ORIHARA / PIRINEN (FIN) | Ice Dance Rhythm Dance | Finlandia Trophy 2025 | #GPFigure

And so now to the home nation team, Yuka Orahara and Juho Pirinen. Juho from a city two hours away but his parents are staying in his apartment in Helsinki just 10 to 15 minutes from this venue. And this charismatic and engaging couple will be skating to music by the Spice Girls for their 1990s rhythm dance. Well the Helsinki Ice Hall audience would have that performance as the winning one for sure. Yuka Orahara and Juho Pirinen who train within this city embracing the support as they fly the Finnish flag and ice dance at the Finlandia Trophy 2025. Great for them on this occasion to be given all the support of this arena. For so many years they are the second Finnish team and although I'm sure they're desperate for their training mates and friends Yulia and Mattias to be back on the international scene, a chance for them to soak up and absorb all of the support that they have in a home Grand Prix. And indeed they've had now two wonderful experiences. The home Grand Prix to some extent for Yuka was NHK Trophy, the country where she's from. As Maurizio Margaglio says, nice and beautiful. Interestingly today in Finland is a day when children, school-age children can go to their father's workplace. So Maurizio Margaglio's youngest child is here watching daddy at work as he supports his students. On screen now a little far apart from one another on the twizzles and it's a level two that has been assigned to Juho level four. And as we see their exploitation of the ability to touch the ice within the midline step confirmation that they too just have a level one. So continued consistency from the technical panel and giving just level one. So only one difficult turn assigned as we see this perfect movement to the music on the vocals of Stop Right Now within the straight line lift. And there's somewhat of a redemption skate for Yuka and Juho having struggled in their rhythm dance at NHK as Neil, Brian and Maurizio join them. They are responsible for Finnish ice dance in this nation. Everybody accepting the 69.39 points.
