that I would totally recommend.
So I hope you guys enjoyed the two videos that I posted about Tanya Pura.

And I'm sure I missed some things about Tanya Pura.
