Hello and welcome. Today I want to talk to you about these Tactical Pro Mid Boots that I received
from Lem's Shoes. To be honest, I'm very excited about these boots. I've been a fan of Lem's Shoes
for quite a few years now. I'm quite a few pairs of both boots and shoes and these are the first
Tactical Boots that I have picked up from Lem's Shoes. One of the main reasons why I first became
interested in Lem's Shoes is because of their minimalist approach. Two main things that you
find in their footwear is a wide toe box. So once again your toes aren't sit there getting all
crunched together giving you more of that natural barefoot feel and also the zero drop heel. So what
does that mean? Most shoes, especially Tactical Boots, I own quite a few pairs and have used quite
a few pairs over the years both as an active duty Marine and as a civilian. As you go from the
midfoot to the heel there is generally a lift. So instead of standing naturally, just imagine this
is your foot, you are actually up let's say wearing a high heel which is very unnatural,
leads to pain, discomfort and injuries over time. I've discussed that in past videos in detail
especially with personal experiences so I won't go into that now. So what's cool about these
Tactical Pros from Lem's is the fact that I'm getting all the good stuff that I get from
let's say other Tactical Boots that I've used in the past as far as protection and comfort and to
be honest with you even the look. But with Lem's I'm getting something different. I'm getting that
wide toe box as well as the zero drop heel. So from the front to the back, completely level,
not having that higher heel in the back as I discussed previously. These Tactical Pro Boots
remind me a lot of Jungle Boots that I wore back in the day in the Marine Corps. It has the leather,
it has the speed lace setup making it a lot easier to take your boots on and off quickly
especially if you're on a hike or a ruck and want to swap out your socks and you're exhausted. So
little things like that make a big difference. But the other thing that's very cool is that
there is the Vibram or Veebram. I know before you correct me it's just after 30 plus years of
calling them Vibram as a United States Marine back in the day. It's hard for me to switch to Veebram
but I always get the comments stop calling them Vibrams they are Veebrams. To be honest with you
I think Vibram sounds a lot cooler than Veebram. But anyway I digress. There are the Vibram
soles on this boot which once again is what my Jungle Boots had in the Marine Corps and I think
these are the first boots that Lems is actually using the Veebram sole on. And the Veebram is
synonymous with quality, comfort, as I stated many law enforcement, military, first responder
boots prefer to have the Veebram sole. So once again another excellent feature of these boots.
Now this pair of mine is a men's size 12 US and weighs in at less than 16 ounces. So less than
a pound which is excellent for any boot let alone a tactical boot. Getting into some more of the
specs and features of these boots. They are water resistant. The upper is full grain leather and
nylon. The lining is polyester. The outsole as I mentioned is the Vibram or Veebram Mega Grip.
The insole is the Adventure Poly Insole. Also comes with an extra set of insoles. Whether you
decide to use them or not is up to you. The stack height is 19 millimeters. As I mentioned the heel
is a zero drop. Now Lems does state that these fit true to size. For me I always opt for a half size
bigger. I like to double up on socks sometimes and I also like that extra room in there. Not too much
so you don't cause any abrasions or hot spots or blisters. But once again I'm just telling you what
I do and what my preference is. But as far as Lems is concerned they do fit true to size. Now these
boots as I mentioned are designed for law enforcement, first responders, even certain military
organizations. But after wearing these around for a couple days and having some experience with
footwear and specifically boots I can say that these are excellent for hiking or rucking. So you
don't need to be law enforcement or a first responder to take advantage of the benefits of
these Tactical Pro Mid boots. If you are interested in purchasing these Tactical Pro boots I will put
a link, my affiliate link, in the description as well as pinned in the comments field. So if you do

what I'm doing and bringing this information over to you. So bottom line if you are in the market
for a pair of tactical boots that are a bit different than most of the boots that you will
find on the market because of the fact that they do have the zero drop heel and the wider toe box.
Vibram soles, speed laces, full grain leather and made by a company LEMS that you can trust.
